It was such a great place to stay. Carol and Randall were both so friendly and accommodating. Randall chatted me up about my motorcycle trip and hooked me up with a nice piece of wood for my kickstand. Such a nice place to stay. Highly recommend.

Carol and Randall’s location is perfect! Close to downtown Sandpoint but in the woods with wonderful night time sounds and stars. Camp spot is level, clean and relaxing. I would go back for sure!

This spot was awesome! We loved it. Definitely quiet and clean. The water bucket and fire starters were a nice added bonus. There’s running water available to use just a few steps away and a very clean portable toilet. Randall came to check on us and to introduce himself the second day and tell us a little more about the property. We went walking on the trails and later drove the 12 minutes to the lake to go swimming. You could hear the train in the distance at night but that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time there. Would definitely go back!

We had another wonderful time. We stayed up there last year and we wanted to go up there again because we really enjoyed it. Thank you. I would recommend staying there. It was really fun and peaceful and the host were wonderful.

Carol and Randall have created a really lovely space in the back of their property. You’re perched up in the trees with lots of wildlife, and I enjoyed listening to the owl hoot. They were flexible and kind and helped accommodate me when I had a change of plans. I would recommend this spot easily!

Randall and Carol run a fantastic campsite! They're kind and courteous, and very helpful. They even brought fire starter and a bucket of water for safety! Although the sites are just past the main residence, they're uphill and the house is only slightly visible through the foliage, giving a real sense of privacy. The two sites are relatively close together yet separated with a privacy fence, so they'd make an excellent choice for larger groups needing a larger area. There are several private trails beyond the campsites for exploration, and the view of the stars is exquisite. Be aware that there is a train crossing roughly a mile up the road, but it only went by a few times and was gone quickly. The portable rest room was pristine, and the dish washing station was a nice bonus. Excellent value for the price, and within a 10 minute drive of the Sandpoint city beach, which is one of the nicest local beaches around. My family will be staying again!

The Woods in Sagle is such a beautiful and well cared for property! I’ve tent camped here three times now and will keep coming back. The sites are pristine and the property well thought out. Carol and Randall put so much care into their property and sites, but also into making sure their guests are comfortable and have all that they need. The sites are gravel and level. There is a fire pit built recessed into the ground for easy and safe fires, wood and fire starters available on site, and buckets and water for safe fire extermination at the end of the night. There are also picnic tables in pristine condition, a grey water dump area, a fresh water spigot, and the cleanest port-o-potty you’ll ever use. My husband and I just stayed for 3 nights during a constant downpour of rain and Carol and Randall messaged and checked in to make sure we had all we needed to be comfortable, even offering us to move our tent under cover from the storm if we wanted. You can tell they really care about their guests and their property and it makes me want to keep coming back. Plus it is super close to the beaches and Sandpoint and backs up to hiking trails and forest. You’ll love it here!

Good communications for a last-minute booking. Easy to find. Site is gravel, flat. Surroundings are forest...spotted a deer on a trail shortly after arriving. It doesn't take much to up-scale a Johnny-on-the-spot - level, clean with a light that comes on when you enter is appreciated.

Exactly what we were expecting. Perfect stay for a vacation at Silverwood (~20 minute drive). Large, level site covered in pea gravel to keep clean and dry. Plenty of firewood available, potable water from a tap, and the cleanest porta-potty ever.

Quiet and secluded site in the trees with picnic table and fire pit. Very communicative hosts. Port-a-potty on site as well but didn't use. Drive into site between houses but they are far enough away to not be an issue. Would stay again! Thank you.

Carol and Randall's place was wonderful for us. Directions to the place we well laid out, and it was a beautiful spot. We were there because it was close to Silverwood, however, this could be a destination spot as there were trails, a nice view of the sky from the campsite, and relatively close to water.
There is another site right beside this one, so quiet hours are in place.
I would recommend making sure arrival was during the day if you have a pull behind camper. We arrived at dark, and made it work-- Carol and Randall were VERY accommodating and gave us options if we were unable to park our camper on the spot in the dark.

We enjoyed our stay in Sagle. The property was nice and quiet. The site was bigger than it looked in the pictures with updated fire pits and lots of shade. A must stay if you are in the area and want something quieter than a large campground.
