We moved from the city to this 300 acre ranch in 2013 and have been slowing updating it and adding to the fences, buildings and inhabitants since then. We now have several cows, 7 horses, 3 mini horses, 5 goats, 25 chickens, 4 ducks, 2 many pigs, and 3 donkeys in residence. Learn more about this land: Foothills of the Rockies. A wooded, hilly area which is great for hiking. Bring your horse and enjoy our 300 acres! We have horses, donkeys, cows, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs on the property. Views of the fields beyond and even the Rockies from one hill. Trails are primitive, but the area is very accessible to hiking and horses. Dirt bikes are OK as well, but lots of deadfalls will make it difficult. Winchell Lake is a 5 min drive away. Water Valley Saloon is 10 min away. We have one campsite available for tent and RV/trailer campers. Amenities include a pit toilet, picnic table, 4 chairs, and potable water. Campfires are permitted with fire wood supplied and pets are welcome! This is the perfect place to go if you need to disconnect from the fast-paced world and reconnect with nature, family, or friends.

A perfect place!

We really loved our time on Dana's land. I took my son and my dog out there for a night and we enjoyed the fire, field, stars at night and beautiful morning sunrise. The pit toilet was super clean and we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

We had a great time tenting at the Ranch! So many beautiful animals and a lovely friendly family. The dogs are so kind and all the animals looked so happy and healthy. Would 10/10 recommend!

We enjoyed our time on the farm the large dogs on the farm were very friendly and seeing all the other animals was a treat for our daughter. We espasially liked the solitude we found away from the city

Loved our two nights at Merlin Ranch. Perfect location away from all the hustle and bustle of Banff and Calgary. Had a good time hanging out with the very friendly dogs and hosts around the fire. Great place to stay.
