Winchester State Park

Calling all trout lovers! Winchester State Park is the place to go in Idaho if you’re looking for great rainbow trout fishing. The state stocks the waters each year, so the odds are in your favor out here. You can also check out the Wolf Education Center, where you’re able to oogle at wolves in a near-natural habitat. Winchester even has some unique camping options on offer, like their deluxe yurt. The yurt rental come complete with bikes and a canoe, so you can zip around the park easily, or take a leisurely paddle around the lake. But, if rustic camping is more your jam, pitch your tent at one of the lovely campsites in the park. These ones don’t come with a complimentary canoe, but they do have excellent views of the lake and of Craig Mountain.
