We bought a school house! Our long-term plan is to build out a full campground on the property, but in the interim we will be offering boondocking. While we are under construction on the outdoor space, the main building that we have converted into a coworking space is available for our guests to use from the hours of 9AM - 6PM.
Unfortunately, we are on old agricultural land so the sites are in the direct sun during the day. Please be aware that it gets hot out here in the summer and take this into consideration when booking your stay with us. Please note that there is only one camping structure allowed per site (one tent, one rv, one van, etc.). Since we are under construction we ask that you use caution when pulling into the lot. Our property is also on a bike trail that connects to 70 miles of (mostly paved) bike trails across the town of Montrose. Please reach out with any questions. We look forward to hosting you!Come set up camp with us and receive mountain views, access to picnic tables, internet, restrooms, a space to get work done, and only two miles down the road from shopping centers and groceries. We are on old agricultural land so the sites are in the direct sun during the day. Please be aware that it gets hot out here in the summer and consider this when booking your stay with us. Spend the day visiting local restaurants and shops on Main Street, or visit Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park and Ridgway State Park which are both located nearby!

Perfect camp spot for work and play
Tent
The Camper's Hub is a pretty rad place. Conveniently located just outside of Montrose and even though it isn't far off the highway it was reasonably quiet at night. Scott and Taylor are wonderful hosts and are working hard to make the place awesome. I especially liked the co-work space. It was perfect for me as a business owner to catch up on work in a comfortable space. I will definitely be back to stay when in the area again!

Taylor and Scott were so nice to allow us to move our campervan closer to the building to block the wind. During our stay It was unusually strong high winds and the sites are not protected. Had it not been windy we would have stayed at the site. Nice coworking space as well, for those looking to work remotely while traveling.

Mountain views and great people
Tent
Taylor and Scott have set up a wonderful place for campers!
It is close to the Natiinal Park of Black Canyon of the Gunnison and just north of the Millian Dollar Highway. The views of the mountains and the sunsets are fantastic! Their place has very nice camping spots, that have fire pits, picnic table. A part of the school house has a restroom, hot shower and a water bottle filling station. Taylor and Scott are very quick to respond to questions re: the HipCamp app.
We will look forward to staying there again!

There are still adding more furnishings to their property but had all of the amenities we needed (full bathroom, kitchen, and water). It will be even better next time when they have completed more of their projects. Looking forward to coming back and seeing what they have done.

This is the place we've been looking for while working remotely and touring National Parks! Scott and Taylor were friendly and welcoming hosts and for anyone that's working from the road--this is the perfect spot! The facilities in place are already amazing and I know it will only get better as they complete their vision. We'll definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in the area!

Quiet, safe, & convenient!
Tent
I enjoyed my one night layover at Taylor & Scott's Hipcamp! It was perfect for my needs, a quiet and safe place to land after visiting Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. I particularly liked the nice level graveled space to setup my SUV with shelter and the great common building with clean bathroom, WiFi, and morning coffee. Their plans for the future full service campground is exciting! I would definitely stay here again and look forward to how their space evolves.

Scott was very accommodating and helpful. This place is spectacular with amazing views and large camping spots. Scott and Taylor live on-site and are around to help if needed.
And being able to take a shower after a long day of hiking was a huge bonus. Everything here is clean and well kept! It’s the nicest camp ground I have ever stayed at!

Ultimate Work Space!
6 m Class B
Taylor and Scott are in the midst of creating an amazing place for traveling workers. My husband and I have been able to work full time from the work space with fantastic internet, (no glitches ~150 up and ~130 down on their WiFi) and the standing desks have been such a nice change from our normal van setup. The space could not be better, but on top of that Taylor and Scott have been such friendly hosts. We have loved working here and being in close proximity to explore all that Southwest CO has to offer. Would recommend this place to other digital nomads in a heartbeat!

Can I give 10 stars?
Tent
Taylor and Scott were incredible hosts. Upon arrival , I was greeted with a big smile and given detailed information about the property , where to set up , and even local food recommendations. The space itself was so thoughtfully put together. It’s a project under construction but no noise or anything that I teetered with the peace and tranquillity. When it got a bit windy for my tastes , it was so great to be able to take refuge in the schoolhouse building. I was able to relax in a super comfy environment and charge my devices while waiting for a storm to pass through. This is day five of a seven day motorcycle trip and this has been the absolute best camping experience I’ve had so far , no contest. Can’t wait to see it when it’s all done.

Fantastic Location and Hosts!
Tent · Group trip
Our granddaughter and friends loved the secluded campsite that Taylor and Scott provided and were welcomed with open arms from the beginning of their stay. Taylor's artist talents shine when you first enter the shared space with a serene mountain scene. It was great to have internet services and to be able to pick our space ahead of time upon request. Scott, Taylor and their dog Finley were warm and accommodating throughout our stay! Yes, we would stay with them again in the future! A BIG THANKS to Taylor, Scott and Finley. Hope to see you next year! Michelle...Keira, Leanna, Nathan and Richy...=)

This is going to be a great campground when it is completed. Even now, they can accommodate most any sized rig.
