Riley Crest Farm is located in Amherst, Wisconsin. Close to Hartman Creek St Park, on the north side of Hwy 54. We are diversified farm. We have a small herd of dairy cows, 50 dairy/meat goats, a horse named Willow and mule named Molly, a couple pigs or chickens in the summer, lots of cats. We specialize in goats for meat. Grazing girls roam 30 acres of pasture close to camping. Our goats are very friendly. We are currently not milking goats. We sell eggs and meat from our farm store.
We have a spring fed 3 acre pond to paddle around if the water level is high enough. Swimming not recommended. Primitive tent and camper sites available. We welcome horses, bring your own fence. Trails on farm for walking or riding and close to Hartman Creek State Park trails. Dogs are okay, but must be on a leash for the safety of our livestock. Our on site camper offers a bathroom, no shower. Gas generator to run electricity is included for lights and basic appliances. Bring your own water containers, available to fill at the farm. PLEASE NOTE with heavy rain all wheel drive (AWD) is needed to park next to your site. If you don't have AWD, there's parking by the rec room. We can transport you to your site if there are issues.

"The Twenty" is a neat campsite right on the Little Wolf River. This land has been in my family for generations. My dad tells stories of fishing the holes while they made hay when he was a kid. Definitely fishing opportunities, as well as floating down the river (tube, canoe, kayak, sup). There's a nice swimming hole right out from the campsite.
The other property is on my pasture-based farm. It's a few miles from the Little Wolf. There is the "FarmStay" Camper, as well as a couple campsites nestled in the woods with a great views of the pastures, woods, and wetlands.
We've also recently added a pond that's able to be used by our guests to swim in!
There are 100+ acres that can explored on this 100% pasture-based beef operation. We're working on improving the trails. It's beautiful out there!

Clear cut in the 50's, and hit by a tornado in the 90's, this land has come a long way in being restored. The forest has grown back, the tornado damage mostly cleaned up, I'm currently working helping to reestablish native plants. Adjacent to county forest land this land is teeming with life and has an almost supernatural feel to it at night...in fact, if your lucky you might see the dancing purple lights that have appeared from time to time. The property is part of the Harrison-Hewitt county forest. It is a few short miles from the Eau Claire Dells, and only a mile or so from the Plover River Fishery, Springbrook(Trout fishing and kayak accessible) the Ice Age Trail. It is 5 miles from WI Hwy 45 which is on the way to many points in the WI & upper MI Northwoods. Its 25 miles from Granite Peak Ski area. We have all sorts of wildlife; loons, turkey, grouse, foxes, red squirrels, wolves, black bear, a cougar, whitetail deer plus woodpeckers, plovers and songbirds and more.

Jeff was super nice and friendly. We had a great time listening to live bluegrass and enjoying wood fired pizza. The camping spaces were nice as well. Spent the later hours at the campsite listening to the frogs chirping and watching the fireflies. Would highly recommend!

We stayed on Brian’s land for the high school state trap tournament in Nekoosa. We had water and electric with clear instructions on where to find our site. They have a community bonfire, but it rained on our stay so we did not use it. Brian was friendly and respectful and it was quiet.

This was our second time camping at Wedges Creek. We loved the first experience so much we came back with more people.
We had campsites and cabins rented. Cabins 2, 3, 4 and 5. All we absolutely adorable. Clean and cozy!
The campsites were 7 and 8. We enjoyed beautiful bonfires at night with a bonus of watching the wildlife walk along the fields.
Take advantage of the woodfired Pizza! Amazing! Live music at night made for a fun night of dancing.
Outdoor venue on nice days along with an indoor venue in case of weather.
Jeff, the host, goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay.
Make sure you ask him for the story of Frog Town and take the tour if you can!
Highly recommend!

It was a little hard to find given GPS took me to the Activity Center but once I found it, it was lovely. Only one other camper there. I had a nice, quiet spot with a view of the river. Will definitely stay again.
