Old Red Mill Oasis

This unique riverside retreat is located on the shores of the Plover River, on a dam remnant behind a former working mill.  Campers will enjoy a park-like atmosphere with numerous  benches, stone fire pits, and hidden trails among riverside, grassy, and forested areas.  It's an ideal location to fish, kayak, or enjoy a 20-minute float from the dam to the Sharonwood bridge. The campground host offers guided kayak tours and/or shuttle services along the Big Plover River for an additional fee. 

The Old Red Mill Oasis is located on County Highway Y, 1.5 miles north of Jordan County Park and Jordan Pond, within 5 miles of the city of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, which offers numerous recreational opportunities.  (See additional information section.) 

Site 1 – River Edge Site

The River Edge site is a cleared area along the Plover River which includes a cracked granite fire pit, concrete bench, and nearby picnic table.  It is an ideal site for tent camping. 

Site 2 – Woodland Fern Site

The Woodland Fern site is a large shady site among mature trees ideal for tent or hammock camping.  The site includes two cleared areas and a portable fire pit. There are lovely benches along the river and hammock chairs nearby.  

Site 3 – Boardwalk Trail Site

The wooded Boardwalk Trail opens to secluded grassy site ideal for tent or hammock camping.  A stone fire pit is included.

Guests may enjoy tubing on the Plover River or just floating around near the dam.  

RileyCrest Farm

Riley Crest Farm is located in Amherst, Wisconsin. Close to Hartman Creek St Park, on the north side of Hwy 54.  We are diversified farm. We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats,  a horse named Willow, a couple pigs In the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat.  Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats.  

We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough.  Swimming  not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available.   We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock.   Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. We can accommodate larger groups. You can book the whole site for private setting too.   Welcome to the  farm!

Clear Water Camp

A private sanctuary with 30 acres located just north of Waupaca's Chain O' Lakes with groomed hiking and/or biking trails. Terrain is varied with ponds, hills, and valleys. Shower, potable water, and rec room available.

PLEASE NOTE with heavy rain all wheel drive (AWD) is needed to park next to your site. If you don't have AWD, there's parking by the rec room. We can transport you to your site if there are issues.

Firewood is available for purchase in addition to a 24 x 32 rec room/storm shelter. Kayaks and SUPs available to rent too!

The rec room offers a fun room full of games (ping pong, darts, and other fun games) and a living room area with multiple TVs. We have a kitchen area with a refrigerator (no water) with snacks, pizza, and beverages available.

Head into town for shopping, coffee, and baked treats. Or head to the Chain for crystal clear water, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, skiing, or dining at one of Waupaca's signature restaurants. 

Clear Water Camping has a rich history. The location is where the stagecoach house (still standing) was built in 1847 to support the nearby granite quarry.

Waupaca River Retreat

Located on the Waupaca River, there is plenty to do here! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing, and so much more! Several routes to choose from. Amazing wildlife includes whitetail deer, turtles, bald eagles, black terns, blue herons, cranes and trumpeter swans. Conveniently located minutes from Waupaca, Hartmans Creek State Park and Chain O Lakes. Great fat tire bike trails in the area. Sites are large to stretch out. Ground is cleared woodland. Site includes picnic table and metal fire pit. Firewood available for purchase on-site.

Bouressa Family Farm

There's 2 properties, both beautiful and special.

"The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River.  This land has been in my family for generations.  My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid.  Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup).  There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite.

The other property is on my pasture-based farm.  It's a few miles from the Little Wolf.  There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures,  woods, and wetlands.  
We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in!  

There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation.  We're working on improving the trails.  It's beautiful out there!

Teardrop camper factory onsite campground (Free factory tours weekdays). 

Wooded campsites on the edge of Necedah WI. A short walk to the Camp-Inn factory which has a bathroom with an outside entrance for guests to use. Bathroom has shower and is heated year round. Picnic tables, fire rings and firewood in the campsites. Campsites are sized for small campers 13' and less. Teardrop campers, small standee campers, tent trailers, small pop ups, van campers, car campers, roof top tents and ground tents all are invited. Both campsites have dog walking trails

Near by to the Petenwell Lake, Castle Rock Lake and the Necedah Wildlife Refuge.

Welcome to our peaceful 2-acre retreat, where you can park your camper and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Our 50ft graveled parking area and circular driveway provides easy access for parking. Electric hookups are available for up to two campers at a time (30 amp). Additionally, water is available upon request, ensuring your comfort during your stay.

While there are no trees on the property, you'll enjoy the open grassy terrain and the tranquil atmosphere it provides. Keep an eye out for wildlife passing through the nearby marshy area, adding to the natural charm of the surroundings. Across from the parking area, you'll have a picturesque view of our horse pasture, offering a peaceful vista to enjoy during your stay.

For those traveling with horses, we offer limited trails around our farm fields for you to explore. Whether you're on foot or horseback, you'll find plenty of opportunities to appreciate the beauty of the countryside. Additionally, a fire pit is available for your use, with firewood available for purchase, providing the perfect setting for cozy evenings under the stars.

Glowconsin Getaway

Adjacent to Buckhorn State Park which is 6,990-acre Wisconsin state park southeast of Necedah. The park occupies a peninsula on Castle Rock Lake, a reservoir formed at the confluence of the Wisconsin and Yellow Rivers. Almost 5 acres of mixed oak-pine woods with sandy, fertile soil.

Koeller Century Farm

The farm has been in the family for four generations.
 We don't have any livestock anymore and rent the fields to the neighbors but the home, outbuildings and five acres are well-loved and used as our home base and also for rustic weddings, graduation parties, reunions and barn dances.
In 1974, the farm was used as the location for the TV movie "Things in Their Season" starring Patricia O'Neal.
We put up one of the first barn quilts in the county and are on the route of the Bike the Barn Quilts bike ride (held last Saturday in September.)

Pitch your tent or roll your RV up to&nbsp;a beautiful farmstead (we no longer have&nbsp;animals, crops only).&nbsp; We are a rustic wedding / event venue located mid-way&nbsp;on the Mountain Bay Trail, Wisconsin's longest rail-trail which runs about 90 miles&nbsp;from Weston to Green Bay.&nbsp; &nbsp;Fire pit available.&nbsp;&nbsp;Views of farmland all around.&nbsp; Quiet and peaceful but not secluded.&nbsp; &nbsp;(See pictures on Facebook Country Events at the Koeller Century Farm.)&nbsp;You can move tent into the machine shed (wood chip floor)&nbsp;during severe weather.&nbsp; There are electrical outlets to use to re-charge devices.

Sunshine Farmette

One of the first farms in the area, dating back to 1860’s. Grainery is believed to be the oldest building, followed by the house. The original house was a log cabin and added onto making it into 2 story house today. The current Barn was built in the early 1900’s.  The property was once dairy farm, and plant nursery.   Enjoy the trails and the lawn around the barn.  Be cautious of stinging neetle.  Many birds; morning doves, thrushes, catbirds, green herons, gold finches and many more are seen. Raccoons, squirrels, snakes, turtles, deer, rabbits and have been seen 🦌🦝🐇

Rustic Farmette located on quiet county road.  A gravel area is available for cars and campers.  A above ground fire pit lined with logs for sitting is available.  Electricity can be made available upon request.  Nighttime is filled with the sound and sights of local wildlife.  Barred owls, frogs and song birds of all types frequent the property.  Raccoons🦝 have been seen in the area, so always take food precautions. Absolutely perfect for stargazing on clear nights.

If you are burning in a campfire ring or fire pit with the intent to eliminate debris, a DNR burning permit is required. However, small fires for warming or cooking purposes do not require a DNR burning permit and are allowed anytime of the day, except during Emergency Burning Restrictions.

 Small town Fremont offers the basics and much more.  Wolf River, Wiouwash State Trail, Fremont Beach on Partridge Lake are only 10-15 minutes away. Appleton & Oshkosh only 25 minutes away.

Moon Tree Getaway

This property is located only a few blocks from a secluded beach on Castle Rock Lake & a boat ramp less than half a mile away. There are 2 popular restaurants near the site as well. Room for a 32 ft camper and an additional smaller camper or tents. Full water, septic and electric hookups. 

Yellow River Hideaway

Nicely wooded lot with privacy and a large enough clearing to park any size RV, travel trailer, or simply set up a tent. There is room for multiple campers, tents, and trailers. 

The property is located on legal ATV/UTV routes, providing easy access to all the places you want to go, including Castle Rock Lake. 

Snowmobile trails are also just down the road. The property is near public hunting grounds and is close to the Yellow River, Castle Rock Lake, and Lake Petenwell for all your fishing and recreational boating needs.

There is a park model on the property, but it will not be in use during your stay—you will have the property to yourself. 

The property has a 200-amp service with two 50-amp plugs and multiple standard outlets, so running your AC on your camper or RV will not be an issue. 

It is located in a quiet neighborhood while still being close to all the fun activities the area has to offer.

The G Farm

Ever want to leave your job and unite with nature? Me too, after 10-plus years of tax preparation, I found myself with a desire to farm and to become closer to the food we take for granted. This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. In 2015 I purchased this property without any farming experience and have begun to transform this property into a beautiful destination. We look forward to seeing you and welcoming you into our ecosystem.

The summer camp experience

Camp Shin-Go-Beek is a youth summer camp located in central Wisconsin. When we're not running summer camp, we open the property up to Hipcampers. We have multiple large campsites for tent camping. The property is located on 2 quiet lakes, with great opportunities for swimming, fishing, and boating. The swimming area has a great beach and&nbsp;a diving raft (depending on the season).  We also have a large dining hall for indoor activities, and several outdoor program areas. We are just south of the Chain-o-lakes and Waupaca, so there's plenty to do a short drive away.
