Really nice location, we needed to get to NE Portland one night and Edgefield the other, so perfect spot - and walking distance (long walk but all on pedestrian only trail near property) is historic downtown Gresham, very cool! Nice shade trees too.

Dave and Ellen’s was great! Large grass lawn with lots of room. Beautiful country setting, but in the middle of town. Some street noise from neighbors, but it was a holiday weekend and to be expected in the city. If you parked further away from the street it may not be an issue.

Beautiful, safe, awesome hosts!!

Our host was gracious, friendly, and very helpful. Made us feel very welcome! Very beautiful and safe property! Kid friendly, dog friendly and plenty of space for your dog to run around. I plan to visit again every time we are in the Portland area. It's a gated property and a very nice neighborhood. I repeat. Super safe! I had to go on an out-of-town trip and I needed to leave the motorhome there there while we looked at property. We were going to buy and I felt completely safe to leave it there unattended. Close to Portland. Close to everything you want to see... Lots of trails and close to many different sightseeing areas that you will love. Thanks for being awesome hosts! See you next time!

Friendly hosts & beautiful property

They were excellent host! Made us feel comfortable and we're so helpful. Gave perfect directions in met the gate. Their land is inviting, beautiful, safe for children and family, so very quiet, and affordable. During our 6-day stay. We had to go out of town to go look a property, We felt safe to leave our belongings and our RV there. Very safe place. There is plenty of room to spread out and have privacy at the same time even if they have other guests. They had one other guest while they were here for the first couple of days. It is right there in Gresham and close to Portland by minutes. Just can't say enough good things about the hosts and the wonderful stay we had! Thanks Dave! See you next time we are in the area.

Dave was an excellent camp host. He was very communicative and easy to work with. Although we didn’t spend much time at the camp, it was a quiet, peaceful location, and we would definitely stay there again.

Covenient, well-kept, and quiet!

I enjoyed camping on Dave & Ellen's well-tended land. The location was convenient and surprisingly quiet for being located so close to town. Highly recommend for those looking for a basecamp while exploring the area!

Wonderfully Safe & Private Hideaway

This property is just absolutely wonderful, and so are the owners!! Dave keeps the property tip top and with the surrounding tall wooden fence we felt very secure. There’s a beautiful walking path super nearby and the grocery store is within walking distance. We were able to run errands in town and yet feel private and secluded. Our pup got to run around and I wasn’t worried about him getting into anything bad or getting hurt since the property is so well taken care of. We’ve stayed here multiple times and will continue to come back. Thanks, Dave and Ellen, for sharing your beautiful property!

Just as advertised….private, quiet and secure. We found a shady spot and had a pleasant night. Short drive to downtown Gresham where there are a number of nice places for dinner.

Glorious Boondocking

The yard is a large green fenced lawn with lots of room to choose your spot. Dave met us at the gate and was a vey friendly wealth of knowledge about things to do nearby. He even sent us links to these spots. It was so quiet and safe feeling that it’s been the only time we’ve slept with only our screen doors closed. When we had a truck issue and didn’t know if we’d be able to leave on time he offered that we could stay as long as needed. Fortunate the issue was resolved and we left by about 2:30. Ellen was lovely and very friendly as well. An excellent place to boondock.

Nice large grass area in a very nice area. Privacy fence surrounds the area. Feels very safe. Quiet. A couple other trailers spread around the perimeter of this large area so no crowding. Nice host!

Beautiful well kept property. Had another hipcampers stay at the same time and our pups had such a fun time playing in the yard! The neighborhood felt safe and there was a lovely trail right up the road. Easy access for bigger rigs and so close to downtown.
