The RV site includes a 38 ft. covering, 50A electricity, sewer and city water hookups. There is also a fire pit and a covered picnic table close by. Semi working farm with cows, chickens, and small garden. The ranch also features a 1910 house that is currently being renovated. This property has been in our family since the 1960's, and owned by close friends of the family since the house was built in 1910. Close access to San Marcos, Lockhart, and Luling. Public river access is just down the road. Just 8 miles away located in the heart of Texas’s barbecue capital, Lockhart State Park is an intimate, area with lush trees and trails along the Clear Fork Creek. It offers amenities like a swimming pool, a golf course, a small waterfall, fishing, and hiking. It’s just a 10-minute drive from legendary restaurants like Black’s Barbecue, Smitty’s Market, and Kreuz Market—all must-eat stops for barbecue fans. The state park offers short, flat trails ideal for novice hikers on the Comanche Loop, and fishing is as easy as casting your line—no license required—and enjoying the peaceful environment. If you're willing to venture a little further, 22 miles away you have Palmeto state park.Semi working farm that also features a 1910 built house currently undergoing renovations. Cows, chickens, and a garden all on site. Public river access just down the road as well as very cheap river access with bathrooms and showers just around the corner. We also have two tandem kayaks and two single seat kayaks available while staying. Both are about 10' in length. Very quit country setting. Large farm fields across the road. There is also the occasional deer siting and turkey call in the morning. Depending on time of year and supplies, firewood will be available free of charge as well. Turn in to property is a little tight, but easily done if coming from the east (FM1977) just verify low water crossing is not closed before coming from this direction. RV site has a 38' length covering, sewer and 50A electric hookup. Water hookup is about 60' from the site so bring a long hose or fill tanks before hand.

The Ranch RV Spot
Only one rv spot that has full hook ups with covered awning. The owners are very nice, quite, raising cows, chickens and 4 children. The location is rural but only 15 minutes or so from San Marcos. The tiny down of Martindale has a public parking for $10 a day that has access to the river. I took my 2 dogs to the river and was all alone. Great solitude.

Perfect stay for anyone with a camper trailer! Full hook-ups under an awning and spacious driveway make it an easy stay. Loved seeing the cattle pass directly behind us and cute cats roam the property. We swam, caught some fish and even saw a beaver in the river close by. Went shopping in San Marcos and got barbecue at Blacks Barbecue in Lockhart. Great weekend getaway and highly recommended stay which Becca and Robert made possible!

Peaceful Ranch
We had a great stay here! It was private and peaceful. Far enough from the city but yet close to all your needs in the nearby cities. There is river near the property, about a mile away, for tubing, swimming etc. e got fresh eggs from their chickens. Becca and Robert are wonderful hosts. Definitely recommend.🙂
