A wonderful campground! Beautifully kept and the perfect location! Couldn’t recommend more!
We really enjoyed our stay at Shangri La Push and would absolutely recommend it. The property is thoughtfully designed, the tent sites are well laid out, and there are plenty of amenities. It’s easy to see why it has been recognized as one of the better Hipcamps in the state. The host is also very friendly and welcoming.
All of the tent sites are first come, first served, as noted in the listing. Just be aware that if you arrive late, the quieter sites farther from the road will likely already be taken, so you may end up closer to the road where there is some passing traffic.
What really stood out is how much thought has clearly gone into the entire setup. The sites are a great size, the layouts make sense, and everything feels designed around what campers actually need. There’s a shower, a well-set-up washroom, porta-potties nearby, garbage cans, electrical plugs, and other small conveniences that make the stay much more comfortable. It’s clear that a lot of care and effort went into making the place special. We definitely plan to come back. And the friendly orange cat that acts as the “guard”, greeting all the guests is so cute and just made the experience all the better.
We had such a great stay! Dale was an amazing host. He was friendly, helpful, informative, and incredibly quick to respond whenever we had questions. He gave us a tour of the RV when we arrived, showed us where everything was and how it worked, and even provided space heaters for the cooler nights.
The RV was very well stocked with everything we needed, including cookware, utensils, silverware, paper towels, dish soap, sponges, trash bags, and more. There’s also a shared full bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink that was always very clean and fully stocked, even with thoughtful extras like feminine products. There’s also an outdoor shower with hot water, which was especially beautiful at night under the fairy lights!
The grounds themselves are beautiful, peaceful, and very well kept. The location is also super convenient and close to Forks, making it a great home base for exploring the area.
And we can’t forget Ginger, the sweetest little host! Ginger is genuinely one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever met and would come greet us when we arrived back at camp. Such a fun part of our stay.
I would absolutely recommend staying here. Dale went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would happily stay again!

This place has beautiful camping spots, a wonderful host, also showers and wifi. And lets not forget the sweetest fur baby, Boss! Great little stop and Dale offered awesome suggestions for my next day adventures!!

Such a great location, and the campsite is very well-kept! There are several bathrooms available, including a flush toilet and a few portable restrooms, as well as two showers for the campsite. Another fun plus is the very friendly cat who may be there to greet you!
Check-in was very easy, and Dale was great about communicating quickly whenever we had questions during our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we’re visiting the area!
We had a great time camping here! Dale was a wonderful and attentive host. He even brought over a radio flyer wagon for our kiddos to play with! We would definitely stay here again. The bathroom and shower are a great touch and the location is SO close to First Beach.

The flush toilet and shower were nice extras.
Epic sunsets at close by 1st beach and a nice base to explore south down the coast and Hoh Rainforest.

If you are looking for an RV site with electric and water in the bushes while going out to see the ocean beaches and don’t mind paying top dollar (89 a night after fees) than not a bad site. Our second night we found full hookups (including garbage) just down the road at Quileute for 37 a night right next to the beach

My friends and I camped here on a girls trip visiting Olympic and it was amazing! The host Dale is a treat to meet and chat with. The site Itself was amazing and it is a very well located camp for a Basecamp on the west side of Olympic NPS. The amenities were all clean and terrific, we all absolutely loved our stay!

Sangria La Push is a lovely campground. We had the whole place for ourselves but each camp site has some degree of privacy, as well as water and electricity. Dale is a gracious host and gave us some nice insights on where we going next!

Great little campground!!! Very cozy camp spots, actually had quite a bit of privacy. Doug was very helpful and a very nice person. Even had a picnic table with several electrical plug ins, and we were able to charge our electric bikes. Great bike-packing campground!!!!
Host is exceptional. We got in late and Dale was there to help us with multiple vehicles across a couple sites. The sites are well spaced, and most are reasonably private, but neighbor camper noise and road noise still carry (somewhat to be expected). Plenty of restrooms, and two showers were a nice amenity. Definitely recommend.

Dale was super friendly and welcoming guy from the beginning, was great at presenting our spot and explaining any questions, great guy to have a conversation with as well and you can tell he makes sure that every person is satisfied with their stay at this wonderful location.
We enjoyed our stay at Shangri La Push. The campsite was large and level with power and water. The public bathroom was clean. Despite being able to hear some road noise during the day, traffic died down during the night and we got a good night's sleep. Conveniently located for access to Hoh area of Olympic National Park, La Push and various beaches. We'll be back next time we visit the area.
This campground was a breath of fresh air for campgrounds in the area. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I love that they are letting the forest grow between campsites rather than just squeezing in as many spots as they can. It was a great stay, would definitely recommend.
Great launch pad for seeing Ho Rainforest (don’t miss the Hall of Mosses) and/our tide pools at area beaches. We got Ruby beach - incredible. Well maintained campsites with nice shower and toilet. Easy stay. highly recommend. Dale is super.

The owners were very kind. The shower and potable water access was great. The camp ground was clean. It was a great location to explore Olympic.
Loved that there were hot showers available and the camp site was very clean. The owners were friendly and the free WiFi was very helpful. Very cute campsite in a pretty great location.

Dale’s property was perfect and he was very helpful and kind. We forgot some cooking supplies so he ended up letting us use the kitchen that’s in the welcome hut! Bathrooms easily accessible and potable water tasted delicious! Thanks Dale!
Dale is a welcoming host and had good communication with us prior to our stay. We had an rv spot with hookups and everything worked great. The Wi-Fi wasn’t the best but it didn’t matter to us. Dale was nice enough to deactivate a motion light that was shining on our evening gathering.
We only stayed the one night, it was nice.

Private and felt safe and well cared for by the owners. Would definately use again as a base for visiting local beaches (La Push area) and the Hoh. We enjoyed our stay.
The site is very well located and my spot was lovely. The host is very nice.
The real issue is that there is only one bathroom with a shower for the entire campsite. There is one outdoor shower if that's your thing. But the one bathroom is very depressing. The walls are unfinished plywood (not even painted) and the ceiling by the shower is exposed metallic material. It is hard to believe that the owner gets away with this. There are signs to clean up after yourself, with a massive garbage can that holds used paper towels. In one case, the garbage was overflowing. And while I am fine with cleaning up after myself, the owner expects us to go under the sink and use cleaning supplies after our shower. With no sponge. And the floor has not mat so with the water coming out from the shower there is water all over the floor.
You must take your trash away and there is no disposal for black water. That might be okay but I was paying premium rates.
Also, there is no real reservation system. While Hipcamp may have the spot reserved, it's first come first served. And if you stay there a second night, you need to put some items on the picnic table. I don't understand why there cannot be "reserved" signs.
Lastly, the internet is not great either.
Dale runs a wonderful camp where I enjoyed staying for five days. The hot outdoor shower was a wonderful and unexpected addition. It was great to use at night. Loved seeing all the different species of slugs on the paths and plants around camp. Dale is great and runs a beautiful and clean camp. Site was very close to a number of beaches in La Push and was about ten minutes from Forks. Will definitely return here next time I’m in the area. Thanks Dale!
