1. Gail was a great host, very informative and helpful.
2. If you have a big rig, (motorhone 43' / trailer 23+ ') plan on doing some tricky driving to get in.
3. Once in things we're great. She parked me on gravel, so I did not have to worry about digging in.
4. Yes, I would use this place again in the future. Maybe even next year's Indy 500.
5. I camped ,stand alone for 4 days with no issues.
6. Most of the stuff I did was in Indianapolis so I did not have a chance to do local things around the campsite.
7. Setting is beautiful outdoors with plenty space for any camping activities.
8. The only challenge was getting to the site and once I found it I found an easy route making it easy for the rest of the trip.
I would love to spend more time and see more here.

Gail was absolutely delightful! There is plenty of space in her yard and she was such a wonderful host. When she realized we were near another tent with dogs (it was a full house because of the eclipse) she moved us to a wonderful private spot so the dogs could hang out I disturbed. Truly one of the most delightful stays I’ve had! Her whole family was kind and welcoming and so accommodating. Highly recommend!

I loved tent camping here! Gail and her entire family were very accommodating and such gracious hosts, and they made me feel so welcome. The land itself is perfectly flat, and the sites are spacious. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Gail and Troy were great hosts. They were very welcoming and we loved our site, the other campers were fantastic and the eclipse made for a great trip. I highly recommended staying here.

I am so grateful that I happened upon Gail’s listing, she was so warm and accommodating throughout my stay!
It was the much anticipated total solar eclipse of 2024. A handful of travelers from out of state along with local residents arrived the night before or the day of; meanwhile, Gail made it her mission to create a community for everyone present (even my socially anxious self). I am just as impressed with her ability to remember the names of everyone in her camp including an unusual one like mine! This is a skill I woefully do not possess.
I pitched a tent for some “primitive” style camping, prepared to camp sans amenities, but she made available portable bathroom facilities, running water by request, access to electrical outlets, and a spacious communal campfire. Some campers brought their own portable fire pits and though I didn’t have the foresight, I still doubt I’d have been tempted to use one of my own.
This open area accented by the trees and wildlife made for the perfect viewing experience of the eclipse. The accompaniment of the friendliest dogs in their cozy fenced-in backyard was just the cherry on top of the celestial sundae. To have found this place mere hours beforehand made my impulsive early trek from Wisconsin entirely worth it! What a memorable and victorious finale to a tumultuous chapter of my life. If I am ever in the area I will be returning here for some healing solitude away from the city. I have no notes, 10/10.

The host was wonderful. She communicated with us ahead of our arrival, and greeted us when we arrived. She even provided us with a sun canopy which we were very grateful for.
The campsite is in a fairly quiet rural area, with farmland around and a few other houses nearby. The site is essentially just in an large open yard behind the host's house, so this is not like camping in the woods, but works well as a stop-over location when passing through the area.

What can I say but wow!! We had the absolute best time and stay. Gail and Troy are wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We camp a ton but I had never used HipCamp before but we last minute decided to try to see the eclipse. I was a bit worried but the minute we got to their property they made us feel welcomed and truly like family. The farm was clean and sites nice and big and open. They even had porta potties for us (and they were super clean)!! Seriously do not hesitate to make a stop at All Star Acres You will not be disappointed!!

I came for the eclipse and tent camping. This site is situated on the family property. Site 5 is in line of sight of the house, the county road, and a neighboring barn and field. The winery and a great brewery are a very easy drive. Just a little farther down the road is Franklin IN with great restaurants, shopping, and a park with an amphitheater. Gail, our host, was so kind - checking in often to ensure we had everything needed. Nights were quiet and calm. Overall the experience was awesome!! I will definitely be back.
