Visit Vashon Island and relax on a private estate property. Camp overlooking Puget Sound, walk the trail down to the secluded beach and enjoy 1000 ft. of peaceful waterfront. There are sometime burn bans for air quality and/or high fire danger. fires are allowed AT THE BEACH, below the high tide line, between October 1 and June 15, but there are various reasons they may not be allowed (air quality bans, windy conditions, etc.) Any fire you light must be put out COLD (no steam, no heat) with water and buried with sand before leaving them unattended. You are responsible for any damage or injuries caused by a fire you start, so please be careful! Please note: It is very important that the number of people on site is accurate. Please contact Hipcamp to change the number of people - there currently is no way to do that on the site?! There is an additional charge per person above the base 2 person rate. Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. Our rental property was once a mini Rail Road with full size locomotive's, train cars, pumper cars and more. My dad & grandpa layed all the tracks & put together the buildings in the 1970's. Once done my grandma sold tickets to the tourist and my grandpa ran the engine around the 7 acre oval track pulling a train car full of happy tourist through the woods over the train bridge and past the big water tower back to their vehicles so they could finish their journies with a drive to Mt. This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! We are located 1hr and 40 minutes from Mount Rainier National Park and 2.5 hrs south of Seattle. We have 3 tent sites and 2 tent/RV sites available. For the RV sites, we can accommodate vehicles under 45ft in length and the sites are flat. Electrical hookup available: Both 30 amp plus 50 amp hookups are suitable for RV and electric vehicle charging. Regular Electric sockets are also available in the studio barn for charging devices. Water hookup available and TV hookup available. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. Pets are allowed. Flush toilet available. Potable water is available. This place is awesome! Dawson has done an amazing job with creating the space. It has everything you could need! You can really tell a lot of thought has gone into the place and a lot of work has been involved. We had the best time and were so cozy together. We were lucky to have rain over night and it was so peaceful listening to the rain on the roof as we fell asleep. The directions provided made it very easy to find and a couple of wagons and a lantern are available to help you get your things out to the cabin. As we came in November, we didn’t get the opportunity to use the outdoor space. But we still braved using the shower and it’s worth it, so toasty and incredible views! Inside is cozy and comfortable. The kitchenette has everything you could need. That bed though! So comfy, as someone who deals with chronic pain, I really appreciate how comfortable the bed is! It was really nice to get off grid a little and put our phones away for the night. We had such a good time we are definitely looking to come back again next year in the summer hopefully! If you get the chance to stay here, do it!

Please write me with any questions you have. I have a rental cabin (Spring Creek Cabins) in the area too that is closer to Lake Cle Elum. Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving. Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds. Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you. You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky. No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes.
