Great little spot in the North Cascades! Perfect for a small camper or for tent camping. Would definitely go back!
This is our second stay at Joy's place this year. And we would book again for spring if it were an option. Super private... Super quiet. We heard 3 vehicles in the four days we were there. And it was a weekend! Joy's directions and communications were second to none.
This is a host and property that is done right ....

Great spot tucked away in the woods with a flushing toilet!
From the moment I pulled into this campsite I knew it was getting put down as one of my favorite go to campsites. The location next to the creek is honestly one of the best. The host gave directions to the gated camp site along with the camp site location with in and honestly they couldn’t have given a more detailed list of directions, thank you!!! It’s in a gated community but secluded and private enough for you to enjoy your time. The bathroom was clean, the lot was clean, and let me just say the beauty that lies within the gated community was a PLUS PLUS. I had problems with the lights it wasn’t an issue at all, because I was there to camp, but the host was definitely up and beyond very attentive to the problem which for sure made this one of my absolute favorite places I’ve camped at yet, so YES I will definitely be coming back here FOR SURE!!!
We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The site was peaceful, spotless, and incredibly private — we didn’t have any neighbors, which made for such a relaxing experience. Having our own clean bathroom on site was a total game-changer for camping comfort. Joy was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and went above and beyond to make our trip even better. I highly recommend this site and would absolutely stay here again!
The campsite was very nice, I would definitely book again. The main area is all gravel but fairly level with options to place a few tents. Unfortunately I didn't stay long, but the site was very private and quiet - no one drove by while I was there and basically all I could hear at night was the sound of the creek. I'm not sure why they don't have any pictures of the interior of the bathroom on the posting - it's a full on indoor bathroom with a flushing toilet, sink, and lights like you would have in a small house - glamping vibes. The one thing I will mention is that check-in and check-out was via a lock box up in Marblemount - it was right on the way for me and I had to go to the permit office in town after checkout anyway, but if you're choosing the site for proximity down Cascade River Road you may have to backtrack a bit for checkout. Joy was very communicative, so she may be able to accommodate a different checkout situation if needed.

Clean and comfortable tent camping. Several options for placement with easy access to the on-site bathroom. We enjoyed relaxing next to the creek, and under the gazebo when it got warm, and walking the cabin/camping community when it was cool. Definitely plan to visit again!

Great spot! Apple Maps takes you to the wrong entrance so recommend using google.
Joy and Jason really care about, and understand, what is important to campers like us. We backed our trailer in and we were level without having to fuss with blocks or anything. There is a lockable bathroom with a flush toilet and sink with with running water (cold only, but soooo nice after dealing with portable potties and outhouses with most of our other stays). The bathroom is beautifully finished and stocked (take note other hipcamps!). There is this very nice gazebo with a table and chairs that seats six. Furthermore, it has both a wind screen AND a bug screen! There was bottled water and telescopic roasting sticks for s'mores or hotdogs in the bucket on the table. The fire pit is enormous, well made and is surrounded by 6 Aderondac chairs that have drink AND phone holders. Very cool! We also appreciated having running water on the property. There are stairs down to the creek where they built a space for a couple of chairs so you can sit and enjoy the water and get relief from the heat.
Day three, Joy and Jason came to check on us to see if we needed anything. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. In fact, my wife and I booked our next stay before our trip was even over!
Our stay was over the 4th of July weekend and we counted less than ten cars the entire time we were there. We also did not hear another human the entire time. Just Perfect!
As advertised. A relaxing place by the creek that is well taken care of. The cutest bathroom building ever with the flush toilet was a major plus. The little details of home throughout. The sound of the creek was so relaxing. Highly recommend. Joy gave detailed directions in an email and the pick of and drop off of the keys was very easy at the gas station.
I don’t even know where to start! This has got to be my favorite camping experience to date. Especially with kids in tow! The site is beautifully maintained, has a super clean bathroom and running water, spacious fire pit/lounge chair area and a gazebo with netting which was perfect for keeping the bugs out, eating meals together and doing puzzles as a family. I’m already trying to plan my trip back! Joy is wonderful and really cares about the folks staying at the property and was available for anything we needed. I’m really looking forward to staying again, falling asleep to the sound of the soothing creek, and exploring the area more. Thank you, Joy! What you have here is really special.
The campsite is very well maintained. The instructions from the host were accurate. It was a beautiful campsite to spend the night listening to the creek flow beside you. Washroom was clean and well stocked. The pergola had electric outlets to charge 2 devices which came in handy.

This was the perfect spot to camp for my birthday weekend! It comfortably fit 5 tents and 4 cars!! The creek was so lovely to fall asleep to, the fire pit was perfect for a nighttime fire, and the hosts communicated promptly and efficiently. I would recommend anyone to stay here if they’d like to have a great weekend. The place was a bit hard to find, but the hosts gave great instructions on how to find it.
Joy's spot is absolutely a hidden gem right at the entrance to the North Cascades.
I am not kidding when I say this was one of the best HipCamp experiences I've had. The spot was right next to a babbling creek, which was heaven to fall asleep to.
Having a flushable toilet and running water was next level and really made the experience so enjoyable. We sat in the gazebo when it rained, and had a fire in the fire pit when it cleared up. The neighborhood itself was gorgeous and was really enjoyed walking our dog in the area.
The property is very secluded, so be sure to follow the map closely once you're in the neighborhood. Picking up the key in town was very straight forward.
I'm already planning my next trip. Highly recommend.
This was our first time booking through Hipcamp, and it did not disappoint! We had such a great and peaceful camping experience. The campsite was well laid out with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The screened-in gazebo was perfect for keeping the bugs away while we enjoyed our meals.
We loved sitting around the built-in fire pit making s’mores in the evening—it added such a cozy touch to our stay. Having a plumbed bathroom on-site was a huge plus, and the access to the creek added an extra level of tranquility. Falling asleep to the sound of the water at night was incredibly soothing.
We brought our e-bikes and enjoyed exploring the park, and our three dogs had a blast too! There was plenty of privacy, and the whole setup felt very thoughtful and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!
