If you are a weather watcher, you may see 3-4 seasons in one day depending on the time of year. Don’t worry about rv parks, dump stations, and utilities. It’s all taken care of for you, nestled on a custom dug terrace overlooking my private canyon. Sunrises and sunsets are a dream! This RV is parked for you, set, and ready to enjoy. City water is on site via a 250 gallon fresh water tank (I fill it for each visitor). I also take care of the sewage and grey tanks for every visitor. This is an off grid property, with all the amenities you need. There is no cell service, but I have you covered. Starlink satellite is on site, and gives you super fast, high speed connection. Enjoy 20 acres of wildflowers, quiet nights, and stunning canyon views. Firewood is provided for your camp fire, in either of the two fire pits just steps from the rv. A nearby shed also offers a place for luggage, trash storage, etc and gives you more room in the rv. The RV is solar-powered with a backup diesel generator. and fully equipped for comfort. It has a queen size bed, two bunk beds, and a convertible dining table that makes into another full sized bed. Kings Canton is tucked away, and access isn’t too bad. I have spent 8 years rebuilding the road for access by most vehicles. Four wheel drive is recommended just in case, but not necessary. The private road has loose gravel in spots. Most SUVs can access. I have had my Ford Focus and my Toyota Prius up there (although some people say I’m crazy). I don’t recommend kings canyon for anyone with fear of heights! The roads are safe, but there are steep drops and switchbacks. Explore my property and witness hummingbird migrations. They fly here from Mexico. If you’re unsure about access, or anything else, please message me prior to booking and I’ll give you my honest assessment. No one knows Kings Canyon better than I do!

Weekend Trip to Little Cabin with a view

Linda's cabin was exactly what we were looking for - a place to get off our phones, relax and have fun with our pup. I spent most of the daylight hours outside wrapped in a blanket on the Adirondack chairs with my furry buddy at my feet. The cabin is well equipped with a a heater, microwave, mini fridge and electric kettle. There is also a propane BBQ just outside the cabin which we didn't use this trip, but will keep in mind for future visits. Our pup, Petra, had so much fun and I felt very comfortable having her off leash while exploring the property. She loved the treats Linda left for her each day! We were very comfortable; it was the perfect getaway.

Really beautiful spot! The cabin is the perfect size and well built. Huge windows overlook the view. You can’t see any neighbors which was perfect for us. Propane firepit was fantastic and Chas was a wonderful host! Very comfortable place - we hope to go back!

Loved this cabin and this experience. It was my first time using Hipcamp so I was slightly concerned. Turns out this concern was for nothing! Chas was great, very helpful, availar and so nice. 10/10 highly recommend. Will definitely be back!!

The cabin was a perfect mountain get away! Linda was extremely helpful, offering detailed directions, fresh cookies and fresh coffee in the morning. The property and view was breathtaking, pictures just don’t do it justice. The drive out is gorgeous and you get right into the mountains and backcountry. Amazing getaway for some peace and star gazing!

1 night at The Bird's Nest Yurt

The Bird’s Nest Yurt was lovely. Not too far from town, clean, well supplied and relaxing. The host was accessible and helpful. Gave us a recommendation for an outdoor sightseeing stop on our way there. If you are traveling to Laramie, WY I highly recommend checking it out.

We had such a great stay at the Blue Moon Cabin! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous and the cabin was very private. We really enjoyed the outdoor lounge area with the fire table. The outdoor shower was really a fun experience too! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time staying at the Crow cabin. It was so nice and warm and the hospitality was great. We appreciated being able to add on a shower and charcoal for the grill and only wished we could’ve stayed longer.

This was our second stay and even better than last time! The area is gorgeous with all of the rock formations and the cabin is very cozy and welcoming. The fireplace is perfect for chilly nights and the mornings are gorgeous. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We will be back again!

We loved staying at the Little Cabin With a View. Perfect for two people and the dogs had a ton of room to roam. It is a fabulous spot for dogs off the leash. They'd run around and come back...run around some more and come back. Linda is very welcoming and knows the area. And she dropped coffee off outside the door of the cabin every morning!!

We (2 adults and my dog) stayed in South Crow cabin. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed at. It had everything we needed, was dog friendly, quiet and private unlike a hotel. The only negative was that we didn't have time to stay longer. I highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

We loved staying in South Crow Cabin! It is such a thoughtful design with stunning views. It’s easy to spend hours on the deck admiring the landscape. (We saw several elk and deer come through while we relaxed). The hosts went out of their way to greet us and show us how everything worked. We would gladly stay here again.

3 nights at Buford Canyon

This place is simply the best. The view and property are unique, beautiful and so fun to explore. The cabin, bathroom and shower are thoughtfully created to allow comfort while also still enjoying the fun parts of camping. The cabin stayed very warm and cozy. They put so much work into the details to make sure you have all you need. There were even long leashes for dogs attached to the deck. The shower is a tankless water heater and gets very warm. We were able to shower comfortably in September outside and they made sure we always had water. Chas and his wife nicely waited up for us as we got in later than expected and took the time to make sure we were settled in. We really didn’t want to leave. There is good reception for your phones. It is close to the highway.
