Zen preserved land near the beach, secluded from all outer distractions. 2 Miles from Biscayne National Park where there are beaches, you can easily bike to these amazing destinations. A great rest stop for your journey to the Keys or north to Miami. We soon will offer snorkeling, biking, hiking, yoga and mud baths. Our restaurant will be open soon as well.

Nice zen spot to relax. Beautiful scenery & wildlife.  2.3 miles from ocean and beach access at Biscayne National Park. Easy access to Miami and very close to the Keys. IMPORTANT : Very little tree coverage. During peak day hours primarily during summer, highly recommend having a form of shade. Ideally during the day we recommend having activities planned outside of campsite around Miami. As of right now we have an active nature trail but beyond that its just a campsite with nice scenery. Summer is also rainy season, occasionally campsites 5 & 6 may be wet due to rain. other seasons (not rainy season), campsite is very dry.  CAUTION : To RVs, Camper vans & Cars that enter main camping area and choose to not park on main road, prior to driving, please walk the area you will drive. The ground in some areas is soft AND YOU WILL GET STUCK.   instagram : camp_miami

  • Review summary

    Generated from real Hipcamper reviews

The campsite offers a mix of experiences, praised for its location near Miami and natural beauty, yet feedback frequently mentions the challenging mosquito situation after dark. Visitors appreciate the peaceful, secluded environment and the proximity to attractions like the Keys and Biscayne Bay National Park. However, some guests have faced difficulties with the gate code and noted the lack of amenities. Despite these issues, many find the site an ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas.

    It was okay

The site is decent but I felt it is over priced when compared to my other Hipcamp experiences. In the morning the bugs were not bad. The night time mosquitoes swarms were some of the worst I've ever experienced in my entire life. I spent 54 days traveling to Alaska in June and July of 2025 and did not encounter mosquitoes like this Hipcamp location. In fact, I have camped for years (over 75 nights in 2025) and never experienced mosquitoes this bad. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but only if the price was lower and I had a bug net for my head and long sleeved shirt and pants.

If your looking for the Taj Maha of tent camping in Miami... this is the spot. Honestly; I loved it here... when i left, i waivered staying a few more days.. it was relaxing, it was private for the most part, it was close by to amenities and i enjoyed the backround noise of either the speedway or the jets in the sky. The palm tree corner is most definitely the prettiest spot in the place, but trusting that other hip campers will follow the lead to 5 star each campsite. Its a cool place hot place with shade if you find the right spots. I would camp here again.. and again.. and again.. my dog loved it as well.. straightaway for some good fetch playing. No bathroom tho.. maybe the owner might bless this beauty camp with a bucket and toilet seat in the future. Only downfall of tenting here.
