This Post Creek property (driveway, front yard, outhouse and cabin patio) is located in a small community of cabins located just outside the Chilliwack Provincial Park Boundary. Chilliwack Lake is located 4km up the road and Chilliwack River is 500m from the property. The property's location offers a convenient gateway to numerous outdoor activities for it's guests including hiking, biking, boating, swimming, fishing, campfires (when there is no ban in effect), paddle boarding, off road exploring, etc.. The highlights of the Valley include the Lindeman/Greendrop/Flora Lake trails (trail head located 2km away), Mount Cheam Peak, and Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park.

There is a rustic toilet with outdoor hot shower and sink facility. We also have a fire pit with outdoor kitchen (no electricity or running water, but it’s fully stocked with dishes, camping stove, and firewood).
Town is just a 10-minute walk away with access to the local grocery store, a Mexican restaurant, cafe, and brewery, but the property is so secluded that even locals don’t know we’re here!

This is our second stay at Joy's place this year. And we would book again for spring if it were an option. Super private... Super quiet. We heard 3 vehicles in the four days we were there. And it was a weekend! Joy's directions and communications were second to none.

We had a great time! The sites were a bit close together but it was only half capacity and we had the back half to ourselves. We caught Bass in the lake, went out in a motor boat with the dogs, found so many cool frogs, dragonflies, caterpillars, slugs, eagles, birds and so much more. Free firewood, nice site. Definitely enjoyed the stay!

What a beautiful location! The woods, the moss, the lake, the mountain view. The paddleboards, kayaks, motor boats, and peddle boats were such an amazing touch.
The campsites are very close together, just feet apart, so don't expect privacy. However, we ended up being the only ones there during our stay!
Also tons of birds for those who care about that :) ospreys, spotted towhee, northern rough-winged swallow, ravens, cedar waxwings, warbling vireos, robins, and black-throated gray warblers.

From the moment I pulled into this campsite I knew it was getting put down as one of my favorite go to campsites. The location next to the creek is honestly one of the best. The host gave directions to the gated camp site along with the camp site location with in and honestly they couldn’t have given a more detailed list of directions, thank you!!! It’s in a gated community but secluded and private enough for you to enjoy your time. The bathroom was clean, the lot was clean, and let me just say the beauty that lies within the gated community was a PLUS PLUS. I had problems with the lights it wasn’t an issue at all, because I was there to camp, but the host was definitely up and beyond very attentive to the problem which for sure made this one of my absolute favorite places I’ve camped at yet, so YES I will definitely be coming back here FOR SURE!!!

A bit difficult to find but a hidden gem once you do. Billy and Russell were excellent hosts, very friendly and quick to respond. All the campsites have the same amenities, gravel box for a tent, fire pit and a large picnic table. The lake has small mouth bass in it and we were getting nibbles all day and finally landed 2 just before dark. They have free peddle boats, small motorboats, an assortment of kayaks and life vests. They also provide their own wood for you to burn given there is no burn ban which is extremely helpful and easy. I would call the toilet a luxury pit, a little more than we expected.

It is a wonderful place to camp, very kind and polite staff, and the host (handsome Russel) is amazing. Beautiful calming lake with kayaks and paddle boats, free to the guests. Stayed on site 6, quiet and private. All the campsites are well equipped and free firewood. Definitely will be back

Camp sites very close together and small but no one was there so worked out. Platform can fit one large or 2 small tents. Picnic table, bathroom, kayaks etc are nice. We spent the day at Lake Shannon which was great. Camp host was kind and helpful. Golf cart is easy to use to transport. Despite fire ban not in effect we weren’t permitted to have one.

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The site was peaceful, spotless, and incredibly private — we didn’t have any neighbors, which made for such a relaxing experience. Having our own clean bathroom on site was a total game-changer for camping comfort. Joy was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and went above and beyond to make our trip even better. I highly recommend this site and would absolutely stay here again!

We booked campsite 1 but ended up moving to campsite 20 since the pad did not support our 10 person tent. Campsite 20 had extra gravel around the pad which made it longer. We are only a party 3 but like our space. Great picnic tables, firepits, and great trees to hang a hahammock. All campsites appear to be the same size with different configurations.. water is warm and we caught 2 bass the first 30 minutes on the lake. There are only two spots to fish off so you have to use a paddle boat to fish to get to the middle of the lake. Another camper told me it is 18 feet deep. I didn't ask where he got that info. I recommend campsites 1, 2, 19, 20 so you don't have to haul your stuff in via golf cart. I liked being close to the restroom. Normally I try to not be close at state parks because there is always a light that keeps me up, but here it gets completely dark. There is no light at all once it gets dark. Best stargazing. Mosquitos normally attack me where ever I go, but they weren't bad at all.
I recommend to always check with the host about fire bans. Hip camp had sent us an email that the fire ban was lifted and we could have fires. Luckily i messaged the host before we were going to leave and found that the message did not come from the host and there was still a ban in place, so speak directly with the host and don't go off the notifications.

My daughter and I loved this spot. Very quiet, friendly neighbors, walk to the Chilliwack river, and just a short drive to Chilliwack Lake. It’s a beautiful area with a well-maintained campsite. We will definitely keep Rachel and Andrew’s cute little getaway spot in mind for future camping experiences.

Clean and comfortable tent camping. Several options for placement with easy access to the on-site bathroom. We enjoyed relaxing next to the creek, and under the gazebo when it got warm, and walking the cabin/camping community when it was cool. Definitely plan to visit again!
