The campsite was private and very spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and spread out. The surroundings were peaceful, providing a nice sense of seclusion. Overall, it was a pleasant and quiet camping experience.

We had a lovely stay at Hoolie Farm. The campsite was private even though there are multiple sites. Beautiful setting and we were able to do some much needed relaxing.

Site 1 - Sunset Knoll
Sunset Knoll was fantastic for star gazers! Awesome that firewood is provided by the host right next to the outhouse. We would stay there again. Lots of biking roads/trails nearby and a quick ride into Montpelier. Nice country store just a couple miles away for morning breakfast and coffee!

Great spot! Loved the tranquility of the location. Easy to access, yet completely remote. Mike was super responsive and helpful with communications. I appreciated the access to water and ample firewood provided. Would love to come back!

Beautiful spot! Mike is a great host. He had tons of firewood for us for our chilly nights and the spot is well maintained with a really lovely outhouse! We can’t wait to return.

We had a great one night stay on Mike’s land. Peaceful, private, and an amazing view of the stars. Mike was helpful and hospitable upon our arrival. Close enough to town for food and gas etc but feels very secluded. Would recommend to anyone considering!

Maple Overlook is a lovely spot. Super private. Situated on a bluff next to a pumpkin field. Mike is a great host. Obviously cares about his beautiful land. There’s a perfect little farm stand from which you can purchase vegetables from the farm. Highly recommended.

It was a good experience. There was water and an outhouse but not much to look at view wise. Just a farmy field. Make note that there’s no cell service and the trees are very overgrown so they’re not great for hammocks.

As soon as we parked at site #3 (Maple), we one we had made a great choice. The view of planted fields, steep, wooded hills and a meandering stream were idyllic. And other than the sound of the forest and its animals, it was completely serene and peaceful.
We had a fire amount of rain during the three nights we spent, but that just added a mountain mist to the scene that was truly surreal.
If you’re looking for a place of beauty to unwind and relax, this is it.

Awesome private spot in a very scenic area. About two miles off the green mountain gravel growler route for anybody looking for a place to stay. Fresh water was available which was another plus. I’d stay here again !

Beautiful site - clean, beautiful view, firewood was included. Hosts were lovely. Outhouse was spotless and looked new - still smelled like fresh cut pine. This site is cozy and somewhat removed from the other two sites. There is quite a drop off as you can see in the pictures - book one of the other two sites if you have toddlers! Was perfectly fine with a 9yo. The bonfire was huge and beautiful too.

We enjoyed our time camping at Hoolie Farms! We came for the eclipse and the conditions were perfect! Mike thoughtfully prepared our site after a recent snowstorm by plowing it so it was dry to camp on and provided our group with firewood. There was plenty of space for both multiple vehicles and tents, and the surrounding paths are beautiful to walk around. Bonus for the fresh eggs that we were able to purchase on our way out. We would camp here again!

Amazing spot! Mike was a terrific host! He met us and led us to the site, had dry wood ready for a fire and was so thoughtful regarding our stay during the eclipse:)

Mike is a super friendly and helpful host. Had not problem coming out and greeting us and assisting us where to go. As well as things to do around the area. The site itself sites on a hill. It wonderfully quiet.

Our family loved our stay here! Mike was very friendly and helpful. Our spot was private, with a nice fire pit and picnic table. The outhouse was so cute! We had a gorgeous view from our site, as well. Would definitely stay again, and recommend to other campers.
