“GET LUCKY“ ! Winter camping available! Now that it’s winter time, we have openings for small RVs, camper vans no hookups. Yosemite is beautiful in the wintertime. Come enjoy the peaceful outdoors in a rustic mountain setting ! But still have all the amenities of town only a couple miles away; grocery store, restaurants, a craft brewery and one of the oldest saloons in California! There’s even a park for the kiddos, a Library and Museum for all ages! The stars are something to see, as you feel like you can just reach up and touch them! We are just getting started so each time you come visit us, you will see and enjoy something new! We are so close to Yosemite @ the big old flat entrance or maybe you would like to see Hetch Hetchy! There is river rafting, mountain biking, swimming and fishing all close by! Lots to do in our area it will be hard to choose! When you’re on the property keep your eye out for shiny rocks, as we are located on an old gold mine who knows you may

Amazing campsite!
Tom and Deb were amazing hosts! We had to last minute find a spot to stay and they were so responsive and helpful. They even set up a fire for us before we arrived. The property is secluded, a great distance from Yosemite and close to the cute little downtown of Groveland! Thanks for the awesome experience!

Such a lovely place to camp! Deborah is so incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt at home right away. Her land is beautiful -- private, but close to town (and Yosemite). We'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

Amazing hosts and property
Tom and Deb were absolutely incredible hosts and the property is perfect. Great spot to camp and explore the local town or on the way to Yosemite. They provided us with endless recommendations on places to see and eat. Will be returning for sure

Golden Sunset and Beyond!
We just had the most amazing weekend at this campsite, only an hour from Yosemite – it's an absolute gem! Far enough to make you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, yet close to town for all your essentials. We journeyed up from Long Beach, CA in early October, and the weather was simply perfect. Crisp mornings and evenings, with mid-70s during the day – couldn't ask for better. Deborah, Tom, and Aaron welcomed us with open arms and were the loveliest hosts. They shared valuable tips and an impressive knowledge of the area's history. Their passion for the place is infectious. Their property is beautiful, and they even have two friendly dogs, Bear and Annie. Our own dog, Chloe, can be a bit shy, but Bear and Annie were gentle and welcoming. The campsite is spacious with a porta-potty and two large jugs of water for general hygiene and dishwashing. They have a communal fire pit that Tom is more than happy to set up. But what sets this hipcamp apart is the night sky. Even with a campfire, we had an incredible view of the stars – we saw Orion so clearly. We're definitely coming back for more! A piece of advice for fellow travelers from SoCal: avoid the 49 freeway, as it was quite a frustrating drive. Instead, take the 140 through Yosemite and exit via Big Oak Flat to the 120 freeway. It's a much more enjoyable and scenic route. Can't wait for our next visit!
