Located on the Eastern Continental Divide at the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Long range mountains views and flowing creeks on 13 beautiful acres of open pastures and woodlands. Cumberland Knob just minutes and nearby to the New River and Stone Mountain State Park. Hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, site seeing, or just relax surrounded by nature, peace, and serenity. NOTE: Our property has been offline for awhile due to personal schedule demands and then hurriance restoration; so there are no recent reviews as the property has just recently become available again.13 beautiful acres, private and unique property just off the Blue Ridge Parkway between mile markers 220 and 221 (but must exit at Hwy 18 to Sparta due to parkway reconstruction! The Blue Ridge Parkway is now reopened going north all the way. This RV spot sits on a small creek, property has multiple creeks, and a large common patio with fire pit that sits creeks side. Our creeks are "spring fed". Deer abound, along with Monarch Butterflies and Hummingbirds. You can get plenty of exercise right on the property, or advanced trails nearby. Beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains atop a gentle sloping hill. There is nearly immediate access to the magnificent Blue Ridge Parkway. This particular RV site has a great view of most of the property, with full hook-ups, water, electric, septic. Usually a cell signal can connect in certain areas of the property.

Blue Ridge Parkway LOVELY RV Spot
We would like to thank Jim and Susan for a great anniversary weekend getaway. They were welcoming and gracious hosts; helpful with local information. They met us as soon as we arrived and help with getting us backed in and setup. The gravel site is close to all the hookups that makes it very convenient. It was a very peaceful atmosphere and made for a relaxing weekend. We look forward to our next stay.

Blue Ridge Parkway LOVELY RV Spot
Susan's camp was great! The sites were very well maintained with a nice creek to hear the water running. Jim brought us farm fresh eggs for breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed. This was a wonderful place and we will definitely be staying again.

Blue Ridge Mountains RV Spot
Our daughter absolutely loved playing in the creek at this property and the patio was the perfect place for us to relax while keeping an eye on her. Susan and Jim were excellent hosts and made us feel at home. The outdoor movie theater was an added bonus! Great views from the top of the hill as well and Dollar General is super close if you need to grab a few things. We have already booked a return trip.

Blue Ridge Mountains RV Spot
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here in our campervan for a weekend. Hosts, Jim & Susan, have created a wonderfully unique space. Upon arrival, we were greeted with big smiles & a plate of homemade cookies, then given a brief tour of the amenities/hookups & all the neat things the property offers, followed by some great conversations. Everything we needed was easily available & worked well (e.g. electric, water, wifi). Aside from the wildlife & very little road noise, there's plenty of privacy & quiet. The place is conveniently located right off of the BRP between two entrances. Galax, VA & Sparta, NC are both a short drive away. It's perfect for families, as you could easily spend some days on the property & other days exploring the area. We didn't have any with us but I imagine kids would love this place. We especially enjoyed catching the sunset from the top of the hill, a personal highlight. There is some religious (Christian) imagery around that's impossible to miss. If that offends you, this may not be for you but I sincerely hope you can see past it. We're secular humanists/atheists & were a little apprehensive but upon meeting Jim & Susan any concerns immediately disappeared. There was no evangelizing/proselytizing whatsoever. We received nothing but warm & generous hospitality & fresh eggs! We highly recommend a stay here, whether just passing through or looking for an extended stay. We look forward to stopping by again - even if it's just for a chat with Jim & Susan!
