In the tent, you’ll find a luxurious and firm queen size bed and compact tables for storing your items. Up for exploring? Just stick to the mowed pathways and enjoy the different settings. A hammock waits in the shade of the cherry plum tree at the bottom of the property. My travel dog Thor and I had an exceptionally warm and cozy stop at this beautiful property en route to Golden BC. The field tent sits on a lovely deck overlooking a beautiful valley. With all the development in Spokane it is amazing that this beautiful semi urban area is so close to the city. We loved watching the sunset, deer in the field and stars at night. The tent and field kitchen are exceptionally well appointed. The bed is super comfy and the tent feels like a boutique hotel with all the hosts thoughtful touches. The host are lovely and great communicators. So glad they are sharing their little piece of Spokane valley paradise with people like me. We will be back with more time to relax, enjoy the tent, deck and the beautiful valley.

We absolutely loved our stay in Angela’s yurt enjoying the beautiful Glenrose area. Everything we needed was provided and farm fresh eggs were a treat. We enjoyed our stay at Sara's spot. The river was peaceful and she had all the things needed to have a pleasant experience - picnic table, lawn chairs, inner tube floaters and my favorite a glider rocking bench. When booking the site we thought we could drive in and out of the place to visit relatives in Spokane. Sara's place was perfectly situated to the city however the rough and rutty road to her rv parking spot was not something we wanted to drive on every day. Fortunately we found some different solutions and Sara was very patience and accommodating to our situation. She also communicates well through hip camp texting.

The Belle of Glenrose was a quaint and easy to access place to stay for the night. I enjoyed the warmly decorated inside of the yurt, as well as the deck with views of the valley. It was fun to see the chickens in the yard. Walking on the mowed trails was enjoyable, and having close proximity to the park trail up the road was an added bonus.

We truly enjoyed ourselves at The Bunk House. Stayed two nights. The amenties were on point and made it so easy to last minute plan a mini trip. We only needed food and clothes. We spent most of our days down at the river. The kids loved playing all day in the water. Floaties included. Sara is a very attentive host. Her two dog's were awesome and were great with our small baby dog. Great vibes! We will be back!!

This was the perfect little getaway our anniversary! Everything was so thoughtfully set up from the cozy string lights around the tents interior to the rustic kitchen equipped with all the tools needed to make a delicious breakfast & coffee. Sara has gone beyond expectations to make her land fun-filled, clean and attractive, and outfitted for a perfect camping experience. A thoughtful communicator and animal lover, Sara took the time necessary to introduce our dogs to each other and to us. They were delightful to be around. As for the river experience, it couldn't have been better...watching people on float-downs while we anchored in a big floatie (which she provided) all afternoon. The covered fire pit was surrounded by really nice chairs and plenty of firewood was nearby. What a great place to find right on the riverbank! We'll be back! Highly recommend!

The property, aptly named the Oasis years ago, is 34-acres of lawns, shade trees, ponds, and natural landscaping over 50 years in the making. The landscaping was started by Tom who still lives in the farmhouse. The Schierman family has owned this property for four generations. The Oasis is located in the rolling hills of the Palouse in eastern Washington State. The newly created Yonder Hills Disc Golf Course is a private 18 and 9-basket course with long and short pads for almost every basket. A mix of open lawn, wooded fairways, water hazards, and elevation changes. Day, overnight or weekly reservations must be made to enjoy this private course. The disc golf course is under construction with some layout changes on the last three baskets. It's playable but it isn't perfect yet. We had to shift focus to the barn restoration grant to meet the June 2025 deadline. This is a perfect basecamp to relax and unwind or be creative. Read in the lawn. Cook over the fire. Explore the Palouse. Disc golf anytime. Guests may bring their own private fire pits. Firewood is provided for the community fire pit. Yonder Hills can be reserved for larger group camps and private camping events. There is plenty of room for several vehicles and tailgate camping. Please contact us to request a reservation for a reunion, wedding, private party, disc golf tournament, or concert. There are no dedicated electrical hookups, sewage hookups, or potable water available at this time. Bottled or bulk water is available in in St. John five miles away. Electrical outlets in the gravel parking area can be used to charge small devices. We are constantly upgrading the property, look forward to better amenities as we grow. St. John has a bar/restaurant, grocery store, hardware stores, gas station, 2 hotel rooms, library, coffee and gift shops as well as a very nice 9-hole traditional golf course. There are numerous small towns, lakes, rivers/creeks, backroads, viewpoints, and historic stops around the Palouse region as well as amazing photography year round. Come for the abundant stars, the fall colors and brisk air, to socialize with other travelers, or to find the peace of the Palouse country.

Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. Farm=Dirt MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally. Bookings must be done though this site, we do not take payment for stays at the farm. Agriculture 101: In the early spring, fruit trees awaken from winter dormancy, bloom for a few weeks, and are pollinated by insects; the pollinated blossoms SLOWLY develop into fruit over the summer. As much as we’d like instant fruit in the spring, nature doesn’t work that way. Fruit development takes time.
