Dams formed the reservoir in this state park that's a water lover's paradise. The St. George area receives irrigation and culinary water from the shimmering lake. The 120-feet deep reservoir sustains the stocked rainbow trout and bullhead fish. A boat ramp makes it easy to hit the water and catch fish.
On the north edge of the parking lot, there is DIG Paddlesports. You can pick up a snack or sunscreen. They also rent kayaks, stand-up paddleboard, or a water carpet.
Never been on a paddleboard? No worries! They have instructors to provide you with tips and basic instructions. You can hike or bike the miles of trails surrounding the water.
This small state park offers 24 campsites. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and a private shaded structure. You find clean restrooms and coin-operated showers. Firewood is available for sale, so you can enjoy late-night s'mores!
