Cardinal's Camp is an ideal spot for small RV's and campers to come and relax in a country setting. We have a gorgeous covered area and deck with propane mini BBQ and bench seating, full water and 30 amp power hook-ups, and beautiful views of the surrounding farm fields and a one hundred year old barn (PLEASE don't access the barn area or fields, it's not ours but the views are great!)
Lots to do around the area, including Finnriver Cidery, hiking in the Olympic Mountains and the Victorian town of Port Townsend. We now have decent wifi you can use, so option to
come and work remotely! (Unfortunately we don't have tons of space for kids or dogs to run around, but definitely plenty of nice grassy area to set up tents, yard games and a campfire).
Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please.
Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

18 acres of the property is agricultural land that is open space. The owners have a small garden and some fruit trees that are for owner's use only, but you are happy to walk around and tour the garden. Approximately 5 acres of the property is mowed for recreational use.
There is a dock for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or boating. The lake is open to boats, but no jet skis are allowed. You can bring your own water toys and play on the lake all day. There is open space for camping but no running water. The property has a firepit and porta potty for campers use.
You will likely see wildlife like eagles (nest nearby), deer, geese, ducks, birds and of course clear, starry night, skies.
*This is a working farm so while often you will have the property to yourself and other campers the owners may be present, occasionally, to work on farm projects and property maintenance in the periphery. We will always be respectful or your space and keep our projects to reasonable hours.

We absolutely loved staying here. We booked Drive in site #13 and it was private and super cozy! Bathroom and hot shower was + + + The host was really accommodating and has an incredibly beautiful garden we were able to utilize at mealtimes. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Just what we needed to relax. Large grass area with, fire pit, chairs, picnic table and dock to access lake. We did lots off SUP and swimming. Dogs enjoyed the freedom and swimming in the lake. Host was super nice and responsive.

Our group really enjoyed camping at this beautiful lakefront site. It was lovely to wake up to a view of the water and surrounding hills. We had fun paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. We appreciated having the space all to ourselves. Picking some of the most delicious blackberries on site was a bonus! The only downsides to the site were a porta potty that needed servicing and some frequent noise from a power washer and other equipment being used by the host.

Our group enjoyed being lakeside at this beautiful site. Having access to our own dock was fantastic. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. Getting to pick blackberries in season on the site was an extra bonus.

We had a great camping trip. We lucked out with the weather and had a great time paddleboarding and having a fire right by the lake's edge. Bald Eagles perched nearby, birds playing games with a feather above us, and a very curious bunny who kept coming by to check on us!
We'll definitely come back!

This was a fun spot! Direct lake access. Big field for activities. Spacious gravelled fire pit area with solar lights. Looked very new. Privacy from neighborhood homes. Lake edge had thick tall reeds which added to the privacy from the lake side. Portapotty was clean and well stocked. So much bird watching! There was a bald eagle's nest in the trees nearby and a golden eagles nest on the for side of the lake. Really enjoyed watching them hunt in the lake.
Things to consider:
1. The site is a large open field directly against the lake. The only shade is two apple trees that shade the portapotty. Bring something to shade yourself.
2. This is goose territory. They wandered around nearby but didn't come near the site. There was a good amount of goose poop around the site though. Didn't impact our stay at all!
3. There is a gas station very close to the site. A break in the tree line silhouette the sign perfectly. We definitely snuck over to grab more ice (and ice cream).
