We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for any neighbours to hear.
Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall & has world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter. There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures).
We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both.
ATV's are idle in - idle out only.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

When we purchased
this property it was covered with black berry bushes, we did not even know what might be underneath when we started to clear it.
At first we just wanted a garden but the deer ate the blueberries so we planted pumpkins.
They were a success, in fact one year we gave a pumpkin to each Beach School kindergartner.
Later on we decided to set it up as with RV hook ups for our friends and that is how we got to where we are now.
We love to share Lummi Island, it is a special place and we added the tag "Beach, Bikes and Hikes" lots to do on Lummi so bring your bikes, kayaks, walking shoes.
Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up)
are ready for you. We have a propane campfire for evening campfires but you will need to hook up your propane to it.
Once you're set up, start exploring. The beach, blizzard trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada.
Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, two restaurants, no gas on Lummi, however the store does sell propane.
There is two restaurants on Lummi Island the Beach Store Cafe, moderate prices but only open Thursday thru Sunday and the Galley usually open Wed thru Sunday.
The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks,
outstanding sunsets and quiet nights.

One small (30-pound) dog per RV.

Guests will be required to maintain the property in a clean, uncluttered condition at all times during their visit and in the same condition as when they arrived when vacating.
Guests will be required to be courteous and respectful of neighbors' peace and quiet living.

My wife and I had the perfect little get away at Reg’s place. It was nice having a cozy room to listen to records and the mountain/river to explore. It was definitely rustic/primitive which was just what we were looking for. Also Reg was very friendly as well as other people living on the property.

2 nights at North Wind House: Historic Cascadia
I stayed in the Willow Cabin for two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was exactly the peaceful reset I was hoping for. I arrived after 9pm, and even in the dark, the property felt welcoming with its whimsical lighting guiding the way. Reg, the host, was there to greet me and walk me through everything — from the cozy cabin setup to the full outhouse bathroom and the little kitchen area with a fridge for essentials.
The cabin itself is simple and calming, with a twin and a queen bed, both with fresh linens. Reg had the space heater going before I arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. Since I stayed during the colder season, I was grateful I brought a heated blanket, and I’d recommend others do the same that time of year.
The water straight from the tap was incredibly fresh and delicious, truly something you don’t get in the city — just a small detail that made the stay feel even more special.
What really stood out to me was the beauty and quiet of the property. Reg genuinely encourages guests to wander and explore, and it made the whole stay feel more personal and grounding. It’s the perfect spot for anyone wanting to unplug, reflect, and enjoy a truly low-amenity, chill cabin experience.
And I have to mention this — the shower water pressure and heat were amazing. Truly a highlight!
If you know you enjoy a simple, peaceful, back-to-basics kind of stay, Willow Cabin is such a gem. I’d absolutely return.

Reg’s hundred acre wood is a charming mix of huts and outbuildings new and old. The vegetation overgrowth and misty air conceal various construction materials and antiques around the property. Dishes and coffee are available, and the BBQ worked as long as you can squeeze into the narrow place where it’s situated. The washroom is cute, the kitchen is slated for demolition, and the cabin we stayed in was warm. Reg was enthusiastic about showing us around the property, and introducing us to the sheep.

Reg is friendly and check in was very easy. The place had everything we needed and the space heater worked very well even on the lowest setting. The area is beautiful, particularly the little grotto area down the hill. I think it's an excellent stay especially for the price.

Reg has created a very cool space on his property. We loved staying in the analogue room, it felt very private and the bed was really comfortable! There’s a cozy washroom with a clawfoot tub and hot water and a kitchen both only a few steps away.
The property itself is stunning! Lots of hiking to explore and a volcanic grotto that had some of the most incredible rocks I’ve seen. This place is magic!

This campsite is a gem. Well cared for with stunning views of the sea and colourful sunsets. Access to the beach is a few steps across the road. Sounds of seabirds and the occasional fog horn background music. Our host was exceptional in providing for our comport and suggesting points of interest in the area. We biked daily and returned the friendly waves from passing motorists. Island time became real…with the tides replacing a clock. Will we return? You bet! Would I like to keep this spot a secret? Double yes!

As other reviews said, if you stay at the tent site you will hear road noise. I was primed for this, so it didn't bother me. Reg's place was absolutely perfect for a quick spot to car camp before heading back home from exploring Baker. He and his partner Amanda were very communicative and kind. The property is clean and charming and I can tell they both have a lot of pride in it. I will definitely come back, next time to hopefully rent a cabin. Thanks again for opening your special space to others!

We had a perfect weekend away at the Analogue Room. It’s nostalgic and homey, there’s privacy, a gorgeous view, scenic artwork and a sense of community throughout the property. I want to do my best to leave an honest review, which would include the good parts, and some things I wished were different
The good:
A+ host. Jordy went above and beyond to work with us and make our stay incredible. The site was clean, accommodating, and hook ups were close to the pad. We would absolutely stay again. There is a neighboring house that is associated with the host and they were very welcoming. We forgot a pot to make spaghetti and the person in the house lets us borrow one, very kind. The place is quiet at night and you’re literally steps from the beach.
What I wished was different :
Before I start this part, none of these are reasons not to stay here and some are not even in the hosts control, but other visitors might want to know.
The parking for the motorhome could be a bit more level. We drive a 25’ Jayco on a sprinter chassis and when backed in had to raise the front end by six inches to get level.
The cell service is poor (we have Verizon).
The area while quiet, is not private. You’re essentially sharing this large space with two other travel trailers that are owned by relatives. They were very nice and also welcoming, not loud or up late, but if they’re on site (seems like only the weekends) it’s not a private place with lots running around. Also, be prepared that all of their dogs will be off leash- which made it challenging for us to train our puppy (on leash).
Either way, we would definitely be back. Thanks again Jordy for everything!

Jordan was prepared for us with an open gate. It was easy to back our sprinter in. While there is not a view directly from the site, we were welcomed to use the picnic tables at the property next door where the beach access was as well. We enjoyed the day relaxing with unexpected sunshine and listened to the waves lapping up on the beach.

We returned for our second stay at this fun hip camp. We have enjoyed our daily bike rides around the island. Folks wave as they pass. We stopped to watch the reef net fishermen and learn how that is done. We shopped the farmers market and then picked yummy ripe blackberries along the fence at our camp. Our hosts are amazing. So friendly and helpful. We even did a quick dip in the water! But quickly returned to basking in the sun on the Sandy beach. We will return often.

Reg was a wonderful and thoughtful host! He was extremely accommodating, we came on a very hot day and he provided us with a box fan in the cabin. The land is beautiful and we loved talking to Reg about his connection to the land. The bathhouse and kitchen are great additions and made our stay comfortable. The cabin itself was cute and cozy.

Lovely, serene setting for an RV stay! Hosts were incredibly helpful. Walking doggo on the beach was a blast. There isn't really a water view from where the RV is parked, but there are chairs and tables nearby where we were invited to hang out and enjoy the incredible Lummi Bay views. So peaceful and quiet here! Thank you for hosting us
