This property has been in the Buck family for 70+ years and has always been a great place for our family to come and work, relax and enjoy ourselves. We decided to start sharing this beautiful land with people wanting to “get away from it all”. This land has great sentimental value and is shared with an abundance of wildlife. Please enjoy your stay but respect our family home.

Ricks Exercise Farm

Our farm is located in the center of the Yakima Valley in Southeastern Washington State. The physical address is 3510 Scoon Road Sunnyside, Washington. The Valley is known as the fruit bowl of the nation. The site is located on a farm that has been in production on the Roza slope 4 miles north of Sunnyside since 1945. Surrounded by fields of peppermint, Concord grapes, and a variety of crops within walking distance it is a fertile paradise. The Yakima Valley has thousands of acres of wine grapes, hops, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, and vegetables. Wineries are located up and down the Valley and people drive 100s of miles to do wine tours. Several microbreweries are also accessible and within 50 miles to the west you’ll be in premier hiking in the Cascades.

Note for the balance of year 2024: We have lost our pressurized water supply at the site. We will be installing a new supply line in Spring 2025. Please fill your fresh water tank before arrival at the site. If you can give me advance notice I’ll arrange for an alternate water supply to fill your tank upon arrival. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and estimate that the situation will be resolved next year. Thank you for your patronage and safe travels and happy camping.

Pigture Perfect

Hi! We have a beautiful 5 acre WORKING farm which is home to over to 50 animals. The animals are friendly and love getting pets and snacks! We have a creek in our yard that flows year around and our place is located in a completely fenced in yard. We are about 14 miles away from the nearest town. Pasture and farm group surrounds the property. It's is again a working farm, and our home, so it's not perfect but it is 

Pirate River

Grassy area with trees on the bank of the Yakima River. Quiet and peaceful. Small campfires are allowed all year in designated spots. There are mosquitos so be prepared for that! During the summer months, the Yakima River is perfect for kayaking,  paddleboarding, canoeing,  float tubes, or just swimming. Catfish and bass are the main fish here and fishing is good most of the time.
