CAMPSITE IS LOCATED IN THE ORCHARD. Please do not enter the main farm driveway. If you are not looking at Apple trees you are in the wrong place. Pets need to be on a leash and cleaned up after. Please do not leave them out of the orchard. My grandfather purchased the property and everything you can see 360° around you in 1953. The orchard was started in 1962 and the large trees date back to that time and still produce apples. My dad took over in 1985 and it has been part of my life ever since. After my dads passing in 2017 the property fell to me. At it's peak there were 85 trees that produced 500 bushels of apples per season. All hand pruned, sprayed and picked. We sold them 5 days a week at local farmers markets. Currently, about two dozen trees are maintained, the rest feed the local wildlife. An orchard is a year round commitment. Enjoy your stay. ~Dale This is a small working family orchard. Sites are rustic. RV and trailers can park on grass or the driveway. Tents ⛺ can set up on the grass. Sites are not marked. HipCamp requires that I list them separately for reservation purposes. The location is not busy. Maybe one or two reservations a weekend in the summer. Peace and quiet served daily-no other tents in sight! This is off the beaten path next to the Fox River with no other campers nearby. You can bring your own RV/tent/campervan or choose to stay in the tipi. There are two kayaks with life jackets labeled for guests to use during their stay. As you drive on the dirt road to the site there are farm fields to your left and the Fox River is straight ahead. If needing to to get groceries, Walmart and Aldi's are about 5 minutes away. Local towns are Mukwonago and East Troy. Chicago is 90 minutes away and Milwaukee and Lake Geneva are 30. Fork in the Road and David Alan Alan's Smokehouse & Saloon are popular restaurants in Mukwonago. Or you can try mead in East Troy at the Hive! The Alpine Valley Music Theatre is 15 minutes away. Location is near I-43 & Highway 83. Summerfest is the world's largest musical festival and it is located 30 minutes away. You can Venmo or use cash while you are at the campsite to purchase wood for one dollar a piece. There is also charcoal available with the site along with a weber grill. Lastly, the river might give you muddy toes-consider it a souvenir! But feel free to bring some water to rinse off and keep things fresh.

The Kettle Moraine Ice AgeTrail is just across the pond. The Glenbeulah Millpond offers fishing and kayaking and we provide free use of our kayak and paddleboat. We usually have a bunch of firewood for the included firepit and a nice table and chairs for your picnics. Swimming is near by at Elkhart Lake and the mountain biking trails in the Kettle Moraine Forest are wonderful. There is WiFi. We have a dog that is overly friendly and will hang out near your camper. If you want to bring your pets we ask that you talk with us first to make sure they will all get along. We do not have a sewer connection for your black and grey water tanks but there is a dump station just 4 miles away. There are no toilet facilities on site.

Wonderful trip. Beautiful, easy to back into site. Nice sized fire pit, available kayaks and boats. Right on the water, next to a nice hiking trail. Hosts were very friendly and a very friendly well behaved dog to boot. Very relaxing, better than what we could have hoped for.

1 night at Armstrong Orchard & Spoonlickers

We choose the front camping spot near the parking lot rather than the orchard spots because we were in a 42ft 5th wheel. We set up right off the parking lot, facing the orchards. It was a lovely setting and convenient to the coffee and ice cream Cafeand outside play area. Family came over to play on the playground, jump on the jump pillow and play bags outside. We also enjoyed a giant Bavarian pretzel, sandwiches, hot dogs and of course ice cream!!! They have you covered for breakfast, lunch and dinner! And aĺl sorts of yummy baked goods and other local fare and flowers for sale. We were a bit too early for apple picking but the orchard were showing signs of alot of yummy apples! If you are in larger rigs, I would recommend booking the frontspot off the parking lot and the area is big enough to position your rig facing whichever direction. If you are a smaller camper, setting up in the apple orchard is a lovely, more private area. The family is soo nice and accommodating and everything we tried in the café was delicious!!! The evening is very quiet and we felt very secure. We will definetly be back when in the area!

The property is absolutely amazing! Unfortunately we were unable to camp... our RV broke down less than a mile away. We did spe.d some time relaxing at the property waiting on the RV but didn't get to sleep there. Very nice hosts offered a ride late at night after RV got towed.

I really enjoyed my time at Stoney Brook Acres! I didn’t really spend much time other than eating dinner and sleeping because I was on lake Winnebago. The boat ramp is just 10 mins away. I had some camper issues and the owner was EXTREMELY helpful in time of need. I would definitely stay again in the future.

Book this place! I took our 3 boys (11/9/5) this weekend and it was perfect. The site is clean, flat, and well stocked. There was an awesome teepee, fire pit, grill (with complimentary charcoal), garbage/recycling cans, picnic table, 4 amazing kayaks, trails galore - I could keep going on. The hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The area was fun to explore including kettle moraine and local lakes, the property was safe and quiet. We were “lucky” enough to get 3-5” of rain one night and the grounds drained well and we were not impacted. We will be back next year!

Rick's lot is beautiful. It's set right on the pond and it feels very private. Very easy to get into (although I recommend you show up when it's light out - don't be like us). This is definitely a place we'd come to again!

If you’re looking for a safe camping area near Oconomowoc, WI in town of Ixonia…I highly recommend this spot! Family members are so nice, camping spots are country living with no amenities other than wildlife viewing! Been back twice already & plan to come again down the road!

6 nights at Stoney Brook Acres

We stayed 6 nights at Stoney Brook Acres. The host, Leroy, greeted us and helped us get connected to electric, sewer, and water. It's a big lot with a beautiful view of farmland. We put our chairs out and enjoyed the view. Leroy set out a smokeless fire pit for our use and offered us firewood. The step to our motorhome was high for a couple of short ladies, and Leroy built us a wooden platform to give us a lift up. He was friendly and helpful all the time. We would definitely return if in the area. Using his camp as a jump-off point, we visited a local winery (Zeigler), drove to Sheboygan to visit the Kohler Art Preserve, shopped at Vern's Cheese in Chilton and visited the beautiful town park with our dogs. The EAA flyin was happening in OshKosh and we enjoyed seeing occassional planes flying overhead.
