From your campsite, you will be able to sit and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and view of the Cascade Mountains to the West. We have many birds that live in the area and are fun to watch. At night, you will only need to look up into the sky to clearly spot millions of stars. You will also be given some farm-fresh eggs as a gift.

Interesting fact: Our homestead is located on the McConihe Flats. 1200 years ago the Sinkiuse Indians would meet on the McConihe Flats and trade. They would also collect things along the shore of the lake such, as duck eggs and reeds, which are still around today.
We are conveniently located between Moses Lake and Ephrata, Washington. Only 14 minutes from either town, where you can find Walmart, Safeway, McDonald's, Starbucks, other stores, and resturants for all your needs.

A small 6-acre property located minutes from I90 and The Gorge Amphitheatre. Our farm is slowly becoming smaller as some of our older residents have moved on to greener pastures in the sky, but we are still here and still loving the hosting aspect of Hipcamp. Our resident horse Tulip is almost 30 and going strong. We still have too many chickens, six dogs and are looking forward to a wonderful summer!
We are surrounded by acres of farmland. "Quiet time" is difficult to put limits on because we have no control over when harvest for local crops needs to occur. Please be aware that farm machinery may be harvesting late into the night or start very early in the morning.

There are four (4) - 50 amp and water hook ups on the eastside of our property. One spot has a furnished old trailer sleeps 4. One spot occasionally has a class A on it and it sleeps one couple. The drive in at sunset was absolutely beautiful and the campsite felt other worldly. We were looking for off the grid camping and this site completely exceeded our expectations. We were the only ones at the campground and it was so peaceful. Renato was amazing and made sure we were settled in. Highly recommend and will be telling all of our friends about this spot!

We stayed overnight and Roger was super friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying. The property is gorgeous and private. The restroom and coffee station was clean and a really awesome amenity. It was raining and windy, but the tent site was covered with trees. The river was beautiful and Roger provided a firewood for the fire-pit near the river. My SO and I had a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back when we are in town.

5-Star Review: Fat Pony Farm Corral Campsite – A Perfect Post-Show Sanctuary!
We booked last minute for a Rufus du Sol show at The Gorge and honestly couldn’t have picked a better spot. My son and I rolled up an hour before the show and were immediately blown away at the beautiful and peaceful campsite. The rolling hills, the wide-open sky… it felt like we’d stumbled into a little slice of heaven in Quincy, Washington.
The hosts were absolute gems. They met us right at our site, welcomed us warmly, handed us a card with their contact info, and even gave us ear plugs (thoughtful touch!). They made it clear we could call anytime if we needed anything at all. That level of personal care set the tone for the whole stay.
The drive to the Gorge Amphitheater is super quick and easy, which was perfect after a long day. We loved coming back to total peace and quiet after the high-energy show. No party noise, no chaos—just calm, starry skies, and the most stunning view of the moon rising over those gentle hills. I sat outside soaking it in, feeling completely restored.
This experience was truly a blessing. The combination of convenient location, thoughtful hospitality, and that serene farm vibe made our mother-son trip unforgettable. We’re already planning our next visit!
