Sleep under the stars and the palm trees in a lovely and quiet neighborhood 15 min from the crystal clear water and white sand of world class Gulf Coast beaches. 25 minutes to Caspersen Beach- shark tooth capitol of the world! Myakka State Park with tropical forest hiking trails and biking, and river kayaking opportunities is only a 20 min drive. Local Thursday Farmers Market in Old Towne Englewood is a can't miss. Easy access in and out for most sizes of RV's. Hosts (avid RV'ers themselves) live on site on the main lot and can help with information on what's available in the local area- grocery stores, fuel, RV dump sites, restaurants, etc. RV parking is on the home's second lot- sites are on each side of a .25 acre lot. A 30 amp plug and fresh water hookup is available for each site. Dump site is close by at a local RV resort. Pets allowed but must be on leash at ALL times and pet waste must be immediately picked up and thrown away. Trash disposal is available onsite. For the sake of the neighbors, quiet hours are from 9pm-6am. Need beach supplies? Ask about our beach umbrella, beach chairs, shark tooth sifters, and beach toys- all available for a low daily rental fee. We had a good stay at Serenity in the Tropics. The hosts were very friendly and very approachable when we had questions. We received very good and helpful information upfront and followed their recommended activities during our stay which turned out great. The site was located in a quiet, nice neighbourhood and to back into the site was easily possible. The site was very central for many attractions within the surroundings - we did not manage to see all (we stayed 3 nights).

Incredible Stay!

Josie and Scott are incredible hosts. They provide you with so much information on the area that we didn't even have to ask any questions during our stay. As Airbnb Hosts ourselves, it was so nice to have gracious hosts from HipCamp! 5 Stars all day long!

Very good introduction to HipCamp

This was a quiet, safe place to spend a night while traveling. Josie and her husband were very helpful and welcoming. This was a very good introduction to HipCamping. It was a fair price for the season and location. Very pet friendly!

Very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were lovely and were very informative as to local beaches, ice cream shops, restaurants etc. The site was level and was in a big yard that the kids loved playing abd running around in!! Would definitely stay again!!

Good Hipcam for the beaches

Josie is a fine host. Before arriving you receive a lot of information which is very helpful. She has 2 sites in her backgarden. Quiet neighborhood. Pay attention by driving in on the left space. Bump.

This was such a wonderful and peaceful site to stay at. Upon arrival, Josie was very helpful and detailed with what needed to be done. She was very commutative throughout the booking process and entire stay. We will definitely keep this spot as our go-to place when we travel to this location with our RV.

Quiet retreat

Josie is a perfect host. There to greet you and give any instructions that you may need but also giving privacy. The grounds are easy to access and hook up was super simple. Lots of activities near by and dog friendly too! Thank you!

Beaches and nature trails

This site is just as described, close to beaches and nature preserves. We had a lovely time visiting Cedar Point Environmental Center trails.

Wonderful site and hosts! Very close to the beaches; I enjoyed hiking many of the trails in the area as well. The hosts were super friendly and helpful! I’ll be back!

Quiet relaxation

Central location to several areas. My husband and I were able to leave our rig with 30 amp and water and not have to worry about security while golfing, exploring, and going to beach. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Very peaceful neighborhood.

Great location

Everything as expected. Be careful pulling in... Slight depression... Nothing severe... But if you have a low trailer like me you may want to take it on a angle. The host give very good information as to beaches and the dump site they recommend is spot on... Could not be easier. Highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Perfect Hosts!

This place was perfect. We cancelled a different HipCamp in the area and forfeited a couple hundred dollars because we were very disappointed. This place saved our whole trip when it became the newest listing in the area. We booked for a couple days but extended for a week! This is in quiet neighborhood with easy access to everything. I rode my e-bike to the beaches and the weather was beyond perfect. Snow back home, tank tops here! We took Josie up on her recommendations and never would have went to Caspersan Beach otherwise. It was never on my radar and it was an experience I will never forget. Cell service in the entire area for TMobile was a little spotty at times but our Verizon Hotspot saved a rainy day. The hosts are pure gems with big hearts. I cannot wait to return!

Peaceful stay

Quiet night of sleep, welcoming and helpful hosts. Stayed 2 nights and was given plenty of recommendations on things to do in the nearby area. Enjoyed having electric and water hook up during our stay. Would stay again! Thanks for accommodating us.
