I wanted a cabin in the woods forever and my boys built me this awesome cabin! Drive down in good weather (SUV), walk or snowshoe in winter, about 3-400 yards. Beautiful, DRY {No running water}, no electricity cabin. Called "Unplugged" for several reasons: No electricity, No internet and most phones don't work! Bring books! 16 x 20 with a loft with stairs. Queen bed in loft and futon downstairs. Has an outhouse. Stocked with basics for cooking on regular size grill, small grill and 2 burner camp stove. Cabin is well insulated, uses a Big Buddy heater for heat in winter.Walk,drive or snowshoe down to cabin, about 3-400 yards. Perfect getaway with friends

Lorraine's cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends! Very secluded and wonderfully quiet other than the wildlife. Even when it rained it didn't ruin our trip, we just sat on the enclosed back porch to play games. Lorraine was welcoming and accommodating to make sure we had a pleasant weekend...we will be coming back!

We loved staying at Lorraine’s cabin. The screened on porch was an amazing spot to hang out and play games. The swing chair was so relaxing! There were lots of amenities inside including cookware, games, and things like that. The toilet was really nice and clean. Bring lots of bug spray and check for ticks!

Best night sleeps ever

This is my second time around at unplugged this time celebrating my birthday. Lorraine left me homemade jelly and a cute little birthday banner to welcome me to my stay. The bed is amazing!!! It's exactly what I needed to head into the next year of life. Hope to make it a yearly birthday tradition.

We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. It was everything we needed and more to disconnect for the night. That was the most restful night sleep I’ve had in a while and the bed is so comfy. Lorraine was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Beautiful mountain view on the walk from the car. Very private and had everything we needed. Fantastic area with hiking and food options galore!
