Caterpillar Cabin

The Secret Gardens is a beautifully planned, coordinated, and unexpected deep dive into the passion, creativity, and imagination of another all shared without words. Every turn reveals something unexpected, with a whimsical Alice in Wonderland meets modern surrealism tone. . The landscaping is incredible, and as an ecologist, one of my favorite parts was seeing how many creative, sustainable building practices were incorporated into the site. Everywhere you look, there’s evidence of Yeyen and Forbod’s wildly creative dreams, attention to detail, and impressive craftsmanship. The photos LITERALLY don’t do it justice.. I highly recommend taking this side quest, will be back for sure.

Highlight of our Road Trip

Exceptional stay! We arrived on July 4th in a 29-foot RV for the final night of our week-long road trip, and it was the perfect finale. The land is absolutely amazing, beautifully laid out with walking paths, multiple scenic levels, and fun hidden features throughout. RV essentials, like water and power, were provided. The giant shared kitchen and wood-fired pizza oven were a massive hit, especially for our kids (ages 4 and 8) who loved making their own pizzas. They also had a blast exploring and getting to brush the llamas! Yeyen and Farbod are the nicest hosts. Highly recommended, we will definitely return!

This is a magical place and the pictures don't do it justice! So much to see and explore and the amenities are great. Yeyen and her husband were lovely hosts. We can't wait to come back with friends and enjoy the communal kitchen and fire pits .

Had a fantastic time. Did not really know what to expect but it definitely exceeded our expectations. We stayed over Fourth of July weekend and they had a live band and a pizza contest and it was so much fun. The hosts are absolutely lovely and kind, the fellow campers were very cool and fun to talk with. There are so many beautiful unique details. It seems the hosts want to delight and surprise and asked that photos aren’t shared so I will keep the photos to myself and let it be a wonderful surprise for those who book. Can’t wait to return.

Tea House Cabin

Lovely site, it was such a treat to visit! It’s clear this place has been a big labor of love. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a community glamping experience that doesn’t stray too far from a hotel feel, but not if you’re looking for a remote/secluded experience. There will be friendly campers, dogs and a lot of activity. Fire pits are regularly stocked and maintained, and there are a ton of cute little nooks and curiosities to discover. Also the communal kitchen is enormous!

My fiance and I loved this property. It was far better than we expected. Beautiful grounds and awesome buildings made of natural materials. It felt like being in Costa Rica or something. The outdoor shower was nice too :) 100/100 would recommend.

What an otherworldly imaginative campground! It's like staying at an amusement park without the chaos. All the plentiful decor and scenery in the park make it worth the stay. The added very comfortable bathrooms and showers outpace any campground I've ever been to before. The management is so warm, kind, and accommodating and the facilities make this a campground you don't even need to take the normal stuff needed for camping in any average grounds. They provide so much including a communal kitchen with an amazing grill, sink, refrigerator, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, etc, and even a smash burger grill (blacktop) which we used. The details in the decor are an amazement in themselves, and overall an amazing place to stay. It's like the Santa Cruz style Ritz Carlton of campgrounds.

We loved tent camping at Secret Gardens. What a magical place full of whimsical art, beautiful plants everywhere and the hosts Yeyen and Farbod’s attention to detail at every corner of their property make camping their a dream. We had a blast at their annual pizza making contest and can't wait to come back next year.

This camp site is pure magic. Very comfortable and safe. There was no end to all of the things to look at and enjoy. The common areas are fully equipped and all of the finest details have been taken into consideration by the wonderful hosts. It was a truly wonderful experience to be here. Absolutely amazing experience! From start to end hosts are super sweet, helpful, and communicative! I’m so happy we came across that place and my friend recommended about it! It’s a beautiful unique spot. I’ve never experienced anything like that in the United States. The fireplaces are just top notch. The community kitchen is super rich with amenities and coffee and such. I would absolutely stay in this place any time. I’m in the area in a heartbeat. They’re helpful sweet they will accommodate whatever you need to suit your needs. I absolutely love secret garden. This is a really unique and unusual surprise. We came across.

King of Hearts Tree House

This is by far one of the most magical and memorable nights on our trip. What Yeyen and Farbod have done together is nothing short of remarkable! Creating a hillside where both privacy or human connection are paramount - and people can camp so comfortably, either in a tent or in a cob cabin nestled into the side of the slope. The attention to detail and craftsmanship of the facilities is astounding. And the owners are lovely and generous. Here, the Gods must be happy!

This is a real gem. The campground is so beautifully nestled on a forested hillside with unique cabins and cozy common seating areas, kitchen restrooms and showers. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly.

Yeyen’s land was AMAZING! It was a last minute rental and I wish we would have had more time there. Yeyen was so sweet and met us as we were coming in even though we got there very late. The whole place was magical, inviting and the most incredible place we have ever stayed! Highly highly recommend staying here (I may just come back simply to stay here!)

The place is special. The campgrounds are inspiring, well maintained, and great for families, with a wonderful balance of modern amenities (like electric plugs) and rustic charm. I appreciated having a tidy, well-leveled suit to pitch my tent, with a beautiful rustic table chairs to sit at. The communal spaces are truly designed to bring people together - the kitchen is well stocked, with fridge space, space for cooking and gathering. There are multiple communal fire pits throughout the site. The gardens are a gorgeous, whimsical world, with meandering trails, surprising art, amazing architectural detail. Yeyen and Farbod were wonderful hosts. There were warm, welcoming, responsive.

The grounds were remarkably well kept and beautifully maintained. Our stay was unfortunately cut short but the host was very accommodating with our situation. If we are back in the area we will be trying to stay again and seeing how the gardens have grown and evolved.

We enjoyed our stay, the grounds are beautiful and well thought out as far as spacing and privacy, the amenities were generous and much appreciated. We are accustomed to much more spartan-level camping, so this was very much a "glamping" experience for us. Peaceful, beautiful, whimsical and relaxing, it was a lovely getaway for us.

This was a last-minute stay, and our expectations were completely exceeded. The host was friendly, responsive, and communicated wonderfully throughout our stay. The property was very clean, gated, and we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. We stayed Sunday night with our 3-year-old and 6-year-old, and they absolutely loved it. Everything felt magical, and the property was beautiful. One night was definitely not enough! We will absolutely be back and will be recommending this place to all of our friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Cheshire Grove

We loved the many hidden treasures spread across the 11 acre property including dahlias, roses, llamas, alpacas, and tiny gardens. The large outdoor kitchen, long tables, and patio were great for group meals. Yeyen and Farbod are incredibly welcoming and warm. Our campsite was tucked away and provided an intimate alcove for the weekend.
