Birch Bay State Park
The perfect blend of healing time in nature and undeniable pleasure of clean toilets and showers.
An idyllic park seemingly created specifically for de-stressing, the spacious campground here adjoins a topaz-blue cove. This 194-acre park boasts 8,255 feet of saltwater shoreline on Birch Bay and 15,000 feet of freshwater shoreline along Terrell Creek.
Check out the interpretive trails to learn more about this rare saltwater and freshwater estuary. North Cascades Mountains and Canadian Gulf Islands are clearly visible from the beautiful rocky shoreline.
Along with hiking, biking, and swimming, it's a popular spot for clamming, crabbing, kayaking, and picnicking. The very well-maintained campground has 147 tent spaces in a forested area.
There are 20 partial hookup campsites for trailers and RVs. Campers appreciate the flush toilets and hot showers, which are seemingly cleaned on a very regular basis. A short w

Thank goodness there are plenty of sites at Birch Bay Campground, the scenery here is too breathtaking to have all to one person! Of the sites available, 147 are standard, 20 water and electric, and two are primitive--just you plus nature.
