Secret Meadow at Hicks Orchard in New York

Absolute seclusion! Come relax at Secret Meadow at Hicks Orchard - the oldest U-Pick apple orchard in New York state. Our 13x16 foot canvas tent is situated at the top of a hill, at the edge of the woods, and is entirely secluded. There is a private meadow and pond, just for you to enjoy. The tent is truly glamorous - equipped with everything you need.
The tent site is a ten minute walk, mostly uphill.
Get ready for total relaxation on this truly peaceful hilltop.
We love hosting dog friends AND we do ask for a cleaning fee. Check the EXTRAS to add that to your reservation. Thank you for understanding.
The site is across the road from Hicks Orchard where you can pick your own apples, blueberries, cherries and more. Wood fired pizza is available on weekends and hard cider tasting are available Wed-Sun. Check the orchard website for events and hours.
There are two ponds that are stocked with fish. You are welcome to fish in either, the lower pond (near the road) has a larger population. Please only catch what you will eat during your stay. Hint, fish for bass when the bull frogs start singing.
For those that are sensitive to scents, we use peppermint essential oil to keep mice away.
