Whispering Pines RV Retreat

We loved the look and layout of the land on the website and the owner was quick and responsive. We were 2 sprinter cans traveling to Bend for Memorial Day weekend and expected that boondocking would be scarce! Our booking process was smooth. Surprisingly, we ended up finding camping areas in the National Forest, however, and ended up letting the owner know that we probably wouldn’t end up staying at Whispering Pines. We kept the option open but were able to keep our remote site through the weekend. My only regret is that I didn’t close the loop with the owner at the end of the weekend. Again, looked like a great site and the owner was exceptionally kind and thoughtful in communication.

Whispering Pines RV Retreat

We had a great stay at this camp spot. The pad was nice and level, which made setting up super easy, and backing in was no problem at all. The area was peaceful and quiet—perfect for a relaxing night. Ingrid was incredibly helpful and friendly. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and even saw us off in the morning. Her hospitality really made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Friendly and helpful host. Large and level gravel pad with electricity. Some neighborhood and distant traffic noise but reasonably quiet night.

A quiet out of the spot under the trees—away from town, but so close when you want to be in town! The safe, easy power hook up was perfect for my needs.
