Campers have access to 200+ acres including an 18-hole disc golf course and many trails, including North Country National Scenic Trail which passes through the property. Active agricultural projects include an orchard, vineyard and shitake garden. Immerse yourself in the beauty of our hardwood forests, witness stunning fall colors and marvel at the abundant wildlife that calls this area home. Choose from 25 drive-up or 10 walk-in sites with access to potable water, regularly serviced portajons and solar showers. Within five miles, you'll find great restaurants and craft brews, sandy Lake Michigan beaches and the famous Tunnel of Trees. Sunsets paint the western horizon in beautiful displays of magenta and gold; our dark and starry skies are a sight to behold.

It was beautiful honestly! Staying at Blissfest grounds offered a quiet escape from reality. My fiancé and I were stunned at how many stars were visible and the cabin kept us and our big dog very cozy! I've seen a lot of their other reviews talk about how well kept and cleaned the grounds are, and I don't disagree! The bathrooms were pristine, the cabin was clean as well. There were just a lot of things scattered around! When they say "leave things better than you found them," they aren't joking. Walking through the woods we found multiple beer cans, stray shoes, old starbucks cups, and broken glass. We picked up what we could hold and put it in our trash bag, but it was very apparent these things had been there a while. It's to be expected, though, at the grounds of a music festival! I don't mean to sound like a complainer, I just wish someone else would have left a truthful review like this so I could have been more careful walking around with my dog! I don't want any pups stepping on broken glass 🥰 Otherwise, it was absolutely stunning and such an amazing short stay. Already looking into Blissfest tickets and hoping to get back up north soon!

This place has exceed our expectations so much that we've extended our stay multiple times! The portable toilets are well maintained, the flushable toilets are super nice and the showers are solar and close to camp. When we arrived our first night it was late and we had an issue with our reservation gping through but the owner was responsive and HipCamp fixed the issue immediately at 11 pm on a friday night. Can't day enough good things about this experience.

The grounds at Blissfest are expansive. It is very quiet and very dark. There was only one campsite occupied while I stayed in the cabin. The cabin was rustic but the berths had decent mattresses, I could charge devices and there were electric lights, a table with 3 chairs plus a counter top height surface to be put stuff on. Multiple clothing hooks were present on the walls. I really appreciated the modern bathrooms with flush toilets. The solar showers were a bust. The water was cold! The campground cat named Disco was super affectionate and kept me company.

This is a quiet and remote feeling place with plenty of room to roam around. The essentials are here (bathroom, internet). I car camped overnight only on the way to Traverse City so didn't explore much, but the trails looked cool! It was super windy the night I was there. The tent campers nearby left in the middle of the night and my hypothesis is that's why. So maybe check the weather forecast if you're in a tent. In my car... it was perfect!

Really enjoyed camping and star gazing on the property! We were lucky enough for clear skies for beautiful views of the meteor shower. So much nature surrounding and lakes to fish in we found so many great places to explore with very few other people around. Lots of wild life! There were only a few other campers when we went so it was nice although if it was more I think it would’ve been a bit crowded as there is no separation between sites. Didn’t interact with the host at all, but everything was very clear and we had no questions. The big house with restrooms and WiFi was super nice and not too far a walk. Would stay again! Make sure u stock up on what u need before you get in as it is pretty remote and far away from supplies.

We had a wonderful time camping on the festival grounds. There is a solar shower, and flushing toilet if needed. The port-a-potties were kept clean. The night sky is unbelievable. We traveled all the way up from Grand Rapids, and it was well worth the drive.

Stayed two nights for my pre-BlissFest volunteer work. Something about this place just ‘grounds’ you, and you feel it. Honestly slept the best two nights in a row that I’ve had in forever. Sunsets are amazing, as every site has unobstructed view to the west. Will be booking again for another weekend this summer, aside from BlissFest.

Can’t say enough good things about Blissfest! There is magic all around! Such a peaceful location with beautiful trails and scenery! So many corners to explore and the DGC was awesome too! Even though the weather wasn’t the best, we still had an amazing time with our dogs. They LOVED it. The workers were also so helpful and kind and when we had questions we received quick responses through the message function on the app. We will definitely be returning soon!

A quiet day in paradise. Campsites are very large with fire pit and a bin of free wood is provided on site between the solar showers and portapots. So much beautiful land to walk and explore. If you like a crowd this is not for you. Most times I have been here, there were less than a handful of campers.
