Weekend Trip to Wildfern Grove
I loved the yurt we stayed in! A bit colder around this time, but they had heaters that kept us warm at night! We utilized the common area which was very nice. Met some nice people too.

We had a wonderful stay, sad we didn't get a longer visit. There is tons of places to explore and we would definitely love to come back.
The folks were helpful, kind and welcoming. Definitely has a family friendly welcome. The yurt was warm even though it was pouring all night long. First night we left heat on low, second night we left it off. They have probably one of the most well appointed kitchens we have ever seen, big and roomy. There are games and books and seating. Big family style table for games and dining. Like home away from home with loads of hiking trails near by. We brought our dogs and they had a blast.
Next time we come to visit I wont be in class all day.
We cannot say enough about how beautiful it is in camp and the surrounding area.
100% recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in the yurt! Plenty of bedding, towels, utensils for cooking and eating. No baking sheet, we used aluminum foil instead with no issue. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts. Will be back!

2 nights at Two Frog Bog
This was the perfect spot to come back to after a long day of hiking and exploring! It was nestled in the woods and was peaceful and cozy. The bed was super comfortable ( the heated mattress pad was a game changer) and the yurt had everything we needed to cook. The bath house was also super cute and different! I loved the tile. It’s about 45 minutes from a Rainier park entrance which is perfect if you want to be in close proximity but avoid staying in the park. The hosts were very kind and communicative and the location was easy to find. I would definitely recommend this magical little hideaway!

The Paisley Yurt was beautiful and very homey! The bed and couch were comfortable, the lighting warm, and the kitchen stocked with dishes and a lovely assortment of tea. The bathroom had a generous offering of bath salts, and bubble baths for the big tub. As two women travelers, the property and hosts felt very safe. Elona & Jim were friendly, responsive, and warm hosts. Would recommend to others!

1 night at Juliane Henry’s Equestrian
Fun evening on a horse farm. The yurt was small and cozy - just enough space for the queen air mattress and two small single pads. We enjoyed watching the horses, loved the mountain view at sunset, and had a fun campfire.
A few things to help future travelers. It's a big property, so I was glad I messaged the host beforehand to ask directions to the yurt. We couldn't find the restroom, so I had to knock on the door at the house to get directions (it's in the center entrance of the horse barn). We also weren't sure where to get water and never found the petting farm area with small animals. It would be helpful if the host made a map of the property to show guests where things are.

Weekend Trip to Wildfern Grove
This is my favorite getaway place. It's simple and gracious, a beautiful setting for a peaceful retreat or rest. It isn't too far from Mount Rainier and other good hiking areas, but right now, unfortunately, the primary road down to Rainier is closed because of a bridge problem and another road that would have gone to alternative areas was also closed from a bridge problem, so I do recommend checking road access to special places before you go. Note, this is August 2025, so hopefully the roads will be reopened before too long. Nevertheless, this is a truly amazing place. I love the yurts, the giant maples and the meadows. There's also a community house with a kitchen that is incredibly well stocked and a lovely
community living room there also very gracious. There's a cedar hot tub on the deck, which is quite lovely. They've upgraded now and have compostable toilets and hand washing stations. Another note, there is no electricity in the yurts, and while they provide simple lanterns. Next time, I will for sure bring a larger battery and electric lamp. for when I need more light and to charge up my phone. There is a charging station in the community house,.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Juliane's ranch! The yurt was clean and had comfortable mattresses waiting for us. The place is especially magical if you have little ones. My 5 year old was in heaven being surrounded by horses and visiting the petting zoo. Right across from the driveway is a short path to take a dip in the river. We did get a lot of bug bites even with bug spray, but that's just how it goes sometimes. We also scheduled a horseback & pony ride for the morning after which was absolutely wonderful. The view of Mt. Si from camp is Hosts were warm and friendly, and my daughter won't stop asking when we can go back. Thank you for having us!

A really special place! We loved our conversation with two of the long-term residents. Very communal, natural feel. Everything was labeled, clean, and well-stocked, and our yurt bed was extremely comfortable, too. Easy gravel driveway.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The area was beautiful and peaceful and the hurt was comfortable. My husband and I were bikepacking so it was nice to have a break from setting up the tent. I let the host know ahead of time that we would be arriving late and she told me where everything was on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

The sites were a lil close together but the yurt was adorable and cozy. It did get a little warm but felt really nice on the colder nights. The owners were doing renovations so was a bit loud during the afternoon but once construction stopped it was very peacefull. The kitchen had everything you could ever need and the hot tub was super relaxing, especially after all dat hiking. I loved the vibes of the owners and the property. Very romantic!

The grounds were amazing. The Dome was so full of amenities the bathroom was immaculate. The other guest were awesome. We’re coming back this time. I’ll be more prepared the year did quite get quite hot. Other than that. We’re coming back again.

What a great stay in the heart yurt--would certainly recommend! There are showers both in the common area and outdoor showers (both with hot water!!). There are a whole bunch of shared items in the kitchen are and board games and instruments in the common area too. Access instructions were clear and straightforward and a binder/booklet was provided on the table to orient guests to all of the amenities. The bed was comfy and warm with nice sheets and pillows that were on the firmer side. The hosts and people working here were kind and welcoming and helpful whenever I needed anything. There's a toilet in the common area as well as composting toilets closer to the yurts. The composting toilets were v nice--the nicest I've encountered! All around great stay!
The one thing that could have been frustrating (didn't become a problem till the morning I was leaving) was that there was a leak around a window which allowed a slow dribble of water into the yurt. Probably easily fixable with some caulk or something?

My kids and I loved this quick little getaway to the mountains! The yurt had plenty of room for all of us. The views are spectacular and there was no boredom found with a play set and animals to look at and pet, like goats, bunnies, pigs, horses and more! Juliane even gave both my kiddos a pony ride! Right across the road there’s a peaceful spot right on the river to hang out with and the location is super close to town for dining and shopping. Highly recommend!

Wonderful and majestic people. The yurts were comfortable to stay in, the hospitality of everyone was inviting, and the feeling of just being on the property was lovely. Lots of things to do and places to unwind. Hot tub was quite relaxing. 10/10 would yurt again
