Welcoming camp experience in the Las Vegas area. Private RV spot tucked away on a large lot in a quiet neighborhood, yet only 15 minutes to the downtown Fremont Street Experience, and about 25 minutes to the large strip properties like Caesars Palace and MGM. Las Vegas has a lot to offer, but we have you covered with the RV spot. We are in the NW valley with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. When the sun goes down over the Spring Mountains and Mount Charleston beautiful colors illuminate evening clouds. We are in somewhat of a rural area, so you might see bats in the evening, and bunnies in the morning. We have even seen coyote, owl, and of course lots of geese flying between golf courses in the morning during many months of the year. We are away from the city lights, so nighttime can be quite dark, but the moon can be a spectacular site in the night sky. Red Rock Canyon is 16 miles away. Many of our guests enjoy the scenic beauty or climbing opportunities in Red Rock. Nevada's newest state park, Ice Age Fossils State Park, is just a few miles away and offers a glimpse into prehistoric time in the region. If you enjoy ziplining then check out Slotzilla at Fremont Street or on the Las Vegas strip at the LINQ. Our Hipcamp comes equipped with water, electrical service (both 30amp and 50amp), and a sewer connection.

Las Vegas has a lot to offer, but we have you covered with the RV spot. We are in the NW valley with wonderful views of surrounding mountains. We are in a somewhat rural area, so you might see bats in the evening, and bunnies in the morning. We have seen coyote, owls, and of course lots of geese flying between golf courses. We are away from the city lights, so nighttime can be dark, but the moon can be a spectacular site.  The RV spot is flat with off street parking. We can accommodate up to 45 feet in length, and the RV spot is wide enough slide-outs should not be a problem.

We loved camping at Mom’s RV Spot! The entire site was incredibly clean, well-kept, and spacious. Having a pull-through site and a solid concrete pad made parking and our setup completely effortless. Beautiful fig trees added a wonderful touch of nature and charm to the space. Because the site is tucked away from the main hustle and bustle, it offered incredible peace and quiet. It is also great for families, providing plenty of open space for the kids to run around and play. Our host, Leo was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. He went out of his way to prepare a campfire for us and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better host or a more relaxing getaway, and we will definitely be back!

Leo's Lovely Oasis Outside Las Vega

All along, Leo communicated with us promptly and thoroughly, and he remained open to further questions about our stay at Mom's RV Spot. That's a big help when traveling to new places! Leo greeted us as we pulled into the property, which was very reassuring, and he helped us settle into our space. Leo had meticulously groomed the sand to be very attractive, and there were full hook-ups available! After we got settled in, he generously offered us some vegetables and fruits from his gardens. Throughout our stay, we engaged in friendly conversation with Leo. He is a kind man with a great sense of wit and wisdom. The property itself is spacious and well-maintained! There are several different types of trees, shrubs, and flowering plants to enhance the view. The space itself has a large concrete patio and wooden picnic table, plus a well-stocked fire pit to use when appropriate. Another surprising aspect of the property is that it was so quiet! You'd think that it would loud being next to Las Vegas, but that is not the case. Instead, we got to enjoy the occasional sound of nightbirds! The neighborhood is also spacious and quiet, and, just for perspective, we were there on a Friday night! Finally, Leo is consistently working to improve his Hipcamp property.

Leo was very generous with his knowledge of the area, his garden produce and his time. We had a great visit just outside of Las Vegas. The place was very tidy and even had a sewer hook up.

The place was quiet and clean, had all the hookups we needed for the one night stay. Leo greeted us in the morning since we arrived late. Nice place to stay for the night on our trip from LA to Utah. Space was big enough for us, groomed, and flat. Firewood included but we did not have a fire that night.

Leo’s land was perfect for our last night after a long two weeks of dispersed camping. There was a fire pre-made just waiting to be lit, and Leo offered us coffee and hot chocolate the following morning. Leo was easy to talk to, and gave us some great recommendations for a future trip! We will highly recommend this spot to everyone we know traveling to the area.

We had a great stay at Leo’s place. He was a wonderful host! The spot was very large, well maintained and level with easy access to all hookups. Leo had a fire pit with all of the wood for fires throughout our stay, it was a great touch. Leo has chickens on his property and allowed our children to go over each day and help to feed and care for them, it really made the kids feel special and was such a great experience for them. We would absolutely recommend anyone to go and stay with Leo while in Vegas. Thank you for everything Leo!!

We stayed here for 10 days with our class A RV and had a great experience! The site was private, peaceful, and really well kept. Full hookups worked perfectly, and you can tell Leo takes pride in keeping everything nice and tidy! Site was spacious and had everything we needed! Leo was awesome- super friendly, easy to talk to, and always happy to help with anything we needed! Felt like we were staying at a friends and we were super comfortable! We loved meeting Mackenzie the tiny yorkie and of course my favorite, the chickens! If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful site don’t hesitate to book here at Mom’s RV Spot.

Leo’s land is very convenient located inside the city while also as quiet as in countryside. and the campsite is very sizable. Leo is very friendly and a generous host. We enjoyed the setting for firepit and the free firewood very much.

Leo's spot was great for our overnight stay. It was easy to get to and our spot was nicely arranged with a firepit and log seats to enjoy the evening. Leo is super friendly and welcoming ... made us feel right at home. We would definitely return. It would be a perfect quiet home base from which to explore the Las Vegas night life. Leo is super responsive and checked on me. He already had a fire built. The lot was perfectly cleaned and raked. The full hookup was better than most top notch Rv parks. Perfect for dogs on your roadtrip because it’s fenced it. Book this place for a awesome relaxing stay, your only 24 minute drive from the Strip.

This was my second stay at Mom’s and I love it!! It is serene and quiet, super clean, and great amenities. Leo prepared some wood for a fire and made sure I had everything I needed. Will definitely book again when in Vegas!

Leo’s campsite was everything we hoped for and more! The site itself was quiet, peaceful, and had full hookups—which made our stay incredibly comfortable. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was Leo’s hospitality. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and it was clear he genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. His site has such a warm, personable feel to it—you can tell a lot of heart went into creating it. We can’t recommend this spot enough and will definitely be back!
