Camp beneath the towering canopies of a coastal redwood forest on our unique, off-grid property in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our land is filled with magnificent redwoods, ancient logging stumps, and oak trees shaped by years of natural growth and history. It’s a peaceful place to slow down, reconnect with nature. Each campsite has its own picnic table, and guests can enjoy our shared communal BBQ and gas fire pit, perfect for preparing a meal and gathering in the evenings beneath the redwoods. You’ll also find hammocks for relaxing and our handcrafted driftwood outdoor shower with hot water, surrounded by the beauty of the forest. We’re just 15 minutes from Aptos Village, with wonderful restaurants, local wineries, and the beaches of Rio Del Mar nearby. You can enjoy the quiet of the forest while still being close to everything the coast has to offer. We’ve created this space as a place to rest, explore, and experience the natural world up close. Whether you’re here for a quiet getaway, a little adventure, or simply time away from the everyday, we hope you leave feeling refreshed and connected to the land. Make Your Stay Extra Special! Foraging experiences depend on seasonal conditions and availability, so please contact us in advance to arrange a tour. 🔥 Cuban-Inspired Fireside Dinners in Our One-of-a-Kind Greenhouse Kitchen Gather around the table in our one-of-a-kind, handmade greenhouse kitchen, built by us and surrounded by the beauty of the redwoods. Enjoy a home-cooked, family-style meal inspired by our Cuban heritage and treasured family recipes. Our four-course dinners feature plant-based options and, when available, locally caught fish. Every meal is prepared by your hosts with care and a love of sharing good food. Dinners require at least one week’s advance notice. Enjoy a peaceful campsite nestled among towering California coastal redwoods on our off-grid property in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Each site offers space to set up camp, relax, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest. Wake up to birdsong, watch for deer and wild turkeys, and take in the natural beauty of the land. Trees and natural landscaping provide shade and a sense of privacy, making this a wonderful place to slow down and reconnect with nature. Your Campsite & Shared Amenities Each campsite has its own picnic table and space to settle in. Guests also have access to our shared communal area, which includes a gas BBQ, a gas fire pit for evening gatherings, and additional picnic tables. A heated outdoor shower and central porta-potty are available for guest use. Please note that the gas fire pit is for gas use only. Wood fires are not permitted. Privacy & Safety Our campsites are situated among the redwoods, with natural landscaping between areas. For everyone's safety, please stay within the designated, marked camping areas. The surrounding property is left natural and may contain poison oak, uneven ground, and other natural hazards. Please do not wander into uncleared areas. Location & Connectivity We’re just 15 minutes from Aptos Village and Rio Del Mar Beach, with local restaurants, wineries, organic markets, and coastal activities nearby. You can enjoy the feeling of being tucked away in the forest while still having easy access to the coast. Cell service is limited and varies by carrier. There is no Wi-Fi, so we recommend downloading directions and anything else you may need before arriving. Think of it as a chance to unplug and enjoy the quiet. Want to Make Your Stay Extra Special? Camp under the redwoods

For my 30th birthday, I decided to celebrate by camping in the redwoods. We found this absolute gem of a site! As soon as we arrived we met Terry & Manny, who are lovely hosts. They showed us around and how to use everything. Our first night was beautiful, we could see and hear all the wildlife around us playing cards by the (propane) fire pit. The next day, unfortunately threw a wrench into our quiet haven on the property. A large group of three families arrived at the other site and parked right next to our tent. All of the babies, adults, and dogs were super loud and inconsiderate- even all the wildlife left the area. The hosts were not there to greet them, so I assume they weren't aware of the time this group was arriving. We packed up our site when we couldn't bear all the noise, which cut my birthday trip short. The hosts were very kind & gracious and did everything they could to make it right with us. This property is STUNNING and Terry & Manny put the cherry on top. We would lovvvee to come back and finally try out the hot outdoor shower and add on the yummy-looking cuban dinner!

Tent camping was so much fun under the trees. There was a lot of shade so if you go on a sunnier summer day, no need to bring a canopy. They were so nice to try to greet our “not so friendly” dog. The area was nice and quiet, some noises from the neighbor’s farm animals and some children playing, but it was not happening for a long time at all. There was lots of private space, with a portapoty and a grill at the common area. Communication was amazing with the hosts and they are very accommodating and welcoming. Will definitely come back again.

The campsites were legit one of the best sites on Hipcamp. A gorgeous plot of land with a bench and a cute common area. The campsites were separate by a good distance and it was really quiet. Absolutely gorgeous and will definitely be back!

The land here was so peaceful and serene. We felt like we were the only ones in the forest, and with just a short drive to the beach we got the best of both worlds, camping and surfing! Upon arrival we were greeted by a family of deer. The forest smells and sounds kept us in a relaxed state all weekend. Terry and Manny were amazing hosts, very down to earth and caring people. We added on the farm-to-table Cuban dinner they offer. This was hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Terry cooked over an open fire and they had a beautiful redwood table (which they made themselves) set for our party. It was liked we stepped into a fine dining restaurant at the top of the forest! We will definitely return. Lovely humans, and lovely space!

Such a cool, secluded spot! The campsite was beautiful, quiet and well kept! A 10 out of 10! I wish we got there in time to enjoy the home cooked meal that they offer. I’ll try that next time!

What a great long weekend! This Hipcamp is tucked into the mountains above Aptos, just 20 minutes from the coast. It’s incredibly peaceful, surrounded by a forest and we were lucky enough to see wild turkeys and a whole family of deer. Apparently there may even be a mountain lion around, although we didn’t see it! Everything was clean and well maintained, with a hot outdoor shower, porta-potty, BBQ, large wooden table, and gas fire pit. The fire pit isn’t exactly a source of heat, but it was nice to have since wood fires aren’t allowed. The hosts are wonderful and give you plenty of privacy while still being nearby if you need anything. We loved it and would definitely come back!
