This is a great spot to camp if you are near Sandpoint. The owners have gone above and beyond to make it comfortable. It is clean, there is a water spigot, picnic tables, fire pit and wood available. We were the only ones there so it was very private but even if the second site was occupied it would be good. Bonus for the wild turkey crossing on the way out!

Its a very quiet peaceful campground with super cool wildlife. Im from this area 50 plus years and i saw and heard critters id never heard or saw before ! It reminds me of north idaho of the past .

Very clean ,cozy and quiet . Plenty of shade . They have clean running water. Sink area . Garbage and clean restroom ( outhouse) . Friendly folks . And close to sdpt and sagle . I highly recommend .

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Woods in Sagel, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Nestled in the breathtaking wilderness near Sandpoint, Idaho, this place is a hidden gem that truly exceeds expectations.
From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how impeccably clean everything was. The property was pristine, making it evident that the hosts take great pride in their space. The level area provided easy parking , and I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful amenities, including a motion sensor light in the portent added a touch of convenience during the night..
Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, the cute trails winding around the property made for delightful explorations. Whether I was strolling through the woods or enjoying a quiet moment at the fire pit, the serene atmosphere was simply enchanting. The hosts had even provided firewood, making it easy to cozy up under the stars.
The picnic table was another fantastic touch, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors while soaking in the picturesque views.
What truly made my stay unforgettable were the amazing hosts. Their warmth and hospitality were evident from the start, and they went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable experience. I will definitely be recommending this spot along with returning again.
Overall, The Woods in Sahel is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature while enjoying top-notch accommodations.

Turkey Run Campsite
We stopped at Randall and Carol's place for a one-night stay during a road trip and had a wonderful experience. They were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts who made us feel safe and at home. The property features beautiful scenery and great walking trails, which our dogs loved exploring after a long drive. We also really appreciated that they provided firewood and fire starters for an optional donation. It was a genuinely great stay all around, and we would highly recommend this spot to anyone passing through.

It was such a great place to stay. Carol and Randall were both so friendly and accommodating. Randall chatted me up about my motorcycle trip and hooked me up with a nice piece of wood for my kickstand. Such a nice place to stay. Highly recommend.
Such a special place to camp out, it was exactly what we were looking for. We can't wait to visit again, hopefully soon. Such great host's as well. Thank you both!
Carol and Randall’s location is perfect! Close to downtown Sandpoint but in the woods with wonderful night time sounds and stars. Camp spot is level, clean and relaxing. I would go back for sure!

This spot was awesome! We loved it. Definitely quiet and clean. The water bucket and fire starters were a nice added bonus. There’s running water available to use just a few steps away and a very clean portable toilet. Randall came to check on us and to introduce himself the second day and tell us a little more about the property. We went walking on the trails and later drove the 12 minutes to the lake to go swimming. You could hear the train in the distance at night but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time there. Would definitely go back!

We had another wonderful time. We stayed up there last year and we wanted to go up there again because we really enjoyed it. Thank you. I would recommend staying there. It was really fun and peaceful and the host were wonderful.

Carol and Randall have created a really lovely space in the back of their property. You’re perched up in the trees with lots of wildlife, and I enjoyed listening to the owl hoot. They were flexible and kind and helped accommodate me when I had a change of plans. I would recommend this spot easily!

Randall and Carol run a fantastic campsite! They're kind and courteous, and very helpful. They even brought fire starter and a bucket of water for safety! Although the sites are just past the main residence, they're uphill and the house is only slightly visible through the foliage, giving a real sense of privacy. The two sites are relatively close together yet separated with a privacy fence, so they'd make an excellent choice for larger groups needing a larger area. There are several private trails beyond the campsites for exploration, and the view of the stars is exquisite. Be aware that there is a train crossing roughly a mile up the road, but it only went by a few times and was gone quickly. The portable rest room was pristine, and the dish washing station was a nice bonus. Excellent value for the price, and within a 10 minute drive of the Sandpoint city beach, which is one of the nicest local beaches around. My family will be staying again!

The Woods in Sagle is such a beautiful and well cared for property! I’ve tent camped here three times now and will keep coming back. The sites are pristine and the property well thought out. Carol and Randall put so much care into their property and sites, but also into making sure their guests are comfortable and have all that they need. The sites are gravel and level. There is a fire pit built recessed into the ground for easy and safe fires, wood and fire starters available on site, and buckets and water for safe fire extermination at the end of the night. There are also picnic tables in pristine condition, a grey water dump area, a fresh water spigot, and the cleanest port-o-potty you’ll ever use. My husband and I just stayed for 3 nights during a constant downpour of rain and Carol and Randall messaged and checked in to make sure we had all we needed to be comfortable, even offering us to move our tent under cover from the storm if we wanted. You can tell they really care about their guests and their property and it makes me want to keep coming back. Plus it is super close to the beaches and Sandpoint and backs up to hiking trails and forest. You’ll love it here!
Everything was top notch and well maintained. Could not ask for a better night's stay. Host super friendly.

Good communications for a last-minute booking. Easy to find. Site is gravel, flat. Surroundings are forest...spotted a deer on a trail shortly after arriving. It doesn't take much to up-scale a Johnny-on-the-spot - level, clean with a light that comes on when you enter is appreciated.
