Nestled in between two valleys with 3,500 feet of stream front property on the West Fork of the Kickapoo, we truly have one of the most unique campgrounds you'll ever visit. Having avoided glacial drift during the last ice age, the Driftless area boast beautiful valleys, bluffs and rolling hills that you won't find anywhere well in Wisconsin. We are an Environmental Conservation Club always accepting new members. A temporary membership is included in camping fees and goes toward environmental conservation work and maintaining grounds, free wifi, etc. Our 20 acre property boast 3,500 feet of stream-front class 1 trout fishing on the West Fork of the Kickapoo (a top 100 trout stream in the US). Our entire stretch of stream is fully improved and excellent to fish. We have a healthy native brown trout population. We work with a local school science program to raise and stock brook trout every year. We have resident Sandhill Cranes, Bald Eagles, Oriels, Willow Fly Catchers, Hummingbirds and many other avian species. Nestled between two valleys, we frequently have stunning sunsets. We are far enough way from light pollution to easily see the Milky Way Galaxy on a clear night. The star gazing is amazing and if you keep your eyes up at night, you're pretty much guaranteed to see a shooting star, if not multiple. The West Fork Sport Club is truly a special campground. We're a short 15 minute drive from Viroqua which has a lot of great local shops, the Driftless Café (Owned and operated by Wisconsin Foodie host Luke Zahm) and a fantastic farmer's market. We're 25 minutes from Wild Cat Mountain which has extensive hiking trails. There are also two great vineyards within 15 minutes. Great location, super friendly host, and firewood included in the price. We had a great time. It's close enough to town to be convenient, but rural enough to enjoy nature. The surrounding hills and trees are beautiful. The only challenge was finding a flat spot for tents. A couple areas aren't too bad, but most of the clearing is on a bit of a slope.

Beautiful, secluded campsite with a babbling brook running through!! The region is gorgeous in the fall. The outhouse was clean and well kept. Tai + Stella’s visitor guide and map were very informative and easy to follow. Logan brought us firewood and allowed us to enjoy the area in peace. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an escape out in nature.

Weekend Trip to BoscoBelle

The view at Boscobelle is great and David was very welcoming. It is set in a valley so the sun gets to you in the late morning. I have seen other reviews saying it is not level. It does have an incline but there multiple places where it is very easy to set up a tent and be perfectly comfortable. It is close enough to town that anything you may have forgotten or want access to is a five minute drive away. It was a great way to usher in fall.

The site is located in such a peaceful area and we were greeted by cows throughout the day! Travis had a nice picnic table, outdoor lights, and wall barrier to help with the wind! Great stay!

Fairly private site. It is next to a not well traveled gravel road. No shade, so if you're planning on hanging out at the site during the day, bring a canopy. Very responsive owner.

My wife and I have now been traveling to this wonder of a campground for a couple of years now, and it is utopian, peaceful, and something akin to magical. I'm hesitant to leave a review because its wonder lies in its seclusion and solitudinous beauty, but I would be dishonorably unforthright to the proprietors of such an estate to withhold the proportionate praise that sharing a paradisiacal place of tranquil respite deserves to garner.

The hospitality that Afton provided was impeccable, by far the best I’ve experienced with Hipcamp and I use Hipcamp a lot. Not only was she a great host but a super cool gal as well and she put me onto one of the best local fishing spots too. 10/10 would recommend and I would 100% stay here again and you should too!

I had an absolutely incredible stay at this Hipcamp. It felt like I had been transported to the mountains, not Wisconsin! The views in the driftless region were stunning. I reached out to host Andy in advance, and he graciously let me stay in the fenced dog park area, which featured a crystal-clear spring-fed pond. The trails on the property were amazing, perfect for exploring with my dogs, and the location itself is out of this world. It's right in the heart of Amish country, with Amish horse and buggies riding right past the campsite. Andy was fantastic, welcoming, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. If he was working near the campsite he kept me informed, but otherwise gave me my privacy and it really felt like I had the place to myself. Andy even loaned me a corkscrew after I forgot mine. Although the listing says no cooking equipment, the site was set up with a campfire grill grate which was so helpful for cooking over the open fire. I purchased the wood add on and Andy provided more than enough wood right beside the fire for two days. He also suggested a nearby Amish home-based bakery, which had some of the most delicious baked goods I’ve ever tasted. Every detail of this stay was thoughtful, peaceful, and memorable. I only wish I could have stayed longer! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene, stunning, and unique camping experience.

Great private site. My dogs enjoyed playing in the pond. Nice, clean toilet on site. Plenty of room for the dogs to sniff around and explore and close enough to places like Wyalusing for a day trip to hike. Very close to river put in for those wanting to enjoy the Wisconsin River.

Andy and Marla are wonderful hosts. Their property is clean, well organized, and beautiful! The location is close to all of the spots that people would find interested while touring in the area. Make sure to stop by Readstown for the licorice ice cream!!! Fantastic stay, will return.

This space is like a dream, definitely not like any campground I've been to before. The winding country roads passing by buggies and neighbors waving were signs we were going to the right place. Our site was surrounded by a babbling creek that we splashed around in during the day. The dogs especially enjoyed that part! Each site was spread out and private, with the creek joining the grounds together. The compost outhouse was awesome and I never had to wait in line even with all of the spots occupied. It was so peaceful and tranquil but we also felt able to let loose and have joyful moments. Having spring water and firewood available was amazing and we only had to leave the property once to reup on supplies (theres poor service but reliable wifi to upload maps to the nearest stores, noted on the welcome guide). If you have dogs or children there are spots that are more secluded to choose from. We liked Coyote to camp by our cars but our pups are still practicing not barking hello every time a neighbor passed by. We felt so lucky to have to found this slice of bliss amongst the acres of farmland and rolling forests. Being there exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back.

We had a phenomenal time staying on Gary’s land! He’s such a nice guy with a plethora of knowledge to share. He had the fire going for us when we arrived and brought us hot coffee the next morning :) The animals were incredible! Many are free roam and we got to encounter several different ones. We felt very safe knowing To Go protects the land and keeps coyotes, etc away. The river is beautiful and quiet. The entrance is through two gates by his house; you can come and go as you please and he’ll meet you when you arrive to get acquainted with the simple-to-use system. It’s close to town and Gary is a great resource for any questions! We would absolutely stay again.
