Cozy, clean and classic experience! Late February early March is an extremely quiet and cozy experience in the Circe airstream with likely only a visit from wild birds. I highly recommend a visit to the airstream of Virginia to enjoy your time fully in a 1984 airstream and appreciate the level of quality from this company. Mark was a super super host and thanks to his accommodations our weekend turned into some great memories. I sincerely appreciated the communication and local suggestions to open restaurants, breweries, and sunset opportunities less than 5 miles away. Mark‘s place really sets the stage for exploring a beautiful part of Virginia even further if you have more than two days or a weekend.

We had a lovely time staying in Mark's airstream. We went during the week, which meant that the winery was closed and we had the entire place to ourselves. We enjoyed watching deer and fireflies in the field in the evenings. If you are going to boat, you be aware that their is no dock access and it's a little tricky to get in and out while avoiding mud, especially when it is not high tide. But once you're in the boat, it's a nice paddle to Colonial Beach.

Mixed feelings

The property was stunning, a comfortable and spacious airstreamer nestled near the bay. Most amenities are available, a few snags occurred but our host was very efficient in settling them with care.
However, the dock despite it being in photos on the monroe bay Vinyard website with lovely couples getting married, it is.. ? Maybe or maybe not their property? A strange man drunk out of his mind threw all of the boats we had (they were secure on land near the dock as we used them often) but took "his" canoe safe and sound near his truck. He explained that he had no idea what we were talking about regarding the boats and that he had no time to talk to us and to leave. I was responsible for those boats and I searched through the marsh which was much like quicksand and was dangerous to explore but eventually I found the boats stuck in the mud, some things in the canoe were placed inside the paddle boat which was a firm indication that he in fact just threw these boats into the bay in drunken anger. It was unfortunate that this happened as he made my wife feel unsafe for the remainder of the trip that was otherwise a perfect and beautiful stay.

Perfect nature weekend
We loved our stay at the airstream! Mark was helpful/communicative host, had one snag with the airstream AC cutting off but was able to get it hack on right away, and the guide was really helpful! It was perfect for a nature weekend, so fun to take the kayak out on the river and we saw lots of wildlife!
