The site is lovely - swimming pool, lakes with gators and birds, eagles flying around, nice facilities. It’s pretty self contained 30 mins from Hilton Head Island one side and 20 mins to Savannah another. We had a great time

Great spot to check out. Lots of people willing to share their history knowledge. Easy walk around the fort. We also hiked out to the lighthouse.
