Our 11-site campground is situated on Arkansas Hwy 74E, approximately three miles east of Jasper and three miles west of the Hasty Cutoff for quick access to the Buffalo River! This is not a residential campground like so many in the area - it is exclusively for camping enthusiasts! Being former camping enthusiasts ourselves, we built our RV park to accommodate rigs anywhere from a small popup to campers and motorhomes in excess of 40'. We also created each campsite to provide LOTS of personal space, with campsites being anywhere from 30 feet to 50 feet apart. Each site features a firepit, with small bundles of firewood available for purchase. Picnic tables are also available for your stay. We offer five campsites that are pull-through with full hookups, and six back-in sites that have water and electric only (a dump station is available for your convenience). Also featured is a BEAUTIFUL shower building; one side for the women, and one side for the men. Once you step inside and shut the door, you will have the beautifully tiled shower, toilet and lavatory to yourself until you are finished! Laundry facilities are also available on site - rather than charging exorbitant rates for using the washer and dryer like other RV parks or laundromats, we opted to make it available to our guests for a simple monetary donation. This remote primitive campground is between Kingston and Compton, Arkansas. in the Ozark Mountains of the Boston plateau. The wooded 15 acres is nestled just above a scenic bluff looking south. You can set your tent on our grassy knoll or find a random spot anywhere under our hardwoods or pines. There is one designated gravel site pad for a mid size trailer. The only roads to Spoken N’ Tru are gravel. I highly recommend taking the gravel route from Kingston. This particular gravel road is 5 miles. If you are pulling a camper this is definitely the best. There is another longer 8 mile option from 412 - south from Dryfork in between Marble and Ozark. The shortest route if from 103 but it has a deep creek crossing and don't recommended unless you have a good 4 wheel vehicle. The best road to Ponca is County Road 1300 which takes you to Highway 43. Please keep in mind that Spoke N’ Tru is a cozy but primitive camping site with no amenities so be ready to check your electronics before heading down our gravel roads. Lastly, please read amenity notes, especially regarding waste.

Located between America's First National River, the Buffalo River and the most unique town in the Ozarks, Eureka Springs, AR. Just 6 miles to the Kings River. Surrounded by hiking, mountain biking, floating, fishing and hunting. Built with an emphasis on using locally milled rough sawn timber, reclaimed materials and handmade details throughout. This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

I tent camped at the Landing and walking down to the creak. This place is a hidden gem! The weather was beautiful (low humidity, sunny). Given that it has been relatively dry, much of the creek bed was dry so I was able to walk for at least a mile in each direction. However, water was gushing out near the cave entrance which provided a flowing creak for about 1/4 of a mile. Tim and Tiffany were amazing hosts. They took the time to provide a tour of their property and were very helpful (I forgot a lawn chair and water). If you are looking for a rugged, private, and serene experience, this should be on your list.

I had great time camping out of my roof top tent at the ranch. It was really windy on the hilltop campsite, but the sunrise/sunsets and view of the ranch and bison were well worth it. Lots of different trails to explore and campsites to set up at. Donny wad a great host and got us a fire going when it was really windy. Lynn was super nice and helpful too. Highly recommend.

LOVED this spot. So well thought out, the location was so convenient, everything was well manicured and it was overall just really peaceful and beautiful. There was no wind like the last RV park we stayed at in Ponca and the bathrooms were really clean and spacious (although there's only one per gender!). It backs up to farm land and is separated by a barbwire fence you can hear the frog and crickets at night. We were the only trailer there during this trip which felt extra special - but site #6 has a great angle and space to it for a little extra privacy.

Place was awesome! Adams was super communicative and responsive. Secluded with great view off the cliff but also close to Buffalo river activities. Whitaker point was a cool hike to the south. Def take Adam’s recommendation if bringing an rv and come from Kingston, and also would say mine (21 foot box) is probably about as big as I’d try to get in there.

Such a great place to camp at and so much to enjoy! The creek is absolutely beautiful and the land really is peaceful, especially because we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves! Walter is a great host! He is very accommodating, kind, and has only three very reasonable rules! We enjoyed our time there so much and can’t wait to go back! If I had to say something where there is room for improvement, it would be the outhouse situation, but we were in it for the primitive camping experience and already knew what we were in for, so no disappointment there, just room for improvement. Thank you Walter for welcoming us onto your lovely land and taking care of us with fantastic firewood! We will be back soon!

Ozark Campground

This campground is really great! Beautiful spot along the Buffalo River with close access to the BRT and ORT for hiking. Great area with easy access to other hiking, floating, and any outdoor needs. Really close to downtown Jasper and there’s a Harp’s a few minutes down 7 that has gas, firewood, and any essentials you may have forgotten. The previous review covers the essentials, but the gravel road into the campground is well maintained making it more accessible to more vehicle types. Mostly designed for tent camping, there are some more accessible RV spots in the 1-3 range closest to the camp host. Definitely fills up on weekends, so I recommend booking online in advance. There are also a lot of folks who use this campground for day use to park and access the river. It has a pavilion with a charcoal grill that can be rented. On here it says no pets, but we did see a handful of people with dogs on leash, so I don’t know how accurate that is.

The drive to the site is a little nerve wracking due to steep drop offs and narrow roads that are gravel. People drive way too fast on them. The camping area is primitive, but clean and offers a good bit of privacy. The river is beautiful and serene. WELL worth the drive. We will be back to float the river!
