No need to choose site beforehand, just book and you can choose your site once you arrive as your party will be the only ones there to enjoy the great outdoors! After Memorial Day, there is a porta potty on site. There is a large firepit (when there isn’t a fire ban. Please do not use the already cut fire wood, that is our personal stash)There are trails all over for walking or there are trailheads just a short drive away if you want to hike. The river is a 30 second-1 minute walk from the campsite. Perfect area to pitch a hammock and enjoy the sounds of nature. The campground is 5 miles away from the Mazama Store which sells amazing food (sandwiches, pastries, cookies, and the famous Sea Salt Baguettes). There is also a portable basketball hoop and a tether ball pole. Group rates available. OCTOBER and MAY campers: There is no water, however you are still welcomed to camp.

Christine’s land was perfect for a quiet getaway. It is on a farm, so you do hear animals from a far distance. It was not annoying whatsoever. Plenty of room for larger tents or even multiple tents. The river access was really nice for sitting next to with a cocktail or early morning coffee. The toilet is a little bit of a walk, but I always bring my own.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the land! It was private and a great location for exploring North Cascades NP and the surrounding towns of Mazama and Winthrop. If you stay here be sure to visit the Mazama store and get a sandwich (breakfast or lunch only) and some homemade ice cream! The camping land has a stream on one side of it, unfortunately it was dry when we stayed there. We were hoping to set up some chairs and enjoy the cool water on a hot afternoon, but we wandered into the town of Winthrop instead. What a delight! It was like stepping into the Wild West. Highly recommend! The land does have power and water. Also a couple picnic tables and other tables for cooking, eating, etc. And a very clean portable-potty! (Confirm this with the host, I don’t think it’s there year round) Overall would recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! The site was spacious and very private, with beautifully maintained grounds and direct access to the river—it truly felt like our own little retreat in nature. The location was also perfect, just a short drive to town yet peaceful and secluded. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was the 2-hour horseback ride—an unforgettable adventure that the entire family loved! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene getaway with great amenities and amazing hosts.

My daughter and I loved this spot. Very quiet, friendly neighbors, walk to the Chilliwack river, and just a short drive to Chilliwack Lake. It’s a beautiful area with a well-maintained campsite. Weekend Trip to Chilliwack Lake Area - private site

We found this place perfect for our family. We have 2 young children and a dog. There is a beautiful trail that runs beside a river just down the road and chilliwack lake is only 10 minutes away. My 3 year old daughter was delighted to find a big Huckleberry bush on the property and around the neighborhood. I reccomend staying here!
