Also it is Great place to camp if you are a MTB rider and are looking to ride Alafia, Balm and Carter. Alafia and Balm are just 30 minutes away and Carter is less than a 10 min drive. We have private bathroom, running water, and now firewood (in seasons) very safe and comfortable. Also we are 20 minutes from Interstate I-4, 45 minutes from Disney world.. Just a few  minutes from shopping center resuraunts and downtown Lakeland, Plant city with many places to shop, eat, movies, walk in the parks or around beautiful lakes to  fish as well as parks to ride bikes or hike. We are located right between Tampa and Orlando if you like the big cities without paying the big prices we would love to meet you. Just come and set up camp and enjoy quietness. We are a Christian family surrounded by our family, so this is perfect for a quite family time, safe and fun area to camp and or just park and spend the night letting your kids play as your passing through.

    Our host Scott welcomed us as we arrived after dark, and showed us to our spot. We had a very peaceful/quiet stay. Having a restroom/flush toilet on site was a bonus! The sites are very close to Alafia/Balm Boyette/Carter Road MTB trails.

    NeeNee’s Nook was just as advertised. The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. The site was clean and well marked and made an easy place for us to camp after riding at Carter Road. Thanks again see you soon!

    This is a beautiful, quiet space, very well maintained. Having a working bathroom is a bonus. The host & family were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return if I go to Lakeland for the weekend again.

    Neenee’s Nook is ideal for those who appreciate both a calm place to rest, and short commutes to the conveniences of town and many diverse, local attractions. Upon our arrival, my husband and I were greeted by our hosts Scott and Jeannine. They kindly gave us a tour of the property, and highlighted all the accessible amenities/facilities. Both Scott and Jeannine are very welcoming, lovely people. We felt well taken care of during our stay. Thank you! During our sojourn at Neenee’s Nook, we opted to set up our dispersed camp near the barn. The camping plot was well-maintained, and, nearby, we had access to potable water and a clean, indoor bathroom facility. The property was open with plenty of space to stretch out and relax, and tall oak trees dotted the landscape. It was very peaceful. Thank you for warm hospitality, Scott and Jeannine! We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with your family at your tranquil Neenee’s Nook.

    I just finished a weekend with my sons Boy Scout troop camping and mountain biking, everyone said they had a great time. The campground has in my opinion enough room to move,the bathroom was clean and served its purpose well.The roads next to the site can be noisy so bring ear plugs. Pastor Scott the owner of the property was very hospitable and very easy going. The Pastors wife has a bunny farm and the boys enjoyed holding the bunnies. I would recommend this camp site if you are in the area to go mountain biking and the troop plans on returning next year.

    This place was amazing. The hosts are great! The land is beautiful and it's quiet.The bathroom is clean and there's plenty of space. They even have the cutest little bunnies. I recommend this spot to everyone! Can't wait to go back!.

    My fiance and I had an amazing time camping on Scott's land. It's so gorgeous. There's a bathroom you can use as well as potable water. Also they had the most cutest bunnies! Will definitely be back soon!

    Nice quiet location , when we arrived we were greeted warmly from both husband and wife ☺️ They gave us a tour of their property , and we’re very friendly . I would definitely recommend to families, and couples. I’ll definitely camp there again .

    A Little Bit of Country In the City

    Scott’s property was just what we needed for a short stay near Circle B bar reserve nature preserve. He has a large farm in a suburban area close to shopping and restaurants. The campsite was level, Sandy, with shade areas if preferred. Clear skies at night for stargazing, we built a fire, and the restroom and water hose was nearby. Scott was extremely friendly and accommodating with a couple special requests. Because it is in a suburban area near a major highway bring headphones or earplugs if you’re bothered by road noise at night. Otherwise, it’s the perfect place for a safe and convenient camp spot.

    Scott and family were gracious hosts. This spot is perfect if you just need a chill place to stay while enjoying all of the mountain bike trails in the general area. Thank you for helping us get settled and the bunny tour!

    Cornbread, chickens, cute dogs (from a distance), and refreshing conversation in these strange times. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend this spot to anyone. Clean bathroom, plenty of space, and lots of southern hospitality.
