I think “perfect” is the only way to truly describe this hipcamp. The property is beyond beautiful and Amy and Roy are the most welcoming, friendly people you will ever meet. My girlfriend and I agreed shortly after we left that we both wished to be like Amy and Roy in their genuine kindness and gentle souls. The spot is amazing; quiet, calm, and peaceful; everything we like in a place to camp. After we packed up and left our van ended up breaking down several times on our way to Michigan (eventually developing permanent, unfixable engine issues) and I don't think we could have managed to stay sane would it not have been for the absolutely perfect stay we had at Amy and Roy’s hipcamp. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We loved our time on Amy And Roy’s land! The wind was crazy but the campsite made it easy to set up on flat ground and use my truck as a windbreak. We highly recommend adding dinner and breakfast to your stay if able. It was absolutely some of the most delicious farm fresh meals we’ve had! Very generous portions and so so good. It got fairly cold overnight and Amy and Roy made sure we were comfortable and warm. We even enjoyed the rooster wake up call! Overall this was a great experience and thankful for the opportunity to stay on their land.

This is a cute site with a nice fire pit and outhouse! The hosts could not have been kinder! We arrived around 9pm and we were still greeted in person with a very thoughtful gift back with delicious treats!

We stopped at Amy and Roys for one night on our way through New York and had a wonderful stay. Their property is beautiful and our two young children loved all of their animals. Amy, Roy and their entire family were so welcoming. They gave us a lovey welcome basket with local and homemade goodies. We also opted for breakfast which was such a treat. Not only was it delicious but we were able to have a great conversation with them. We definitely recommend this stop to others.

This place really stood out, the host family was incredibly friendly and personable; the kind of people who restore your faith in humanity. The site was clean, privy was spotless, grass cut, level lot. There was just an incredible sense of wholesomness to it all.
Waking up to the sound of roosters, having a hand-delivered hot carafe of fresh coffee, followed by a wonderful farm fresh breakfast! (You must get the breakfast addon.)
If you are passing through this area and need a place to stop, I would highly recommend.

Amy and Roy were really delightful hosts. Their place is lovely and their family and dogs and cats made our stay special. We chose to have breakfast and it was great and so nice to not have to fire up the campstove in the morning. This was a last minute stop for us but it was a wonderful unexpected experience.

Amy and Roy were fabulous hosts! They were friendly, warm and respectful of our space. The camp spot was beautiful, nestled between some trees with the right amount of privacy, right between the road and their home. The outhouse was incredibly clean and quite pleasant to use! And the coffee in the morning was delicious :) We would definitely highly recommend Pleasant Pastures and will return again soon.

Loved our stay with Amy and Roy would defiantly go back ! We stayed for one night while attending a concert at Darien Lake. Easy to find great, parking options, peaceful and quiet and a beautiful garden! There hospitality was wonderful! They provided us with a little goodie bag of baked good and left coffee for us on the porch in the morning

Peaceful time on a farm and time with Amy and Roy. A wonderful tastes of rural New York just over an hour down the road from Niagra Falls great way to cap of a day. Their optional breakfast on the porch starts off the day with pure joy.

Amy and Roy are gracious and welcoming, and I'm grateful this was the first stop on my road trip. Recommend that you add the breakfast option to your stay, and ask them to join you! The site is flat and accessible, and quiet throughout the night. Roosters will be your alarm clock. If you're not comfortable with backing up a travel trailer (thankfully I am) I suggest you don't pull into the driveway further than getting off the main road for easiest pull-through access. Walk down to the house and they will tell you best area to park. The welcome bag with fresh-from-the-oven brownies was a sweet bonus. I hope to stay there again.

Enjoyed a very relaxing night at Amy and Roy’s farm while passing through on our way to Canada. This place is so peaceful and we enjoyed a lovely sunset. We partook in the breakfast that’s on offer and enjoyed chatting with all the family and hearing about life on the farm. The family is so welcoming and hospitable and we thoroughly enjoyed our welcome bag. Would certainly recommend this place if your travels take you this way. Thank you again!

Lovely host family! My location was next to a nice big tree and the ground was pretty flat for my tent. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for me, but it was still a really nice place to stay and I would go back again. You should be aware that this is a working farm and there are turkeys penned near the campsite. They were surprisingly very quiet! The only thing that I might mention is there is not a picnic table there, but fortunately I have a folding table so take was fine. And one final note, their daughter makes amazing brownies!😄

First Hipcamp experience

This was my first Hipcamp experience and I would stay at Peaceful Pastures Farm again if I were passing through. I opted for their roomy canvas tent for myself and my dad as we traveled from Ohio to Rhode Island. Amy and Roy were out but their son took great care of us. He greeted us as we pulled in and made sure we were set. The tent was already set up for us and a thoughtful goody bag from our hosts was waiting with delicious homemade brownies, chocolates, coffee, tea, and a painted rock memento. Noah brought some French press coffee and hot tea early in the morning for us to get back on the road. This first Hipcamp experience was very positive. The owners were very quick with text responses and took great care of us. Highly recommended!

Where to begin? Amy & Roy and their kids are phenomenal hosts. We took advantage of the chicken BBQ and homemade breakfasts, and it was like having all of the benefits of a high-quality B&B with the private retreat of our campsite. We adored watching the animals, both wild and livestock, and learning about what it takes to make a small farm run. We will certainly be back!

Amy, Roy and their kids are wonderful hosts. We were greeted with a lovely gift bag, such a special and thoughtful treat! The site was nice and level, in between the hosts home and the fun chicken coop. We enjoyed a fire in the nice firepit. We also enjoyed the outhouse, truly the nicest one we've encountered! We were just passing through, so couldn't stay for breakfast on the porch - our loss, for sure. Thank you Amy & Roy for sharing your farm, we had a lovely stay!
