We had a great time! The sites were a bit close together but it was only half capacity and we had the back half to ourselves. We caught Bass in the lake, went out in a motor boat with the dogs, found so many cool frogs, dragonflies, caterpillars, slugs, eagles, birds and so much more. Free firewood, nice site. Definitely enjoyed the stay!

Free firewood, recreational kayaks, paddle boats and fishing boats with electric trawling motors. Close enough to Seattle to get there quickly but far enough away to breathe fresh mountain air. Really enjoyed our time!

What a beautiful location! The woods, the moss, the lake, the mountain view. The paddleboards, kayaks, motor boats, and peddle boats were such an amazing touch.
The campsites are very close together, just feet apart, so don't expect privacy. However, we ended up being the only ones there during our stay!
Also tons of birds for those who care about that :) ospreys, spotted towhee, northern rough-winged swallow, ravens, cedar waxwings, warbling vireos, robins, and black-throated gray warblers.

A bit difficult to find but a hidden gem once you do. Billy and Russell were excellent hosts, very friendly and quick to respond. All the campsites have the same amenities, gravel box for a tent, fire pit and a large picnic table. The lake has small mouth bass in it and we were getting nibbles all day and finally landed 2 just before dark. They have free peddle boats, small motorboats, an assortment of kayaks and life vests. They also provide their own wood for you to burn given there is no burn ban which is extremely helpful and easy. I would call the toilet a luxury pit, a little more than we expected.

It is a wonderful place to camp, very kind and polite staff, and the host (handsome Russel) is amazing. Beautiful calming lake with kayaks and paddle boats, free to the guests. Stayed on site 6, quiet and private. All the campsites are well equipped and free firewood. Definitely will be back

Camp sites very close together and small but no one was there so worked out. Platform can fit one large or 2 small tents. Picnic table, bathroom, kayaks etc are nice. We spent the day at Lake Shannon which was great. Camp host was kind and helpful. Golf cart is easy to use to transport. Despite fire ban not in effect we weren’t permitted to have one.

Very beautiful, my sons loved all the frogs and paddle boarding on the lake. I didn’t know
Until we got there that you can’t park at your campsite so if the camp host isn’t there you have to lug it all. Very clean, life jackets and wood to use which was awesome. We spent most of our time right by the bridge on the Sauk river and it was gorgeous!

We booked campsite 1 but ended up moving to campsite 20 since the pad did not support our 10 person tent. Campsite 20 had extra gravel around the pad which made it longer. We are only a party 3 but like our space. Great picnic tables, firepits, and great trees to hang a hahammock. All campsites appear to be the same size with different configurations.. water is warm and we caught 2 bass the first 30 minutes on the lake. There are only two spots to fish off so you have to use a paddle boat to fish to get to the middle of the lake. Another camper told me it is 18 feet deep. I didn't ask where he got that info. I recommend campsites 1, 2, 19, 20 so you don't have to haul your stuff in via golf cart. I liked being close to the restroom. Normally I try to not be close at state parks because there is always a light that keeps me up, but here it gets completely dark. There is no light at all once it gets dark. Best stargazing. Mosquitos normally attack me where ever I go, but they weren't bad at all.
I recommend to always check with the host about fire bans. Hip camp had sent us an email that the fire ban was lifted and we could have fires. Luckily i messaged the host before we were going to leave and found that the message did not come from the host and there was still a ban in place, so speak directly with the host and don't go off the notifications.

Spearhead Lake is incredible! The views are beautiful. At one point we had the lake all to ourselves. Also, Russel was a wonderful host. He provided us with great insider knowledge on local hiking. We would definitely go again!

Lovely, peaceful site on lake equipped with paddle boats and kayaks. The host and his staff were friendly and accommodating- even with our reservation mistake (our fault). Cleanest toilet at campsite I've ever experienced! Highly recommend. We didn't want to leave!

I recently stayed at this campsite over the Fourth of July weekend, and overall, it was a beautiful spot. The natural surroundings were truly stunning — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. However, there were a few drawbacks that impacted our stay.
The campsites were much closer together than expected, which made it feel a bit crowded and took away from the sense of privacy we were hoping for. Additionally, we were told there would be access to a golf cart to help transport our gear, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available for our departure. This made leaving a bit more difficult than anticipated.
That said, it was a holiday weekend, and it seemed like the staff may have been overwhelmed with the number of guests. It’s possible that under normal circumstances, things run more smoothly. With a few improvements in communication and spacing, this could be an outstanding campground.

The campsites were a bit smaller than expected and were also pretty close together. But otherwise everything was great and as advertised. Toilet was kept clean and stocked with toilet paper. Host was friendly and made sure everyone had firewood.

This place is a gem. Lovely lake and kind fellow campers. Our child made multiple friends with neighboring families and kids enjoyed catching tadpoles together! Great lake access for peaceful paddling. So nice that they have kayaks, a pedal boat and a paddleboard for camper use. Russell, Jessie and Megan weee wonderful hosts.

Absolutely Beautiful and So Much Fun!!
We had such an amazing time at this campsite! It was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. We stayed at Campsite 1, which was ideally located right next to the lake and parking, making it super easy to unload our things. Even if we had stayed further away, they thoughtfully provided a golf cart service to help transport your gear to your site, which was a great touch.
The entire place was well-maintained, peaceful, and pet-friendly, which made it even better since we could bring our furry friend along. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure each campsite had everything it needed. You can tell they really care about making your stay enjoyable and stress-free.
We loved our time here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and well-run camping experience!

Had an awesome stay at Spearhead/Caskey Lake. When you reach the no trespassing signs, just keep driving until you see the little camp sign. I do recommend they put more signs up to advertise that there is camping that far back. I think it would help get more people in there. The host stays on site in a little camper and is there to greet you and show you around. They provided a case of water and firewood and helped us haul our gear to our site in a golf cart. We spent a couple of hours out on the lake in the on site kayaks. Got to see tons of tad poles in the lake which was pretty cool. Once youre out on the water, youre surrounded by the sound of all the birds singing. There is also a nearby river to explore and a few hiking spots. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning.

My stay at the campground was terrific. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was very dark and I so appreciated that no one used bright outdoor lights. The star gazing was awesome. Thank you to the hosts and to the tribe for keeping this gem so well maintained.

The campsite's are pristine and in avery nice layout. We had a quick stop heading further north but looks like a great spot and would come again. Bathroom was also spotless, didn't see a speck of trash, and really are taking great care if the area and guests

Spearhead Lake Campground was very picturesque and well-maintained. Each site had its own leveled tent area, picnic table, and fire pit. While vehicles are not allowed at the individual sites, they do have a golf cart you can use to haul your equipment from the parking lot to your site. Firewood, use of the on-site boats, and fishing are free to campers. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Getting there is a bit tricky as you're only given GPS coordinates. Ignore the "No Motorized Vehicles" and the "No Trespassing" Signs. If you see them, you're on the right track.

We enjoyed our stay at spearhead lake. We arrived and were immediately greeted by camp host. We booked campsite two but that was occupied. We ended up staying at campsite seven. It was tucked back and secluded. It was a bit of a walk to the bathroom to keep that in mind with little ones. My family enjoyed swimming, fishing and having access to the recreational equipment! We can’t wait to come back!
