Quiet minimal campsite in a lovely grassy area amongst trees and foliage. Easy to find and check-in. Close to hiking.

One big, grassy field with sites lined up. Site #6 was at the very end so if you set up right, you might get better privacy than the other sites. No service and close to Lake Quinault. Next to a road so you might hear cars, but otherwise it's pretty quiet.

Perfect spot for our one night stay! Just a few miles from Lake Quinault (South Shore), campsite was well maintained and site spacious enough for our campervan. The property was very quiet and peaceful. The mountain views were incredible. We especially enjoyed sunset and watching the herd of 40+ elk grazing down the road. The sites appear to be close together, and there were no other campers, so can 't really comment on crowded/not crowded, or noise concerns. Would we come back? Absolutely. Happy Camping!

It's a small pasture surrounded by beautiful trees, there is no privacy from other campers but the sites are spread out. The site was all lush green grass even in Aug, I walked around barefoot most of the time. The huge maple trees were gorgeous, especially at sunset and sunrise. Negatives: our site was in direct afternoon sun (91° that day) it was hot, I asked Kellie a question through HC and she never answered, and the port-a-john was pretty gross, no toilet paper, hadn't been cleaned in 6 days.

Overall our experience here was fine. The location is terrific, the camping field is level and comfortable. The issue is that there are too many campsites crammed into a fairly small space. I would say there is room for 3, maybe 4 parties to camp here comfortably, but there are 7 sites laid out very tightly in a narrow open field. At full capacity it would feel like camping at a festival. I get it, there’s few camping options in this popular area, and we were lucky to have a reservable spot to explore the Quinault. If you stay here but are concerned about privacy, try to get site 1- its closest to the road and the pit toilet, but its the only spot without another site directly across from you. Speaking of toilets, they probably need two in the summer months, it was out of toilet paper and getting full when we were there. The host was communicative, the area is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the ripe blackberries bordering the field.

We were having trouble finding a campsite and were relieved to book here last minute. That said, we were a bit disappointed. The sites are very close together, and it felt more like a shared field than individual campsites. If you enjoy primitive or private camping, this probably isn’t the spot for you. One frustrating moment was when other campers changed clothes right in the middle of the shared area, which felt uncomfortable and inconsiderate. Other than that great spot, beautiful scenery.

Clean site and easy to find, no service in that area so make sure to put in the address before entering the park. Had one porta potty. Site was luckily not completely booked, with this said we had enough space.

Easy too find, convenient and exactly as described. We were by ourselves most of the night so the place felt spacious. Thank you for the lovely grass field to camp in! We appreciate it!

Listing needed better details and photos. It does not explain your just in an open field where others are camping. Being near the lake and rain forest is nice but I don’t think I’d come back again. I never got any contact from the hose as mentioned when I booked and with no service in the area there was no way to call.

Overall we had a great experience because we ended up having the whole place to ourselves.
The individual sites were pretty close together though and didn't feel as private as we expected. Had there been more people I think it would’ve been fine but just something to keep in mind if that bothers you. #3 has a great view of the sunset in between the trees.

Kellie was soooo nice and helpful. We loved the little grove. It was kept up beautifully and it was the perfect spot to stay after a day at Lake Quinault. We’d definitely stay here again.

Felt safe, was only one in lot. Well maintained. But expensive for what it is. $50 total to park in the lot. Worked in a pinch but wouldn’t plan to come back.

We had an amazing stay at this campsite. The location was easy to find and just a short drive from lake Quinault.
One of the highlights was how peaceful and private it was. The surrounding nature was gorgeous!!
The porta potty was clean and well-kept.

Large space, enough that you don't interact with other campers. About 5 camp sites on a very large area. The entrance is the second left, the one just after a rambler that's rented out as AirBnB.

Great safe and open camp spot. Ended up having the space to ourselves. Port-a-potty was a nice addition! Beautiful area. Would stay again!

The site was really pretty & very close to the Lake Quinault area! It was so nice sleeping under the trees & hearing the sound of rain on the tent. There is no potable water which was a bit of a bummer after a long trip of camping around Olympic. Bathroom wasn’t too bad, although we got a few wiffs from it at campsite 7.

Campground was a place to sleep in a grassy field with a portapotty, no running water as far as I could tell. We got there late and left early so didn't really explore the site much. Overall the location was ideal and there was availability day of which was great, but given the amenities the price was a bit higher than I would've expected. First time using hipcamp so hard to compare.

The 7 sites are all along a big open field, each along the perimeter of the field. The sites were clearly labeled with a wooden post with a number on it. The field was well-maintained, and the porta potty was in excellent shape. Had a lovely and restful night sleep!

Really nice flat sites. The Port-o-potty was nice and clean. We could hear roosters crowing in the morning. Super peaceful! Would book again if we’re traveling in the area. Thank you!

The campsite was clean, quiet, and nice! I would just recommend more specific instructions/signage on where exactly to park near the portable toilet, since that part wasn't clear to me!
