This place is so great if you want some amenities but yet feel off grid! I love camping but my girlfriend doesn't and this was the perfect mix! Not to far from town but you definitely feel secluded 10 out of 10 we had a perfect relaxing weekend together

Words can’t begin to describe how amazing this HipCamp experience was for me and my girlfriend. Such a beautiful location with complete privacy and breathtaking views. The cabin was so cool and unique yet provided everything we needed for a comfy stay (and much more!) The property is set up very thoughtfully and the wide open views of the desert were amazing. The deck area with the hot-tub and patio was perfect for relaxing after our desert adventures during our J-Tree vacation. The stargazing was just incredible. This is the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the everyday life stuff while enjoying the amazing desert magic of J-tree. The super quiet surroundings made for such a relaxing and zen vibe. I could go on-and-on but you should just get out there and experience this magical spot for yourself! So grateful to our amazing host for making sure we were comfortable during our stay. Can’t wait till our next visit to the desert and won’t think twice about where to stay 🌵 ✨ 🪐 🙌 ☺️

Cabins on the edge of the desert
We spent five nights at Serena‘s beautiful cabin paradise. If you’re looking for an immersive desert experience, with comfortable beds, lots of privacy, a hot tub, and easy access to Joshua tree National Park, this is your place. We enjoyed the seclusion, the sunrises, and all the thoughtful touches that Serena provided.

I loved Serina’s cabins they were located in a spot that felt like you were alone in the desert with amazing views and the quiet. However it is under 30 minutes to get to 29 Palms and 12 minutes to Joshua Tree town. We loved staying here.

This was an incredible location in Joshua Tree. Really beautiful accommodations and a beautiful place. And Serena couldn't have been more helpful. We even had a small minor emergency. But she was quick to the rescue, way more than we would've expected. Ten out of ten.

Expansive Views, Secluded Space

Beautiful place. Amazing view all day long. For us it was the perfect hybrid- I got to use my teardrop camping trailer and others had running water, showers, hot tub, etc. Feels very remote - we didn’t see or hear any other humans the entire time we were there. Directions to get there are simple and the road manageable for most vehicles. I pulled my 17 ft trailer to the site in 2WD. Longer trailer setups might find it too tight. Comms with the host were clear and quick. I will certainly be back.

Exceptional Host
The host was amazing and super accommodating and communicated quickly. The property is quaint and intimate home. The Jacuzzi under the starts is amazing as is sipping coffee on the porch as the sun comes up.

New Years Get Away!
Perfect little homestead and getaway for some hiking around J Tree. Far enough away to feel like you are secluded but close enough to run into town to grab some dinner if you don't feel like cooking. Would deff book again.

Highly highly recommend this spot! Unlike many postings, this one genuinely feels private/secluded. The cabin/property is exactly as advertised and a really great experience overall! We brought our dog during a winter stay and had no issues!

Peace and quiet.
It's difficult to describe the beauty and serenity of this little piece of paradise. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. There's a deck out front with a commanding view of Joshua Tree's hills and valleys. Not a neighbor to be seen and except for an occasional coyote or helicopter it's silent. There is a hot tub which is welcome addition. The host is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I absolutely will be back!

Serina’s property was wonderful. It was easy to get to but felt very secluded. Hot tub under the stars was sooo relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again.

Stunning from Sunset to sunrise
What a beautiful spot! I don’t know what we enjoyed most, the sunset was absolutely gorgeous, then the stargazing from the hot tub was amazing., but the color of the sky at sunrise… left us just speechless. Thank you for sharing this magical spot with others to experience.

Everything was as described in the Hip Camp app. The host was great providing support and being accessible. We had planned to stay and explore the area but once we arrived we were so content and relaxed we just hung out enjoying the view and the solitude. One of the most relaxing weekends we have had in a long while.

Put The Phone Away & Relax!
Of all the acres in this area, 'WowView' probably is the best location. Cresting the small hill we were immediately struck by how the entire valley spread out just below camp. The view was amazing and it was fun to watch the towns below's lights slowly come to life at dark. This is a great place for launching into the park or just hiking onto the BLM land. Great stargazing including the International Space Station zipping by. Used the hot tub under the coal-black sky. While we didn't find a tortoise, we watched owls hunting, a raptor soaring, desert rodents trying not to be eaten and a sleepy Mohave rattler in the shade on an early morning hike. This camp is a great combination of off road & fully modern. We generally don't return to the same parks twice but it's highly likely we will come back & if we do, will almost certainly stay here!

Exploring Joshua Tree w the Family

1st time in Joshua Tree - Highly recommend staying at WOWVIEW/Privacy/Joshua Tree. Views from the deck made us feel like we were the only ppl for miles, yet we were only 10 mins from downtown! Star gazing was incredible and both cabins were extremely comfortable. Loved cooking on the bbq deck and soaking in the hot tub when the sun went down. Did I mention the outdoor shower!!? A fantastically peaceful base to explore Joshua Tree National Park - Thank you!!

Great, isolated location with a grill, cooking utensils, a hot tub, and a beautiful view - everything needed for a wonderful trip to Joshua Tree. Check in was smooth and Serina was very responsive - she quickly responded to any of our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing experience, felt safe, amazing views super close to the BML land that we love to use we have a Can-Am that we ride from the house to the BML land and trails around makes it even more fun. If you ever interested in selling, please consider us.

We rented both cabins, the cabins seem to be pretty new and built beautifully, the beds are super comfy, the AC worked great and everything was clean. Host was very responsive as well. Will love to come back.

What a dream! This place was an absolutely perfect base camp for a weekend of adventures in Joshua Tree NP. It was so great to have a quiet, comfortable place to start and end the day. It was easy enough to get into town and to the park, and it was worth the little extra driving time to feel like we had a big patch of desert to ourselves. Watched the unobstructed sunrise from the deck in the mornings, wandered up a nearby hill to watch sunset, and enjoyed great stargazing, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Sunsoaked getaway
Very relaxing getaway in the desert landscape! Adorable cabin with lots of amenities available. We loved waking up to a stunning sunrise, followed by a soak in the spa. Took a long walk into the adjacent BLM land and saw our first desert tortoise.

We were so lucky to find this spot - the only really private space without views of other houses that we saw in the entire area around Joshua Tree. The cabin is very nicely done and comfortable. We loved the balcony with BBQ and it was a treat to have a hot tub. Everything felt clean and in great condition.

What a gorgeous spot near Joshua Tree National Park — this made for a great home base as I explored the town of Joshua Tree. Make sure you get tacos at Yum Yum Freeway Tacos, too!!

Review for El Coyote Gulch
We stopped at this site in order to be near Joshua Tree on our way East. About a 20 minute drive from the park’s West entrance, El Coyote Gulch has a stunning view of the desert and amenities that made it very easy for a one night stopover. Rustic, but artsy and extremely well-designed. The house has A/C (thank goodness in the 108 degree day!) and is well-stocked with cooking tools that meet a campers basic needs in style (in some ways better equipped than a Vrbo we just left in Catalina Island! ;) ) The conveniently-located outdoor shower and composting toilet made for a camping feeling. All was clean and well-maintained. Best of all—we slept out on the deck under the most magnificent dome of stars and moonrise we will never forget. Louise was a gracious host—very communicative and patient with all our questions. Highly recommend!

Amazing JT spot completely in natur
An amazing spot high above the desert valley. We LOVED everything about this spot, the cabin and surrounding area. You can literally hike right out the front door with lots of wildlife that comes to your door. Our favorite JT spot so far!

A seriously amazing spot
WOW! Loved this property. You feel like you’re on the moon with no one else around. The cabin is super comfortable and air conditioned and the outdoor shower is so lovely. The deck is spacious enough for yoga and the sunrises are unbelievable.
It gets very dark at night and so I definitely recommend arriving before sunset if you can.
