I continue to try to be a good steward to this little piece of land with very big trees. One side faces my studio with drive through access to a bunkhouse and hookups and the other is tent camping with room to explore. With a dog yard available you will be able to relax and enjoy. Learn more about this land: Part meadow part stand of very tall trees, over 70 years old with birds, hummingbirds, deer. Choose to camp there or in a wheelchair excessable drive next to a 1940 era grocery store that is now my pottery studio. A large bunkhouse is also on site in case of rain, if not rented. We have a communal fire pit in the middle of the 3 acre parcel, 7 sites in total and a clean and new Porta-Potty toilet. There is no water on site so please bring your own water. You may also bring your own portable propane fire pit should you wish not to use the communal fire pit. We hope this description helps! Site 1 is best suited for a camper van. Everyone must pass by this site to get to the other sites. SIte 1 is also closest to the Porta Potty. Site 5 and 6 are in the very back of the property and might be best if you are camping with another family. Site 7 is closest to the fire pit. One tent per space please. Skokomish Park on Lake Cushman was the most beautiful campsite we’ve ever visited. Extremely spacious/private forested sites including 30 full hook-up sites with paved and level pull-in drives. Very clean and extremely well maintained. Great walking and easy access to gorgeous Lake Cushman. There’s even an outdoor movie theater for a fun weekend night with friends and family.

Carl’s property was so beautiful. I loved the sound of the creek and the wind chime. The set up is so great! Nice private space with a fence and loved the lights around the exterior of the property. He had it looking so good with some awesome little decorations. Very inviting and so peaceful. So many deer came by in the evening. We felt welcomed by both Carl and his wife. I would definitely recommend Spike Camp to all!

3 nights at Pacific Shores Hideaway.

We had a wonderful time here. The camping area was very private and I like that it was gated. The grounds were nice, surrounded by trees and bushes, so it felt like being in your own private park. We were the only people there the first night, and the couple who came for the rest of the weekend were very nice. All the hookups worked fine and it was really nice to have them. It was a healthy walk to the beach, but you could hear the ocean from the camping area. It’s too bad there was a burn ban, because we could have had our own campfire, but there was also a covered communal fire pit that looked very inviting. Elisa obviously worked hard to make it such a nice place to camp, and we will definitely go there again.

Skokomish Park At Lake Cushman is a great campground. Very wooded, so it stayed cool all day. Most sites are fairly roomy; we had a 22’ camper and a 10 person tent with plenty of space between. Fun activities for the kids; scavenger hunt, yard games, playground, giant outdoor movie screen showing classics on the weekends (Shrek and Princess Bride for our weekend). Lakefront rocky beach, boat launch, kayak rentals, general store. We loved it!
