This unique riverside retreat is located on the shores of the Plover River, on a dam remnant behind a former working mill. Riley Crest Farm is located in Amherst, Wisconsin. Close to Hartman Creek St Park, on the north side of Hwy 54. We are diversified farm. We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow and mule named Molly, a couple pigs or chickens in the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat. Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We sell eggs and meat from our farm store.
We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock. Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. PLEASE NOTE with heavy rain all wheel drive (AWD) is needed to park next to your site. If you don't have AWD, there's parking by the rec room. We can transport you to your site if there are issues.

Jeff was super nice and friendly. We had a great time listening to live bluegrass and enjoying wood fired pizza. The camping spaces were nice as well. Spent the later hours at the campsite listening to the frogs chirping and watching the fireflies. Would highly recommend!

We stayed on Brian’s land for the high school state trap tournament in Nekoosa. We had water and electric with clear instructions on where to find our site. They have a community bonfire, but it rained on our stay so we did not use it. Brian was friendly and respectful and it was quiet.

This was our second time camping at Wedges Creek. We loved the first experience so much we came back with more people.
We had campsites and cabins rented. Cabins 2, 3, 4 and 5. All we absolutely adorable. Clean and cozy!
The campsites were 7 and 8. We enjoyed beautiful bonfires at night with a bonus of watching the wildlife walk along the fields.
Take advantage of the woodfired Pizza! Amazing! Live music at night made for a fun night of dancing.
Outdoor venue on nice days along with an indoor venue in case of weather.
Jeff, the host, goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay.
Make sure you ask him for the story of Frog Town and take the tour if you can!
Highly recommend!

Such a unique fun place. Nice campsites plus delicious wood fired pizza and live music on the weekends through September. They also have a bar with beer and wine. Super clean and spacious bath house. The host was great greeting us when we arrived and offering to bring us firewood. They have an indoor and outdoor stage and seats depending on the weather. Very cool place with a western movie set feel. We will definitely be back

Pizza friday night was fantastic from the wood fired Pizza oven. Live music inside the main building which is open timber framed, beautiful. There is a stage out side for other times. Outside patio over looking the fields is relaxing.
