We are located just outside Duvall, WA. Our Dome features one Queen size bed and one couch that converts to a bed (slightly smaller than a queen). We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there. A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet. There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good! There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there. There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home. Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

They purchased truck loads of scrap glass to resell as fish glass, which is still seen today in the parking lot. They grew bamboo and sold imperfect veggies that farmers were going to throw away. Eventually they landed on Christmas trees. To expand their ventures, they leased this land for many years then eventually sold the Delveccio land and purchsed this farm in 1998. The parking lot is behind trees, approx 50 ft from the main road which has regular daily traffic and noise driving by at the top of the site. It quiets down after work in the evenings. Dogs bark because they are dogs, but when you go deep into the forest you can barely hear the road or the dogs. The parking area can only be located there, in order to maintain the ecology of Ames Creek. The entrance is down through either of two driveways from the main road, on a horseshoe loop drive-through, to the L-shaped parking lot. Tent camping is 4 to 6 total soft pads in the forest near the parking sites. Note: Ames Creek does dry up in mid-summer. For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill. This is a great private spot for an RV or similar vehicles and 2 tent circles. A firepit, and porta-potty next to each pad, another firepit in one of the 2 tent circles for each RV parking pad site. A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on. Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter. It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground! Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails. We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it! Please remember to bring an extension cord to access power. There are fire pits. When possible firewood is provided gratis in the woodshed. Welcome to our paradise and enjoy forest bathing which can reduce stress, lower blood pressure and improve sleep quality, which our guests are saying they experience here. We offer 2/3 of an acre with 150' of riverfront access. Breath taking views of Mt Pilchuck framed by tall trees along the Riverbanks. You have access to the whole property including the cabin porch, firepit and BBQ, and direct access to the river. Weekend Trip to Roney River Ranch (R3)

We had a lovely Fall stay this weekend in our little camper. We loved the sounds of the coyote calls through the night. They were quite talkative but it was fun to hear the wildlife around us! My dog really enjoyed having the freedom and space to run and play. The quaint town of Duvall is super close so we enjoyed a beautiful brunch before packing up for home.

Weekend Trip to Simple Roots Ranch

We had a wonderful stay at the potting shed for our 2nd anniversary! Dave and Sharon are great and hospitable hosts who have put so much love and care into their property and this cabin. We had everything we needed and more and even though it was a very rainy weekend, we still got to enjoy the trails and gardens on the property with some raincoats on!! We woke up on our last morning to some delicious muffins dropped off in the kitchen and Dave cut us some mushrooms to take home with us! The kitchen was well-stocked and with it being super chilly outside the shower and kitchen sink still got warm!! This is such a cozy and peaceful place with all of the amenities that you’d need but with an outdoorsy glamping perk! We will definitely be back!

1 night at Duvalla Dome

i had a lovely time staying at the Duvalla Dome! the property and the dome itself were beautiful! It was very comfy and cozy with all the amenities while still feeling very rustic and outdoorsy. Pam was so nice and very responsive to messages and all the animals on the farm were a joy to have around. I highly recommend Duvalla dome to any other hipcampers visiting the area and would 10/10 stay there again!

What a hidden gem! This campground is incredibly relaxing and spacious - the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. Each site feels private and peaceful, surrounded by nature and plenty of room to spread out. The walking trails are absolutely beautiful, winding through lush, old-growth forests that feel almost magical. You can hear the birds, smell the fresh pine, and completely unwind. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves quiet camping and stunning natural scenery.

Weekend Trip to Duvalla Dome

Pam’s dome was beautiful! It was such a unique stay! We loved how she created this dome, what a treat. The setting was even more magical with the friendly goats, llamas, and alpacas roaming on the farm; they added so much charm and character to the experience. We spent the evenings around the cozy bonfire, surrounded by plenty of beautiful woodwork that gave the whole place a warm, rustic feel. Everything felt so thoughtfully designed and peaceful, truly a perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Hawthorn Farm

This is a truly pristine forest setting for your camping. This is exactly what we were looking for and strangely in this area there are practically no sites with lush forest like this. On top of that, Alexia was fantastic host to show us everything and made us feel welcome.There’s even a farm where you can go visit the animals and just experience a peaceful way of life. Can’t recommend this place enough and we will return for our annual night out of camping again next year.

2 nights at Moonsmoke Woods

Big, clean, private campsite. Its closer to the road than I thought it’d be but it’s a private residential road and there were only a handful of cars that were blocked by the trees. The location is quick and easy to get to from the city but still feels remote and private. It was a great spot for my dog. The nature trail is pretty and goes through dense fern covered forest. Only thing is I wish check-in time was a little bit earlier, at least in October, because I had to rush to set up camp before it got dark. Overall do recommend!

We can't thank the hosts enough for such a magical stay. From The moment we stepped on property to the opening of the doors to the potting shed. Our minds bodies and hearts were at Peace. So glad we were able to spend our annversay on this amazing property. This getaway has been everything a more. Our family has a chance to connect with nature with each other while also enjoying individual solo time wonder the property. The fire pit and s’mores were our favorite. Second favorite were the dogs and picking flowers and learning about the Property. Even on a semi chilly fall day our body’s heart and soul were kept warm the entire stay. My daughter really enjoyed her loft and the WiFi. We slept sooo comfortably and cozy in the shed. This has been one of our favorite family getaway to date. Hopefully we will return in the near future. With gratitude from our family to yours

It's a fun tree house which is perfect for a family of 4. Our kids loved playing board games, watching TV, etc. The host was super generous and even provided homemade cookies. The bathroom situation is quite interesting with an emergency solution inside the tree house and the primary toilet in a portapotty a few steps away from the tree house.

This was our first experience with Hipcamp and it was amazing! Paula is a great host. The site was quiet which cannot be said of traditional camping options. The shower set up was right out of a spa, so relaxing during a rain shower. The location is great with a quick walk to the river and a short drive to town. We plan to check out the cabins next time. I definitely recommend!

We have just added a gas’s fire-pit and a metal grill/camp stove cart.

12 nights at Rockin’ Z Ranch

We spent 12 nights here in September and absolutely loved it! We used it as a base camp while visiting family in Seattle. Their horse trail connects to a wonderful public trail system. The campground is scenic, secure, quiet, and private. We definitely plan to camp here again with our 26’ travel trailer. HELPFUL TIPS: 1) There is a dump station only 5 miles away at Carnation Storage Center for $9.00. 2) The entrance road to Rockin Z drops a very steep 10 degrees off of Hwy 202…out of an abundance of caution, I’d recommend disconnecting your weight distribution/load bars before arrival and departure to eliminate the remote chance of folding your A-frame (an event that wouldn’t be covered by your frame warranty.)
