Myrtle Ridge Farm offers an inviting camping experience with its serene environment and friendly hosts, Bev and Mark, who go out of their way to ensure guests feel welcome. The campsite is well-maintained with clean amenities, including toilets and showers, which are regularly serviced. While the proximity to the M1 highway might introduce some ambient noise, the peaceful setting and spacious sites with individual fire pits make it a popular choice for families and groups. The creek, while not always easily accessible or ideal for swimming, adds a touch of nature to the landscape, making it an excellent spot for a getaway close to Sydney.

A gem of a spot!
Tent · With kids
What a magical place and conveniently only an hour and a half from Sydney. We were welcomed warmly by Bev. A fabulous lady who went above and beyond to settle us in. She helped us pick out a great spot.
We spent two nights here and it was just magical. Fire pits provided with timber on site you can purchase. It was peaceful and felt very secure. Toilet facilities were very clean.
It was our first camping experience and we certainly will be making Myrtle ridge farm a regular stop for us. Thank you Bev-we look forward to staying with you again.

Easy stop off the highway
22 ft travel trailer · With kids
Great spot, Bev was very friendly and met us to show us where to camp. Quick stop off the highway, mown grass and relatively flat spot. There are toilets which we didn’t use as we have our own.

Great spot
Tent · With kids
Great space! Lovely friendly hosts who did rounds of the paddock daily. Clean toilets and the hot shower was an unexpected luxury! Nice flat ground for tents. Great fire pits. We didn’t find the advertised stream as close as we thought and didn’t find it clean or big enough to play in.
Not sure what the dog policy is but there were a few big dogs off leads that made us nervous as we had small children.

Chilled Easter Weekend

Perfect relaxing Easter weekend.
We had such a great time camping in Bev's Campground over the long weekend. The place is so spacious, great facilities and great privacy as the sites are well spread out. We also have started camping with our new dog and Bev's place was such a great experience with a dog in tow. Lots of space for kids as well.
Our hosts (sorry I'm terrible with remembering all of your names) were so friendly and helpful and made the stay so enjoyable. Highly recommend.

I loved the spaciousness of the tent sites, the area left open in the middle was great for the kids to run around and play. The river was a beautiful area to explore and everything, including the toilets were kept clean and tidy. Having your own bon fire drum to use was great as well. Bev and her crew were very friendly and accommodating.

Good but not what we were expecting
Tent · With kids
Overall we had a good experience however the site was not what we were expecting based on the site description and photos.
The creek was far away from our site and a bit swampy and uninviting. We expected to be able to hang out by the creek but that wasn't possible. It's more of a field with the creek through some bushes away to the side. No creek side banks to hang out by the water.
The host was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Good toilets and nice warm shower was available.
Good distance away from other campers.
You could hear the M1 although that didn't bother us.
Close to a local rsl which had great food as well as lovely bush walks only 10-15 min drive away.

10/10 place!
Tent
Amazing hosts, very lovely and welcoming, and gave us lots of useful information. Even gave us a introduction to their cows and a bit of background information about their farm, which we appreciated. Very scenic location and beautiful place to relax. Provided fire pit (drum) that worked very well. Lots of nearby hikes and things to do, with extra information provided in the 10/10 toilet facilities (cleaned TWICE a day and regularly checked hot water!!). We brought a dog, who was warmly welcomed and there is a big off-leash area specifically for dogs to play.

This was a perfect campsite! Bev was so helpful (both on messages and in person) and lovely! We had a quiet afternoon and evening with loads of space and privacy. Even though it rained it was easy to drive out the next day which we were worried about not being in a 4x4. Would definitely recommend!

Great site for a weekend camp
Tent · With kids
We enjoyed a great weekend at Myrtle Ridge Farm. Bev and Mark were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful, and the site was great value for money. I was a little surprised by the road noise from the distant highway that carries down into the valley, but all in all a good site to stay in

Overall the campsite was great - spacious, clean, clean as portaloo and shower, and could have a fire. While it looked peaceful, it did not sound peaceful, it is really close to the Pacific Motorway - I tried getting to sleep counting trucks rather than sheep.
