Ask about Leavenworth Oktoberfest transport to and from the Oktoberfest! Stay at a fully-functioning whitewater rafting riverside basecamp! We offer tent camping on-site, as well as group sites. We have a small area, but most of it is shaded and right by the river. Learn more about this land: Come camp near the river at a fully-functional whitewater river rafting basecamp!! Our group-style camping area is ideal for small groups of people or couples. We have a total of 4 spots. Spot #1 is our largest spot, suitable for 4 or 5 two-person or three-person tents. Spot #2 is a bit smaller, ideal for up to 3 medium-sized tents. Spots 3 and 4 are suitable for two small to medium-sized tents. Camp spots are next to each other, so there's not a lot of "wild forest camping" here. We refer to it as urban camping. All spots are level and graveled. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise in the area, as we are near Highway 2. There are also picnic tables in the camping area for all campers to use as well as several hammocks.. Access to the river is very nearby. Weekend camping is limited, and you may occasionally hear the sound of a train whistle. WiFi and a fire pit are included, as well as on-site port-a-potties. Hot outdoor showers are also on-site and available to all rafters and campers. There is a large communal fire pit, but no individual campfire pits; however, the option is to bring a propane stand-alone fire pit. Fires are allowed in April, May, and June; the fire ban starts on July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control and monitored at all times. Our property features potable water, on-site outdoor showers, and a foot-operated hand wash station. Our camping area is somewhat small and does not have grass, but it is graveled. Please be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music at a low to medium volume. Please bring a photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form. Additionally, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you arrive - don't worry, we are likely on the river and will return soon! *** Please message before booking to ensure we are a good match***Come camp near the river at a fully-functional whitewater river rafting basecamp!! Please be ready to be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music to a low-to-medium volume. Rafting, kayaking, and river running are the focus of this business, with the campground a complientary and supplemental enterprise. Small campground is basic, but tidy and essentials (porta-poddy and handfasting station, lighting) are provided. Host was available, affable, helpful, and communicated well. I'd recommend if you have all your campung equipment and your needs are few. Nearby train tracks are busy but were pretty quiet after dark.

It was a cute quirky space. The Porta potty stall was well maintained and clean. P.s. don’t skip the earplugs. The trains give zero F’s about your sleep, safety first.

We stayed with our 2 kids at this location and it was fine. Nice little area but close to freeway and next to rail road tracks which is part of the deal there. It’s a river rafting business with places to put a tent up. It’s noisy but the cost is low. We had good experience with the owner/manager. There is garbage on site and portable toilet.

Excellent Site But Train Is LOUD

The actual camp site is excellent: well-maintained, well-marked, clean, picnic tables, lights, fire pit (when no burn ban), plenty of parking, hammocks, etc. The main drawback is the train horns nearby that are so loud and unable to ignore. Woke us up repeatedly. If you are a very heavy sleeper or will easily fall right back asleep, then absolutely recommend. If you're a light sleeper, this may not be right for you

It felt like I was camping in a junk yard for what I paid. We stayed one night. This was my first time camping in years and was excited but arrived and was disappointed. We set our tent up and the lot was gravel. There was a nice small opening to the River otherwise I would not go back.

We really enjoyed our time here. There was trains on the first night but we did not really notice them the second night. We brought earplugs. The proximity to the river, the fruit stands and Leavenworth made it all worth it. It's a lovely, lively campground. Don was great and was very friendly and helpful.

I loved tent camping on Dons land. It was a great space with lots of places to sit. The communal space meant there was a large firepit that campers could use. They also had a stash of scrap wood to use. The river was close by so it was fun to go down and check it out. Don was a great host and answered any questions that I had. Overall a great experience that I would like to do again.

Wonderful place to stay, I am a heavy sleeper so the train never bothered me while I was there. Plenty of shade on all sights, you will have to follow it through it the day tho. Will go back and will definitely want to do rafting with them as well.

Great spot with easy access to Leavenworth and Wenatchee. We we're visiting to hit some local mountain bike trails. The sites are situated on the edge of a courtyard that doubles as a staging area for the rafting business. Check in was super easy. The staff went above and beyond and helped us out with some bikes that we needed to leave at camp for one of our days there. There's a convenience store and a cafe within walking distance. It was very nice that there's picnic tables/hammocks/chairs around. The hosts also provided scap wood to burn. Thanks!

Although the owner was so kind and helpful, the trains were so loud and came every hour of the night, which truly made made it so impossible for sleeping. Perhaps setting up some sound- proof yurts or little cabins would work better.

I had a great time. I happened to be there when the rafting company was holding their seasonal training. The river guides were a great group of people to hangout with. They made me feel welcome and included. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice little camping spot that has a lot going for it! We enjoyed the hammock spot quite a bit. If you’re camping here, make sure to grab ear plugs, the train and sounds of the road nearby are a bit loud.

Great for Enchantments Thru Hikers

My friends and I stayed here to thru hike the enchantments and it was a great site for that purpose! Everyone else at the other sites were also doing the same. There are picnic tables, string lights, and a porta potty. 30 min drive from Leavenworth and Snow Lakes trailhead. Would recommend! Train does get kinda loud at night so maybe just bring ear plugs.

We loved the birds chirping & the fact that it's right on th river. We booked just a few hours before we arrived & Don was still very accommodating. The place has a huge communal fire pit and plenty of seating, with lots of picnic tables and umbrellas, and shade near the river.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were great too, with lots of picnic tables and places to chill outside. The camp site is close to a major Highway and train-track and therefore does get a lot of traffic noise.

I got stuck in Seattle but easily found the place and my spot and was able to setup when I arrived. Don was super helpful and a good communicator. The shared location is very cute and has picnic tables
