The mouth of the Lyre River flows right alongside our beach — just a short walk from where you’ll be staying. The nearby Elwha River and surrounding recreation areas provide endless opportunities for fishing, kayaking, or hiking. Or, simply relax and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves and the panoramic views of the Canadian coast across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

With consistent waves rolling in across the Strait and nearby spots like Low Point, this area draws surfers year-round who love its peaceful vibe and uncrowded waters. Whether you’re an experienced surfer chasing the perfect swell or just want to watch the locals carve the waves at sunset, it’s an unforgettable part of the beach experience here.
